Ok /biz/, I invested in Kneepads because it seemed so popular here.

On Friday, I bought $20 kneepads and $5 lipbalm, and managed to satisfy 5 clients in one day at $10 per session.

thats $50 I made.. and 100% ROI on the kneepads and lipbalm. Very happy. These yields are very good.

I rested for the weekend.. On monday, I woke up with Oral herpes. the Acyclovir treatment costed me around $100..

So thats negative -100% ROI on the kneepads and lipbalm.

Screw you /biz/!

Fucks up with shit tier? Half the majors there are normally in god/great tier

Hey /biz/

I've got about 60k loose. Right now it's invested at a bank at 2.75% rate which is fine I guess here in Canada but I'm looking forward making more gains and making my money work for me a little more. Stock trading and crypto trading is very interesting to me, I played a little with both in the past, made a few returns, a few losses but nothing major.

Today I'm here looking for advice as of where should I put my money next? Stocks? Cryptos? Bonds? Mutual funds? Loans?

Here's a few bonus questions:
1- Any good stock trading platform for canadians like Robinhood? (minimum fees, etc)
2- Investing in marijuana stocks seem like a great idea right now in Canada. Pros/Cons?

Keep in mind that suggestions should be ones available from Canada. (Lots of neat stuff available for US markets nowadays but here it mostly sucks AFAIK)

THX!

>>

You suggest I should invest in bull semen? Like actual companies that markets sperms from male cows right?
>>
>>1513228
I know weed stocks have been shit in the US for a while. Maybe things have changed I don't really follow it anymore.

Also apps like Robinhood are better for people with low sums of cash. If you are dealing with 60k you might want to work with a more advanced software even though they will change more. I personally like Think or Swim but I'm not sure if it is available in Leaf land or not.

>buy all clothes and shoes from eBay. $200 wool slacks are $10 and $300 shoes are $50
>grains and legumes are the staple of your diet. Never eat at restaurants
>never go to the movies pirate all entertainment
>do not fall for Normie memes like festivals or events
>no cable only internet
>buy last model phone second hand for $150 off of eBay
>do not fall for the bus/bike meme time is money get a cheap car for $1500 the amount of time you will save is ludicrous
>never listen to others opinions about your money/style of living
>if you work a job constantly search for a new job that pays more/is a better fit never be loyal to a company they will show you no loyalty
>only own what you use unless you own land and can store belongings everything else sell or throw away baggage takes time and time is money
>invest heavily in overall health never go to the doctor unless absolutely necessary
>never "splurge" or "just have fun" always ends up being a meme
>avoid prolonged interaction with poors/wagies/cucks/numales/Normies/hedonists in general all they know is football and "sigh I'm broke again" hanging out with self depreciating wagies will cost you more in the long run
>learn skills that make you more useful IE. Ruby on rails instead of 15th century Japanese

How do you guys do it? I become a literal train wreck when I margin trade.. I cant sleep easy and get stressed.. The prospect of getting my margin position totally wrecked prevents me from doing good in this field. Im quite ok with normal trading and sleep easy, since I know my investments will never get liquidated.

And dont even think about stop losses, since small fluctuations can trigger your stop loss and rek your margin, and recover later. Missing out on sweet gains.

I feel like i need to be in an induced coma

Why? Are you using your life savings or something?
>>

no. I only use around 5% of my savings. Most of my money are in low risk/yield investments.

but still, the thought of losing hundreds or thousands of dollars in a day always gets to me. Thats around a months paycheck, if you think about it.

If you want to sell something, make sure 100 other people aren't already selling it.

Switch up your wares. Hot days = bottled water, etc

I never sold stuff on the street but I used to sell candy and soda in school. Always did pretty well, never had to advertise. Everyone wanted it and nobody had it.

>>1512982
>why do we have crashes and bailouts
crashes are a natural mechanism for the market to cleanse itself from bad constructions and bad debt. bailouts are the poison that make this process wasteful and incomplete. bailout is the biggest bullshit ever. the entire notion that here are things too big to fail will only add oil to the fire and everyone tries to be too big to fail and as wasteful as possible. but whatever... patriarchy is something i only wish it existed. maybe it's time to start it up.

Do you reckon it's a bad idea to spend $5 a week on lotto tickets on the off chance I win. To me it's such a low proportion of my income and I don't think I would notice it was gone. I don't spend money on coffee or anything else that is a small but repetitive purchase.

Obviously It's very unlikely I would win but the reward can pretty much set you up for life so if it's not gonna impact me in any way why not do it?

Instead donate $260 a year to people who could really use it. That money means so little to you, you're going to throw it away. Surprisingly, this will help you live a better life.

Alternatively buy 40 tabs of acid once a year. Take all 40 at once. The results will be more beneficial to your life than actually winning the lottery.
