Teach me how to make money and I will give 98% of all my earnings to you.
All I want is the sensation of knowing how to make money for myself, then I will have reached my limit and feel happy about myself. It won't matter even if I die at that point.
What do you think, /biz/?
Offer a good or service that people will pay you for

Go to Mcdonald's and put in an application and ask to speak to the manager.
That simple.
Don't know how im going to feel taking 98% of your 8$.

I will give you my job making 50k/year if you give me 20k/year. I'm getting a new job and it's completely up to me who gets my old job. No skills needed. Must be willing to relocate. I have known the boss for 20 years so I can get you fired if you stop paying me at any time.
legit offer. let me know.
Is collecting old coins a good hobby to have? I have multiple from the 1800s and 1900s but i'm just wondering if it will all be worth it in the end when I sell or should I just keep them for historical value?
Pic related.
>>1455870
it doesn't seem to be all that profitable from what I can tell, though coins don't really lose their value either
if you're going to collect coins do it because you like the history or find them aesthetically pleasing, don't do it to make money
>>1455882
This.
Vintage coins are not very volatile. They're a buy & hold sort of thing for the pleasure of history and numismatics in general.
Your best chance of seriously profiting from coins is if you bought a ton of them and then for some unforeseeable reason, production sharply halted.
The 1933 double eagle is so expensive simply because of FDR's executive order that halted the production of them, save for two official coins to be kept in official storage (Smithsonian I think). Ten escaped the mint illegally, but nine have been seized. The other one was auctioned for millions.
Edward VIII sovereigns should have appreciated considerably as well, solely because he abdicated unexpectedly, serving as emperor for less than a year. This made the supply of bullion bearing his face extremely scarce.
You can't really predict these things. Buying precious metal ETFs is better for speculating, and holding Canadian Maple Leaves with abrasions is the cheapest way to get to the gold spot if you're into that.
>>1455898
Is there some website to find out the worth of my coins or do I need to see some sort of expert?
Im doing a dual degree in Economics and Mathematics at a respected but not quite top-tier public uni, what's the comfiest job I can get that pays 60k+ a year?
>>1455851
Actuary or Loan Officer for a bank.
>>1455851
actuary pays 100k+ and is hard to get into. go for lower tier stuff first
Go sales and become the sales manager once you're half competent.
100k checks ezpz.
why is , "suck a bunch of strange men's dicks till they cum"

because it works.

are you speaking from experience, or fantasy?
>>1455848
you remember when "That's what she said" was big? It was funny for a month, then losers who wanted people to like them kept saying it for another 5+ years thinking they were hilarious and the rest of us just kind of felt uncomfortable because it wasn't funny anymore, it was painfully unfunny.
this is a lot like that.
So I'm 19 still going through college and I'm currently sitting on 1k I've made from a part time job. I have no clue what to do investing wise and schools paid for so its disposable. Could anyone give some insite or experience?
Consider getting an internship or a co-op and potentially purchase a used car, to commute with, if it is not available with public transport.
Or save it for the unexpected.

Quick question about the a credit card application.
I'm currently no/low income (early stages of a new business, can elaborate if necessary) and I'm about to apply for a new credit card because I'm about to have a shitload of travel spend and the rewards make the most sense for my situation in the next year.
I have no problem paying whatever I put on it, but they obviously won't know that if I put a low income in the application.
My credit score is in the high 700s and near 0 debt to credit ratio with other lines of credit totaling about $30k, but I don't think that's enough of a factor for them to overlook the income.
So basically the question is, how big of a deal is fibbing the income portion of the application?
Obviously not astronomical amounts of fudging, but something like what I'm expecting to be making next year instead of this year.
Would they have any way to know I'm lying? Obviously they can ask for proof if they doubt it, but I've never been asked to provide proof of income before.
As far as the legality of it, I know that lying on an application can cause the debt on that credit line to be undischargable in bankruptcy -- again, not a problem because I'm in no risk of bankruptcy -- but is there anything else to consider?
It seems that at worst, they close my account if they somehow find out I bullshitted the application.
>>1455760
Here's another trick if you're too much of a pussy to lie about your income because you think they are actually going to call every employer of every applicant they receive:
Lie about your assets. For example, they might ask you how much stock or investments you own. If you want an $X credit limit, say you own $X amount of stocks/investments. They'll see that as collateral they can use against your limit and give you up to that limit.
>>1455760
zero chance, nobody cares, it's so trivial.
Say you make at least 10x annual income more than your requested limit, you defiantly own your home and do not rent, you have had the same employer for as long as you have been alive since you where 18.
Other than that the only way to drive it up will be outspending your limit monthly.
Nobody has time to go fucking hunt this shit down. Even if they did? Whats the first thing they would do... decline your limit increase? Who cares.
>>1455763
Assets I don't have an issue with, but idk if they'd even get that far if I list 0 income and they deny the app immediately.
I don't necessarily think they're going to call people, but idk if they'd look at my credit history and see enough there that it would make them want to ask for additional proof or something.
Just asking to get a second opinion and cover my bases.
>>1455765
idk man, I wouldn't think so but I've heard Amex do crazy shit like put you through a "Fiancial Review" and make you provide IRS documents.
Really my only concern with it is that I'm basically lying about basically having no income to saying I have high enough for a top tier card rather than fudging what is actually $60k income into $75k income.
(and I also don't want to be on a permanent shitlist)
Anyway, thanks bros.
Who else /literallythrowspenniesinthetrash/ here?
I've done the math and by the time I die at worst I've thrown out about a $500, which is minuscule compared to the amount of money I'm gonna retire with.
Also, if I factored in time wasted with the little fuckers I'm probably actually saving money.
Sometimes I even toss nickels, dimes, and the occasional quarter.
>inb4 just give it to a hobo

One maybe two person operation.

which is why you're asking 4chan.
>>1455739
Know bars, don't know Hawaii.
about the same as opening up a store somewhere but it's like a bar instead.
cheers to being a fresh college grad, you should probably start a little smaller than dumping 500k into a random experiment.
Why is /biz/ shilling the shit out of AURNIA PHARMA INC is this a real stock with potential to Moon or just another Meme will there be a major pump and dump should I invest now?
No one is shilling this but you, shill

>sell 3 btc to friend irl when they are at $650 each
>every day he tells me how much he lost on them
should i just tell him to stop being a baby back bitch and that i spent more on lunch then what he lost, or that he is a retard for wanting to buy at $650, or both.
i could offer to just buy them back at $650 but it wouldn't be teaching him a lesson
Protip - never talk about money with friends. It ruins friendships.
>>1455657
I think he already learned his lesson about buying bitcoin, bro.
I worked in a well respected large multinational firm for over 2 years but was made redundant because of the bad economy. I moved interstate for this job.
I moved back home to my city (other side of the country) and unfortunately my city has the worst unemployment rate in my country. I haven't been able to find work in 4 months.
I'm thinking of applying for jobs interstate in the bugger cities while living in my current city.
Do you think employers will take me seriously if I state on my resume I am willing to pay for all travel and relocation costs? Will my experience and business degree help me find a good job?
>>1455651
As someone who looks at resumes for 30 minutes a day and hires a person probably every two weeks:
It makes you sound desperate. Just apply to the jobs out of state and then see if they offer relocation compensation. If not, then you are where you would have been anyway.
What do you do?
>>1455654
I have a degree in commerce but major in accounting and finance. I have worked in accounting, contracts administration and business process improvement after graduation (the company I worked for moved me around to give me a wide range of skills).
I hope that if I say I can easily move interstate and live in my family members house it will increase my chances
>>1455651
Unless you have hard to find skills, you're resume will wind up in the trash if you aren't local.
How many of you personally can or know someone that out poorfag my cousin.

So I followed that advice from the guy on the money4anon website, I've got my shit up and running, and I am currently in the spamming phase, but I am not having much luck. Anybody have any tips on how to increase web traffic? Especially if it's related to facebook or twitter, because I hear there is big potential there, but I don't know how to tap into it at all, not well versed in social media, you could say.

Anybody else? I'm talking about shilling my shit on facebook and comments sections across the internet.
