Why are iPhone app developers so hard to find?
I posted a job for a mobile developer and received 60 applications, all Android (mostly pajeets).
Only a couple did iOS and they wanted £60k, when my budget is £30-40k.
How the fuck am I supposed to build a multi-platform app? Gonna cost me £100k in total for just Android and iPhone.

To mention first, I've been inspired by money4anon.com website.
I plan creating some dental info site for Russian-speaking auditory.
I've done some research about existing dental info sites, article sizes(pretty big, from 5k characters up to 11k),article contents(rich by original illustrations and not original photos) and amount of search queries per month in my area(3 500 000 if I sum up everything).
Numbers seem so good and possibility to directly advertise some dental clinics promises huge money. As well as maybe using it in my career. Maybe.
However, existing sites seem to be ok and have enough information to fulfill visitors needs.
One of them has 500 articles of nice quality with pictures, lists and tips. SEO included also.
Calculations show that I will need at least two thousand bucks and a lot of effort to get worthwhile amount of visitors. This is true if I can get cheap re-writers(copywriters in this area can't be cheap), I plan using student labor.(but there must be some underwater rocks)
I've finished high school and attended to dental school this year. I consider second my only competitive advantage: I will be able to make photos myself, maybe add some patient stories, answer visitors questions and be able to not write absolute bullshit.
Should I start this "venture"? Dental info site.
Or should I look on something more "bloggy"? But I'm almost sure that dental clinics customers don't read doctors blogs, although they are quite interesting.
In this case I should have aimed at doctors themselves, they can spend a lot of money on other dental stuff, like materials or tools, but they are not interested in some youngsters blog.

I would think about maybe the blog being a side part of the site to drum up views but the actual site being a directory, you can make enough money to live comfortably with a decent directory site which charges like $100/year to list on

You'd have to contact paypal but they don't support crypto transactions so they wouldn't help you. Anon did you use paxful or bitfinex? They pretty much tell you before hand that you shouldn't
a) sell in large quantities
and
b) only exchange bitcoins where you can verify someone's identity
You have to make sure the deal sounds reasonable i.e. $1.25 per amazon gift card. Also make the person verify they are who they say they are through the use of ids
also you're not getting your money back, let this be a learning experience

I'm living in Ecuador and want to sell local goods to Americans online. Unfortunately, despite our currency being the US dollar, PayPal does not allow accounts from Ecuador for some reason. Also Kickstarter requires a US bank account as well. How tf am I supposed to get into ecommerce living in a country that is being excluded from doing so? What was the point of switching to the US dollar 15 years ago anyway if no one wants to even fuck with us? Anyway... suggestions on how to operate an online business from a 3rd world country? Much appreciated.

Just set up a legit eBay shop. You can legit BUY ON EBAY, and resell the same shit ON EBAY.

No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

Otherwise you should be using stockcharts.com, finviz, Yahoo/Google finance, or even Stocktwits for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

So basically me and my friend decided to start this small size company. Basically it allows people, pubs etc to post meetups and events/concerts happening in the city. My whole idea was it should be like a traditional image board style, without the anonymous posting ofcourse. Upload your flyer or whatever, and post message
However my friends thinks having "Event name, date, venue, description" text fields is a better way.
I'm pretty sure my Idea would get more people and activity as it's much more comfortable.
While his is just "facebook pages-lite" or something. I told him it would scare people away.
Maybe I'm being too open minded, can I /biz/ opinion?

Self-employed here. I don't make much money, probably $12k a year but I live with my gf who doesn't charge me rent or food :D (we've been together 4 years and she def wants to get married) So pretty much all my cash is for spending
I have $3k cash right now. And here's my dilemma:
I'm about to buy an engagement ring. ($3,100) I have a wells fargo credit card with a $2100 limit. And a balance of $1900 on it. FICO score of 652
I'm trying to figure out if I should apply for a credit card and split charge the ring.
Or just use the diamond stores financing which is also through wells fargo. Same as cash, 9 months but a Hefty interest fee if I miss a payment.
I'd like to sell my car as well and get a slightly newer model. I could afford to do so if I didn't get the ring. Not sure if taking out a personal loan to cover both is a reasonable option.
I'm looking at an year 2000 LS 400, roughly $9,000 (mint condition 50k miles). I can get $3800 for my car.
How would you move this money around? Is there a way to raise my credit through all of this?

Financing for anything under 10,000 is retarded and even more so if it's a car.
My advice is get a job and work, don't get a loan. Whatever you do for money is not viable and the only reason you're alive is because you're freeloading so hard. I'm not trying to be rude, but seriously man, on 12k a year you couldn't even live if anything went wrong.

photography; almost two years now. I was modeling for a 5 years and making a little more but I'm tired of that and switched to the other side of the camera. I still get some modeling jobs, got a check in the mail for $1900 for one weekend of wearing t-shirts with pretty girls.
most new businesses don't really turn a profit for a while. I own all my gear (about $10k worth) and have fairly steady jobs.
I got a full time job during the holidays last year and it screwed up my photo business. I didn't have time to take new bookings and was so rushed at the jobs I was doing because I double booked my free days.
So for the long run, I need to invest my time/energy into my end game. which is me being the owner of my own business. And not working for some other Jabroney
I've always made little money and had a comfy life. I have an amazing gf who thinks im saving for a car but I'll surprise her with a ring instead.
we both have insanely rich families, I'm sure I have just as much security as you do.
