Reminder that pitbulls are harmless and it is always the owner, never EVER the dog.

>mexicans
>named their pitbull "Scarface"
>trying to make it wear a fucking sweater
The dog did NOTHING wrong.
>trying to force a dog into a sweater
The number of chihuahuas that I've been bitten by when trying to put a harness on them is ridiculous. putting sweaters on dogs is kinda asking for it many times imo
>>2291139
also this. I've worked with PDD dogs for a long time. I'd say that more than breed, it's a trend of idiots who don't train or keep their dogs properly and name them retarded shit like Killer or Death. and usually owned by really low income or homeless people. The vast majority of dog bites on people happened when the dog is owned by a homeless person. Just last week had to catch pole a rottie/gsd cross that mauled a dude and his dog that walked by their homeless camp. The owner is a homeless teenager and fucking named the dog convict. Not the first time the dog has attacked either. It's like a self-fulfilling prophecy.
He dindu nuffin, he a good dog
>SO's family got an adopted dog
>may be some sort of small poodle mix
>barks a lot when we enter the house
>when introduced to him, I sit down and give him tons of love and he loves it
>whenever I leave, he runs like a bat out of hell to me and tries to bite
>yesterday, he got me as I was walking out the door and took a 3/4 inch chunk of my leg with him
>he didn't even bark, just swiftly and silently attacked my leg as I was literally one foot out the door
Why does he do that and how do we solve it?
>>2291053
also, dog has done the same to SO's extended family members when they visit

get that saucer out from under it, its keeping the soil to saturated. If you need the saucer to catch the water try and get something under the pot so its not sitting in the water
I have quite a lot of spare time, have no issues with maintenance such as cleaning and feeding. I would love to be able to play with them and hold them often. Nothing TOO expensive, and nothing large, small pets only, and I want to keep it/them in my bedroom. So far I'm thinking of rats, gerbils, lizards or snakes. Any ideas /an/?
>>2290985
Rat's are your best bet as they like to cuddle, hangout and are smart. Gerbils are fun but hard to tame as they're extremely add and extremely curious.
rats are ideal
too bad about their lifespan
If bonding with you is important you definitely should get a mammal, reptiles at best tolerate you.
Of mammals rats and maybe degus are the most affectionate and intelligent.
The fate of Lucky, a half-starved dog found locked in a crate at an empty Smyrna house, has prompted a firestorm on social media and an outpouring of support for his rehabilitation.
(The photos at the top left shows Lucky before the incident).
You can read all about him here>> http://www.newseveryhour.com/2016/12/starving-smyrna-dog-prompts-social.html

get the fuck off my board /pol/
My cat has an upper respitory infection and we took her to the vet. However, when we tried to leave, the "receptionist" said I had to make a payment ON THE SPOT from a previous payment which wasn't due until this wednesday. Thankfully the vet came in and intervened and we managed to get the medication my cat needed.
Anymore bad vet experiences?
>Pic related, its my cat. She's now managing to eat and drink after three days of URI.
>someone said I should pay them the money I owed them
>this is wrong somehow
>>2290945
The payment wasn't due yet though and I didn't have enough money at the time. My boss is late on my payment.
>>2290943
I hope your vet euthanizes your cat by mistake.

not as sad as Marley and Me
I remember watching this as a kid, and I remember it making me really sad. But I think Hachi made me more sad than either Marley and Me or Plague Dogs
That scene genuinely shocked me.
I like the movie but Watership Down had more of an impact. The book a great too.
The black rabbit still creeps me out.
>>2290884
>getting more sad when watching Hachi than when watching Plague Dogs
Did you skip like half the latter movie lol

>>2290786
Hard to believe that the world's largest cave wasn't discovered until 1991, and surveyed until 2009.
With all our advancements in technology it took a hunter wanting out of the rain to make the biggest discovery in the caving world.

Because caves are a hassle and let's be honest--how many actually have treasure in them?

My cat starts licking the air with it's eyes closed when I pet it back sometimes. What's up with that? Should I stop when that happens?
>>2290537
My cat did this, it's not a problem
My dog does it when I scratch above his tail.
>>2290537
It means you should video that in action and become internets famous!
why do some dogs like blueberry's and bananas and other fruit like that such weird dogs lol
>>2290371
Because they see you eating it, and they know it's food.
>>2290371
Every dog in my family has loved apples
I have a dog that likes carrots and will grudgingly eat broccoli. He's weird about other fruits and vegetables, though, and won't touch them, but that's just because he's an old fusspot.
My other dog loves berries. Blueberries, strawberries, blackberries. He also likes sweet apples, not cooking apples, will tolerate carrot, enjoys pumpkin, has mixed feelings about broccoli, and likes tomato and banana. All of these are offered in very small quantities, and as a rare treat, not as an every day thing, given that dogs are facultative carnivores and not true omnivores.
They both enjoy fresh spring grass, but not so much at other times of years.
I'll tell you a thing: dogs like sweet things. Unlike cats, which don't have the tastebuds to even taste if something is sweet because of their pure meat diet, dogs do. And many of them have a sweet tooth.
>tfw doggo turns soon
That's pretty old for dogs right? I'm worried about her leaving me
If you're worried about her turning, just turn her back over.

Is a whole chicken enough bone and meat for a dog?
Planning on stuffing them with organs and green tripe and doing a week ahead for my dog.

You should always consult a vet a raw food diet expert. You always have the possibility of causing malnutrition or even some sort of nutrient poisoning.
