I'm currently passing tests and entry exams for two jobs. If I can get either it'll be fine, but in the event that I get offered both, which one should I go for?
My options are:
>Train conductor
>Prison guard
They roughly have the same salary but maybe more bonuses with the train gig although it has hours that are all over the place whereas the prison job might be a steadier shift.
Which one would you go for?

I keep looking up Acid Reflux, but all I get is the chronic disease. You know, the shit that you need to change your diet for...
I only get Acid Reflux on rare occasion. Sometimes, while digesting food, stomach acid will flow up my esophagus and up into my throat. I just drink water and wait until it goes away, and it does. And it doesn't come back until some other random time...
I don't think have Acid Reflux Disease, but what is going on here? Is it just indigestion? Or do I actually have this disease? Does this sort of thing just happen to people at random times?

I need to move and my girlfriend's roommate is moving out, so she suggested I move in. I thought about it for a while and after looking for other places and not finding anything I agreed that maybe it's worth a shot.
The problem is that it recently came out that she was expecting us to be sharing a bed when I was expecting to have her roommate's room.
Now things are a bit awkward since we obviously had different perceptions of the relationship.

How do you chat up women at parties?
I'm being invited to a birthday party and I either know people directly or know them vaguely from school, and that's all well and good. No particular awkward "omg i dont know anybody"-ness happening.
However: There are a few people I don't know also coming, one in particular showed up to a bar night we were having at the tail end. She's a catch, single, and is basically my new goal to try and make a girlfriend out of.
But I've also never really hooked up or otherwise flirted/gotten numbers/whatever at parties. I mostly show up and am a hoot to drink with. How do I work this right?

I've been with my girlfriend for nearly half a year and all that time and before that, she's been on birth control pills (we call it "the pill" here) and she keeps finding ways to fall more in love with me.
This girl was probably lying through her teeth about the pill thing, and I think that you can do a lot better than her.
Oil up your bicycle and take it out every day or couple of days, that'll keep your mind off her.

So yeah, I believe there was attraction from her. In fact, we only met because her friend tapped me on the shoulder, said my friend thinks you're hot and asked for my number!
I panic and worry way too much about my parents and my girlfriend's well-being. Everytime they feel stress or anxiety themselves I freak out inside and then let it out on them unintentionally. How do I not be anxious about them? I just feel scared and helpless when I can't be there for them.

I was born into a bilingual household, and I grew up learning Spanish and English. However, I quit actually using Spanish in late elementary school, and my study of the language became limited to middle/high school classes.
I still have the grammatical/basic terminological skeleton of the language. How can I go about becoming fully fluent in Spanish, with my current knowledge base? I want to become a freelance interpreter.

I just had a similar issue with japanese and learning how to say phrases was more helpful than the words themselves.
