Why didn't you just choose to be born into money?
>>1455373
what makes you think I didn't?
I don't know. I was thinking about it a few times, but I can't remember.

Being in a rich family isnt all that its cracked up to be. If your father is incredibly successful at his job, chances are you never see him, and when you do, you are a dissapointment. In order to keep your family line successful, you need to discipline and teach the younger generation hard. If you do not do this, there is a high chance of the younger generation inheriting something he doesnt fully understand and a massive problem appearing. Sure, you get to go to the best schools, drive the best cars, and get a nice phone, but what if the son is ignored by his parents because they are workaholics, or worse, told he is worthless by a well established parental figure that he has no chance of competing with? Its not all fun and games being rich.
The boss man told me he wanted to touch base next week. What did he mean? Is this some kind of come on?

Damn that's actually a really good plan
> Read Internet Marketing forums for months
> Ok, let's start it -> made a website reviewing amazon products
> Worked my ass off for a month writing long articles about boring(for me) topics
> English is not my first language so I put extra work in to make it professional
> Placed amazon links, adsense
> Gained traffic through social media
The site made ~100$ in a year. Hosting + domain: 110$
Balance: -$10 -a month from my life (but at least now I know how to make a website)
mfw meanwhile made ~$300 spamming porn links on blogs/forums in three months 'working' a few minutes/day
Now I want to create a website again that is not porn related and I can fully focus on. I'm looking for profitable niches that aren't boring as f*ck.
//Plan B: making a website on how to make money online. Those who can't do, teach.//
Youtube Revenue is a mistake.
If you make YouTube revenue now it'll follow you your whole entire life.
20 something girls and faggy men are to content generation as Chinese are to manufacturing and illegal Mexican immigrants are to agriculture.
Drive content pricing down as low as possible, pump out high volumes of low quality product and skim off the long tail and keep creators on a leash.
1st post was right too - the shit these people say and do for a dollar today will nag them for a lifetime and whatever was popular and trendy today will be looked down on in a decade or two.
Is this how wagecucks cope now?
My videos will keep making money forever even if I stop uploading. Literally freebux while you rot in your shitty job or have to deal with shitty customers if you are an entrepreneurcuck.
In a couple of months I'm headed out to Taiwan. Not looking to debate about which country I should be moving to. Suffice to say, I'm in the English teacher hole. I don't want to be an English teacher. Unfortunately, jobs in other fields are difficult to come by.
How should I go about leveraging this move in order to best maximize money making opportunities? Entrepreneurship is requisite. I have some connections there as well so getting through the red tape won't be as difficult for me as some foreigners.
I have some ideas of my own, but I want to hear others out as well.

Can you speak Mandarin, or read Hanzi?
We've seen your type before laowai
>>1455302
Yes. Rudimentary but yes.
I'm 20 year old, I have $100,000 in my savings account.
How do I turn this $100,000 into $1,000,000 in less then 5 years risk free?
>Invest all of it in $KNPD
>Suck premium dicks

Youre 20, you have all the time in the world to recover from a big financial loss.
Why are you even risk avoidant?
see this is why wealth should be wiped when you die and not given to hairs
this little fucking NEET man, it's just not fucking fair
You had the "college experience" while I focused on self sufficiency via my own business. You all dropped out.
You accumulated every sneaker and trendy accessory while I wore hanes T shirts and buzzed my own hair to save money.
You were going on vacations I was working 80 hours a week. I didn't even have a passport.
You were financing used luxury cars at double digit interest while I was DIYing maintenance and repairs on a work truck.
You racked up consumer debt while I made conservative investments.
You rented a nice apartment, I rented a room in the bad side of town.
You got engaged or knocked up a crazy bitch, I decided to wait it out.
You spent the little money you had left every week on fancy dinners and video games. I ate healthy and choose free/cheap hobbies that would make me a better person. I got in shape and learned about business, finance, philosophy, politics, history, biology, psychology.
Now I have all the time, money, and women I could ever want. I own a home and a business. I'm psychically fit and emotional healthy. I gave myself a purpose in life. To become self actualized and to seek out others who shares the same values.
But none of that matters to you. You're a bitter, miserable person. You are only concerned with instant gratification and social status. Always keeping score. You're in worse shape than ever and a borderline substance abuser. You're almost 30 and don't have any savings.
and you know what? I don't fucking care!!!
>>1455003
>You had the "college experience"
Correct, graduated with a Bachelor's degree followed by a Masters degree
>You accumulated every sneaker and trendy accessory
No, I actually shopped at KMart when I needed clothes that weren't bought for me
>You were going on vacations I was working 80 hours a week. I didn't even have a passport.
Well OK I went on a Europe/USA/Canada 18 month holiday using money I saved up from working in a college-educated profession that pays more than you earn
>You were financing used luxury cars at double digit interest while I was DIYing maintenance and repairs on a work truck.
Nope, I drove a shitbox I wasn't proud of but I owned it and it served me well - wasn't as gay as your 'truck' thank christ
>You racked up consumer debt while I made conservative investments.
Nope
>You rented a nice apartment, I rented a room in the bad side of town.
Nope, lived with parents rent-free
>You got engaged or knocked up a crazy bitch, I decided to wait it out.
Ya got me, knocked up/married a crazy
>You spent the little money you had left every week on fancy dinners and video games. I ate healthy and choose free/cheap hobbies that would make me a better person. I got in shape and learned about business, finance, philosophy, politics, history, biology, psychology.
Nope, home gym and ON Whey Gold
>Now I have all the time, money, and women I could ever want. I own a home and a business. I'm psychically fit and emotional healthy. I gave myself a purpose in life. To become self actualized and to seek out others who shares the same values.
So do I - work from home, own my home outright
>But none of that matters to you. You're a bitter, miserable person. You are only concerned with instant gratification and social status. Always keeping score. You're in worse shape than ever and a borderline substance abuser. You're almost 30 and don't have any savings.

>and you know what? I don't fucking care!!!

Assuming someone lies on their resume about knowing the basics of financial modelling/valuations (enough to get through an interview for an entry level position)
how quickly can someone learn enough to get to that level assuming they have taken calc, stats, accounting, etc.
>>1454765
or you can pick up a book about it and learn and then you won't be lying. too hard?
>>1454768
my question is mainly how quickly can someone get to that level of knowledge from that base
a week of decent work?
>>1454765
>how quickly can someone learn enough to get to that level assuming they have taken calc, stats, accounting, etc.
This is relative to your individual aptitude. Asking for anecdotes is pretty useless.

Which bank should I use for all my incomes and investment? Or should I hire an accountant to do that? I make 10k to 15k USD a month
>>1454669
Set up a business, run your taxes through the business.
"Yeah, that Taco Gordita Crunch Wrap Supreme was a business expense. I got to feed the dogs something."
you dont make enough to warrant hiring an accountant yet to handle your business, do it yourself until you get to a quarter mill per year.
Sorru to hijack your thread, but this is related;
What's the best US bank I should go to for a checking account? I've been internally battling between Chase and Citibank for awhile, and I need to dump $300.
Buying GoPro stock - good idea?
Their financials have been in the shitter for a while now and stock prices are low, but the could the late 2016 release of the Hero 5 and the new drone turn things around? Is now a good time to invest, while its low? Could this be the next AMD type situation here?
I doubt it, but I could be wrong. I think Xiaomi's drone is the one to watch out for. The hero 5 could do well, but I cant help but feel like gopro is the next blackberry. Too slow to roll out products and unable to expand beyond their niche market.
