Is that all? Can you buy / add more games?
Would like a Harvest Moon on SNES Mini.
Also why the fuck is the flashcart for SNES such as the SD2SNES so friggin expensive?
You can buy a SNES console and 2-3 carts for that price.
>>4189523
>Is that all?
Yes, unless you "hack" it.
>Can you buy more games
No.
>add more games / Harvest Moon
Additional games can be added to the NES mini after hacking it. It's probable that a similar procedure will be possible with the SNES mini, but it remains to be seen if and how it will work out.
>You can buy a SNES console and 2-3 carts for that price.
Which will let you play exactly 2-3 games. Flashcarts have their price, but they quickly make up for it.
Honestly, you could have just googled all of this, frogposter.
About tho play Ocarina of Time for the third time since beating the game twice back in January 98 when i got the game on crhistmas.
Should i play it on my LCD or Sony CRT? also, after im done with it next ill play Metroid Prime for the second time since i got it on release day then, ill be playing it on my Cube so should i play it on CRT or LCD?

Your CRT definitely.
Go for it! Should be a fun time.
Can we talk about 3D action platformers? I really miss these, and I just recently found out a bunch of 6th generation games through NitroRad and am currently playing through Sphinx, which is a great game.
So underrated 3D platformers thread. Talk about your favorites, trash the shitty ones, and discuss the genre.
Recently played through Jak & Daxter, It feels like a natural progression from Crash Bandicoot. Too bad the actual PS2 Crash games were not a lot like it.

Rocket Robot on Wheels was a hell of a platformer that is underrated. And it does a great job using physics in several objectives.
>>4189020
I remember almost buying it, but instead I got Ready 2 Rumble for some reason.
I missed out on basically every N64 platformer when I was a kid, I made some really poor choices when it came to buying a game.
What are your opinions on this game /vr/?
it's alright
You got a secret bonus point!

New record.
Anyone know of any Amiga & C64 games that are actually worth playing? I have a preference for Japanese games from arcades, consoles and computers like MSX & X68000 since I feel the games there are more polished and interesting.
On the C64 side, I liked Super Pipeline, Mayhem in Monsterland, and Real of Impossibility. With Amiga kinda liked Turrican 2 but I feel the game is a bit too flawed and not as polished as Super & Mega Turrican.
Any genre is fine, though i'd like to keep it locked to exclusives. Arcade/console to PC ports are fine if they have any real significance to them.
I'm confused by this post. Your taking of Japanese arcade games as what you like. Post a picture xof Wonderboy from the mastersystem and then reel off a list of not arcade games.
Just gey some roms and play them. Jeebus.
Batman the movie wasn't bad.
Last ninja.

...or lurk the dozens of Amiga threads from the archive, that's still relevant information.
Let us know what your setup consists of and what your average manual lag score is on 240p test suite.
Pic related is GenPlusDroid, running on a moto e 2nd gen. 2.5 frames I'd Less than I thought it would be.
>>4188631
the manual lag test is basically meaningless for anything other than a super rough idea though.
Fuck off emu faggot.
I play on a Sony WEGA Trinitron KV32-FS100
but I play over composite because if I wanted broken dithering and modded consoles I'd just emulate on PC like a real faggot
What are some games that are essentially a series of boss fights?
Street fighter 2010
Radiant Silvergun
King of Monsters 2 (Arcade, not SNES)
Punch Out!
Yie Air Kung Fu
Karateka
Battle Clash (the SNES games where you fight mechs - lightgun only)
Megaman Power Battle/Power Fighters
Contra Hard Corps
Can we PLEASE stop shilling bad games just because they're obscure. This game has easily been the worst experience for me in a while
No. Get over it.

That wiki is hardly even worked on by anyone from 4chan anymore OP you're better off asking leddit and I don't mean that in the usual insulting way most people do here, they've seriously been the main contributors to that wiki for years now.
>>4188591
I thought it was alright. Specially love the haunted mansion level.
I don't know if anyone here has played this game before, but it is really addictive. I think it would appeal to people who like puzzles.
I'm playing Genesis version.

I never fall for it because I suck, and I'm happy just to sink any ball in any pocket.

best pool game ever
got a sequel on Genesis called Minnesota Fats Pool Legend
Is Yahoo JP Auctions the safest bet when it comes to purchasing Dreamcast games?
>Yahoo Auctions
You wish.
>>4188623
Hm?
>>4188587
No. Safest space would be the ball pit in the safe space at a california university.
I played Habbo Club since 2011, but now I stopped playing because someone inside broke my heart out of Habbo. So ... does anyone have good moments inside? Did you meet someone in habbo and then in real life? If not, at least upload memes

uhm...I think you're on the wrong board. maybe even the wrong site.
Is Dink Smallwood a good game?
Not really
IIRC even the dev admitted that the later parts weren't properly balanced and he just increased the enemy's stats to make it seem harder.
The bizarre humor on the other hand was great.

It was unfinished, but passable. The community was pretty rad back in the day too. I still wonder what it would have been like had all their ideas actually been implemented, though.
>>4188152
It's worth playing through to the end. I don't think it takes all that long either.

Super Mario World Ultimate Mayhem 2.5
>posting a hack from 2003
>calling it shitty just because hacking SMW was new back then
anyway...Brutal Mario if it wasn't for the ASM
I have to agree that looks exceptionally shitty.
Well done!
I've only played Marina World and JUMP.
The other ones I've played just don't have any memorable or clever level design.
Is anyone here good at this game, or at least like it a lot? I've been trying to play through all 9 levels without dying so I can unlock some other characters, but if you mess up and fall off the edge once it resets your score to 0. Any advice?
Also general Intelligence Qube thread.

I think I played some demo of it a long time ago (on one of the euro demo cds), but I don't remember it very well. I remember that it got awful scores in the reviews, but I thought it looked really pretty in the screeenshots.
I guess I'll try to find the demo so I can give it another try.
This one is big on my "I love this game but suck at it" list. I sadly don't think I can be of much help.
>>4187712
it's a fun game, considered a classic on the PS. the demo is pretty much the whole game, that's probably why it didn't get good scores, plus the fact that review scores were actually critical of games back then and <7/10 rated games weren't considered to be garbage that should be avoided.
