Is it wise to use every single penny i've saved up to start my own company?
as in 18 months from now i'll have (hopefully) around 240,000 bucks waiting for harvest, and i'm thinking of using it all to start a fast food joint, something like subway of sorts.

And before you ask, i'm currently a chef.

Every single penny seems excessive. Any emergency rolling around could be pretty bad without a little safety cushion.

It really depends I guess. If you could still get credit relatively easy it's less of a problem to invest all of your available funds. But it's definitely unwise to go all-out and max out your credit to start a business. You need wiggle room in your calculation. For your business plan you should already include a worst case scenario, but personally I'd feel uneasy without adding a little buffer on top. Your first business is tough and it's easy to overlook some money sinks.

Are you incorporating an LLC or will you run on personal liability?
How much do you reckon you have to invest until you hit break-even and when will it be?
What is your monthly cost of living?
>>
>>1684752
Fuck me for a second I thought you had $240k worth of pennies you've saved up. I thought the amount must be a typo.

Does anyone have a store on clips4sale? Can you actually make a decent profit or what?

I have lots of original amateur pictures and some amateur videos I filmed of myself banging girls that I'm thinking of selling on there. Is it worth it? Or better to create my own pay site?

This.

>Can you actually make a decent profit or what?

No.
Even with professional videos you won't.
You will make profit but not DECENT one, at least for a first world country.

Don't sell individual videos. Subsriptions is the way to go, altho all payment processing pages will also fuck you raw in the ass with their regular as well as entry fees.

>In February 2011, $10M was withdrawn using the pre-paid debit cards distributed by the American Red Cross to disaster relief victims. The cards were operated by JPMorgan Chase. On February 27 and 28, 2011 a total of around 20 pre-paid debit cards were used in approximately 15,000 transactions to withdraw $10M from ATM machines in 18 countries, including ATMs in the Eastern District of New York.

>In Findikoglu's second Unlimited attack, pre-paid debit cards for the India-based company ECS, operated by National Bank of Ras Al-Khaimah PSC (RAKBANK) in the United Arab Emirates were used. On December 21 and 22, 2012, approximately 5,000 transactions in at least 20 countries resulted in withdrawal of $5M.

Depends, which country are you in?

So I've been selling counterfeit makeup on ebay for a few months now (on and off)

Is it dumb to continue to do it? Ive had to refund one person bc she knew they were fake.

The eyeshadow palettes are like $13AUD to buy and sell for $50 +

Lipsticks are $3 ea and sell for $40 +

I've been going through ebay and depop.

It's dumb because you could get your PayPal acct banned for life
>>
>>1684497
I've had three paypal accs.

One is in -$180
Another is -$90
Third one is my current one that is linked to my bank and debit card.

I havn't had anyone on my doorstep about the two accs and they've been like that for 6 months to a year.

How could you ban it for life?
I could just buy a prepaid card and create a new one.
>>
>>1684505

is there a reason why you sell makeup at the low price? like less chance of getting caught by ebay or what?

what if you sold counterfeit stuff at $1000 or so, would you get caught more easily?

Ordering something from the US to Canada.
I feel stupid asking this, but I'm not quite sure what this means:

"Shipments to Canada:

MSI International Parcel (Customs Duties Free): 8-15 business days depending on location and customs delays."

So does that mean if I order said product, there is NO customs/duties?
6 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
As obvious as this is, I don't normally import products, and even if I do, it's usually through Amazon which clearly shows how much I owe in customs/duties...
>>
It means there are no duties. You don't pay anything.
>>
>>1684435
>>1684435
You don't have to pay anything, you just have to wait a while since everybody in the fucking country is trying to ship something this season in the US. And there may or may not be a customs delay. Since you posted this thread on a Friday, and two days before Christmas, yeah, it'll likely be delayed.

Since all of you post Hedge Fund threads, I have one too.

How to start one?

I have 700k capital, have 10 years experience trading stocks with a good annual return that exceeded S&P in every year. What is necessary to open my own fund?
11 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>1684434
Google it.
There's a lot of hoops to jump through plus you can only take money from people with at least $1 mil net worth or a very high annual income.
>>
>>1684455
I just found it on wikihow. Does the same regulation count for other investment fonds? What would be the easiest form to incorporate.
>>
>>1684434
>>1684455

was under the impression the fund needed 1m to start.
