Variant of a Orb Weaver I'd guess. Is there a web near it, and is it sticky as fuck?

Yes and yes. It was hanging right in a doorway, so I moved it outside. Never seen those markings before.

Neither, I just took a swing based on body and leg shape. They're stubby little fuckers, and they're everywhere in summer.

I'm pet sitting a few jack russels and some canaries for a friend. Do the birds need a high temperature to survive? I hate running the heat and turned it off but it's 58 degrees in here now and I realized maybe that's not too good for the birds. Does it matter?

Yeah I found 57 different responses you fucking retard. I'd prefer a direct answer from someone with some experience.
>>

> Yeah I found 57 different responses
Which is exactly what every google result gives you. Thousands of results that you, the allegedly intelligent human, are supposed to investigate and average based on what you can find. Are you admitting you are incapable of using google to source information? Considering one of the largest canary forums on the planet is in the top hits, it appears you are.

Why did these people even leave their pets with you in the first place?

Just keep the house a comfortable temperature for yourself, and the birds will be good you useless fuckjob.

She's sleeping right now, so I was able to grab a picture. Is her wound supposed to look like this or has it opened up? I see where she's stitched up but below that it's looking kind of nasty. I wasn't able to get in contact with the vet, but I'm gonna take her there tomorrow. Just wanted to get y'all's opinion

It should be closed. Is she biting at it?
>>
>>2293570
She was licking at it when she got home so I went to go get a cone, so she hasn't been able to scratch or lick it at all. She did jump up on the bed a couple times which is what I think made it open (if it is open) like that.
>>
>>2293586
Idk if you have baby in house but maybe a diaper? Something non-restricting but will protect it from infection till you can visit vet.

You could cut its head off and send it in for a DNA test
>>
>>2293509

That's extreme but will work. I did two DNA tests for my dog and it was just cheek swabs.

"here's my dog's severed head... what kind of dog is he? can you attach it back to him now so he will be OK? idk lol"

It's happening. There were six doves in a line and a hand with six fingers pointed toward them. Doves symbolize love, and six is the number for man. A hand symbolizes the hand as a sign of judgment

Hello, it's my first time posting. I am worried about my hairless rat. She is over a year old and my two rats are the first cage pets i've ever had. The first skin problem she had was a black head zit on her forehead (included in photo) but now she had a discolored bulge directly over her eye. it is discolored pink, purple and red, and about the size as her eyeball. I hope it isnt a big deal, but i am worried. Please help

You need to take your rat to a vet. There is no home remedy we can give you. Take it to a vet.

I wanna shave my friends Maine Coon because she's old and can't care for her fur properly and gets knots. It's also hot where I live and she wants to always be in air conditioning. Will human clippers do the job or will I need special animal groomer clippers? She's pretty chill having me cut her hair so I don't think a groomer is necessary plus I used to shave my dog a lot.

I don't know if this is the right place to ask but I need some advice from people anybody that understands animal cruelty laws within the UK.

I have a family member that I'm completely estranged from whom very recently acquired a pair of kittens recently for her adolescent son that she's barred from living with.
Given her history I didn't have high hopes for the future of the kittens, but what I learned a few hours ago has absolutely sickened me. After having the kittens for less than two weeks, a few nights ago after one of the kittens shit on her sofa, she threw them out onto the street, in the middle of the night, and it is baltic in the UK right now. I expect the kittens have probably long since frozen to death.
I knew she was bad, but I honestly didn't expect this from her. I never expected this.

I'm so incensed I can't sit here and not do anything about it, but since I don't speak to her and live quite far away from her, the only evidence I have that the kittens ever existed is pictures of them that she uploaded to her Instagram.

Is there anything I can do?

it shit on the sofa

what do you expect her to do with disgusting creatures like that?
>>

This. I would have shot them. I've killed 3 dogs for shitting on my floor.
>>
>>2293327
>>2293331
Satire aside, the kittens were only a few weeks old, she murdered babies because she couldn't be fucked toilet training them. I don't to what degree she could be punished given that the only evidence they existed in the first place is first hand account and photographic documentation.

Hey /an/ new visitor to your board here. I've heard a lot about the Belgian Malnois, and have hung out with them before. They seem pretty fun. Do you think I should get one?

Missing the following fields:

>time animal will spend alone

That said, I've heard that BM are shit tier house pets unless you give them a job to do or are insanely physically active- then they're great.

they seem like a pain in the ass desu

but then again, if you have the time to train them properly:

Please don't breed your dog just to produce "cute puppies."

There are already so many dogs in shelters and so many other things to consider when breeding other than looks.

Not sure if this would be a good place to ask, but I've been wanting to do a 2d construction and management game similar to Prison Architect and Rim World, but where you control an animal shelter. I am in charge of the basic game designs, drawing up all the people and animals, and I also have to give the development team information on instances (how likely x is to occur if y is present, etc, in the form of percentages preferably.). I have a ton of ideas, but unfortunately the team is pretty clueless about the workings of a shelter and are generally unhelpful with bouncing ideas. On the flip side, when I talk to animal lovers, they don't quite understand the video game aspect of the question. So I guess that leads me to my main question; how well do you think an in depth shelter management game would do if reasonably priced? The rest of the team is convinced it won't do well and are just in as a side job, since there doesn't seem to be much of an overlap.

Make it mobile and market it middle aged women, the type that actually run shelters.
Rainbow bridge, fur babies ect ect.

This. And make it so a portion of the microtransactions are donated. That will guarantee a healthy influx of people.

You'll have to figure out how long a teenager can choke an average dog to scare it enough without killing it.

Sup /an/, I got a question.
Are reptiles, snakes to be specific, capable of being trained, feeling affection, recognizing its owner et cetera?
I genuinly don't know and I'd like to know.
Been dreaming about having a pet snake for years now, thought about buying a little ball python.

Yes anon, they do. Otherwise people would just avoid the whole scenario and keep a sausage in their tanks. Would be much cheaper on upkeep..

>capable of being trained
Depends on what you mean. Your snake isn't going to learn tricks, but it can make associations and you can tame a skittish snake.
>feeling affection
They sure won't show it if they do. They'll tolerate handling, but they don't crave it or need it. If you want a bond, a snake is not for you.
>recognizing its owner
Once again, affection is not in the picture, but they can learn to prefer a person who feeds them and handles them regularly.

Is there any indisputable evidence that T Rex did or did not have feathers, yet?

I hope it didn't that would look gay
>>
In short
>All dinosaurs are ancestors to birds, a species of which every member had feathers
>All closely related species to Tyrannosaurus are genetically related to dinosaurs that have feathers
>Direct ancestors of the Tyrannosaurus species had feathers

>tl;dr
There is no reason Tyrannosaurus wouldn't have feathers. People being butthurt about it doesn't change the objective reality.
