Why retire early? I had fantasy's about retiring at 40 and doing nothing but I just turned 30 and could realistically retire right now but it just seems so boring. I don't see the appeal in retiring at all honestly

Anyone here ever try metal detecting? I was thinking of buying one for a couple hundred and giving it a shot. I live on the coast so I figure there has to be coins/jewelry/buried pirate treasure on the beach. Now I don't think I would make my money back anytime soon, but I figure it would keep me active on the weekends.
