6th Large World Economic shock?
Bill Bonner's Firm Predicted
The fall of the Soviet Union.
The collapse of the Japanese stock market.
The dot-com bust in 2000.
The rise of Muslim terrorism.
And the financial meltdown of 2008.
I think it's worth watching this

I dunno when he considers a collapse of the Japanese economy, soviet union and 'terrorism' as world shocks, they lose a bit of credibility
Literally the only one that impacted me is 'terrorism', because I go to airports a lot and it has caused substantial delays

Is it hard to find a (shitty) job in accounting or finance by self-learning?
>>1458973
It is impossible.
>>1458973
no. You have so much competition from people who actually went to school for the same thing.
>>1458973
Kind of. You need to show that you aren't a complete retard and college is the best way fi you can attend for cheap.
If you are a RA & get aid it can even be free if your parents are poorfags.
I paid $8K my first year and then was an RA for the next 3 years. I went to UIUC, one of the most expensive public schools.
I graduated without debt and actually had ~11K saved when I graduated because of internship money.
Currently there is no way to buy crypto through fiat. Using your credit card you can only buy bitcoin and even that is pretty compicated for a noob. What is to stop me frok starting an exchange that will enable direct easy purchase of any crypto currency by credit card? Why cant I go to a country with loose banking laws and start such an exchange? What can go wrong and why nobody did it yet?
>>1458926
Sure. Wait, why should I trust a guy named "Nigerian Prince"?
And why should I visit a website of a guy I know nothing about, that nobody else visits?
What countrys have loose banking laws?
How much capital is required to start such a website that will handle millions and millions of dollars of peoples money?
What can go wrong? You can move to a country with a loose banking law, realize the government is totalitarian and that you don't speak the language, you try and get a loan to start your business but since you have no credit score there, the loaners want to control the entire business after you do the work for them. Also, if the country has loose security laws and a high crime rate, exchanges and banks that transfer lots of money are generally targets for terrorists and criminals.
>>1458926
One word: chargebacks.
You inherit an enormous amount of risk selling something that is untraceable and irreversable. Some of the larger bitcoin exchanges have mitigated that risk by requiring an enormous amount of personal identification, long verification process, small purchasing limits and huge markups. This makes the "quick easy" credit card purchase into a complicated long one, therefore negating the whole purpose. If you can find a better way to prevent chargebacks then this might be a viable business. Until then you are up shits creek, sans paddle.
>>1458989
Pretty much all your arguments also would apply to any coin exchange, yet they exist.
Lets say I have the money for the infrastructure if the website, forget about country with loose laws . I would not be doing anything illegal as far as I can tell. I will be selling a comodety. Why is that not viable enough? To buy any meme coin you have to be jump through so many hoops that simplifing that process would make the life of many people easier and would not be technically illegal. It would be a great mechanism for monet laundering though
It's always been my dream to have my own food truck business. Problem is I don't know shit about the business side of it. I know its very important before I just dive in and buy a truck. Any advice?? I just like cooking.

While I was drunk, I told my girlfriend to take her on a weekend trip. That shit will cost me like 150 euro (thats too much for my country).
How do I take that back now? What excuse should I use to not take her for a weekend?
>>1458883
Take 150 usd, invest in monero, by weekend it triples. Cash out, take her on the trip and have 150 usd profit.
>>1458890
seriously ive already gained 26$ with monero in the past 20 minutes..
>>1458883
Take her on a walk by a cliff, then push her off. Seems like the only rational solution.
Why is "economic activity" such a great thing?
Why are various parties trading assets something governments should encourage at all costs?
>>1458845
It means that money is circulating, there is more opportunity to grab onto money, and that businesses are making money and staying afloat. Think, would you rather have the opportunity to make $10 or no opportunity to make any extra cash as the bills pile in?
>>1458845
It's necessary for a functioning 'free' society.
A functioning society gives you access to goods and services not easily obtained or unobtainable by an individual.
>>1458845
"Economic activity" is, in the completely pristine hypothetical and nonexistent market, always good because is the act of two people exchanging things for things they each value more highly, thus both parties benefit and are better off than they were when they started. A dedicated trader may enter a market even and while he doesn't produce any actual direct goods or services he can make a tidy profit moving things around to where they are most desired, essentially performing the service of finding out who needs something the most.
That said, trading itself does not actually add useful goods or services to the world or satisfy people's needs in a direct manner. Trading for the sake of trading is not a useful economic activity. Frederic Bastiat covered this pretty thoroughly in the early 1800s. You can look up The Candlemaker's Petition for a breezy humorous essay or the Parable of the Broken Window if you'd like some deeper reading on the subject.
DarkNet markets have officially adopted Monero as their new currency.
It is Bitcoin, but with better privacy, so illegal trade can be done 100% anonymously and even NSA can't spy on you.
If you want to stay poor, don't buy it now.
Monero- currency of the future
Bitcoin- WE WUZ BLOCKCHAIN AN SHEEEITT
>>1458882
Monero isn't that much better, but it is perfect for illegal dark net purchases, which was pretty much the only intrinsic value of Bitcoin.
This is why I bought this shit for a few k, I don't see the downside.
Oh wow, so my few k gets reduced to 1k, ok. Well, if dark net markets adopt it, then that 1k can grow into 50k.
>>1458843
Wow... I was literally thikning about selling all my ETC last night and buying Monero.. Didnt do it.
How high do you guys see it going, I just bought at the top, if the dark net has accepted it it will go up right?
>Someone who has been employed for a while is giving you the evidence of submission
>Evidence of submission is displayed by having gone through years of the ritual of depriving himself of his personal freedom for nine hours every day, punctual arrival at an office, denying himself his own schedule, and not having beaten up anyone. You have an obedient, housebroken dog.
> Perhaps by definition an employable person is the one that you will never find in a history book because these people are designed to never leave their mark on the course of events. They are, by design, uninteresting to historians.

Sup /biz/ Amazon currently have a large amount of my money. My account is "under review" and as of now its been three days since I sent my appeal, and I'm yet to hear anything more.
How can I expedite this process? Any tips from Amazon sellers/support?
>>1458770
Be completely honest with them. I know, I know, "Thats the best advice ever" but seriously. If you werent doing anything bad, honesty is the best policy. If you were doing some obviously illegal/shady activity, your money is all locked up forever. Amazon has professionals look at your account who know all about trading laws/policies and have seen it all 400 times before. If you know you were doing something illegal, give up now.
>>1458842
by locked up forever you mean that it's unrecoverable? I haven't been provided with the details as to why they've locked my account, so had to give the usual old response to the claim (inauthentic item).
>>1458857
Can you make an educated guess as to why they locked your account?
I understand they havent told you, but it is YOUR account.
What is the most likely reason they thought "Woah, woah, woah, freeze it."??

I just happened to read up on extreme couponing today and gave it a quick look into. After just a few hours I'd already earned a tenner cashback and gotten a few products for free. I always thought this was just something poor people did, but after realizing I spend around £2000/year on groceries and seeing you can actually profit from it I'm taking it more seriously.
