I really like the Destiny line. I hope they bring bigger vehicles for 2 and cool stuff like the spider tank, and hopefully mega will pull it's head out of it's ass and distribution will improve.

How do you feel about this series of toys, /toy/? I wanted to do some donations this Christmas, and these guys look like good candidates. Can't really beat $10 for that size. Do kids actually like them? Do you have any experience with them? Does your wife's son love them?

Is U-Wing for $60 a waste of money?
Has awful proportions, ugly grey box sticking out on the bottom, and can't fit more than 3 guys in it (including pilot) even tho it's supposed to be a troop transport.

I always wanted these, really badly. But I was at that age where I was super self conscious about having toys so I never got them or asked my parents for them. But now that I don't care it seems I'm a little late. These things seem to have gone up in price insanely (I've only really looked on Amazon and Ebay a tiny bit) and I keep hearing stories about them falling apart. The Halo 5 and 4 figures just don't appeal to me since I like the armor designs of Halo 3 a whole lot more.

Yea I had the halo 3 master chief, it took forever to find him. Sadly he fell apart 2 weeks later, first his ass armor came off, then his legs completely came undone from the torso, then his waist and crotch all came undone. Never played with, only displayed, but I think that goes for all McFarlane toys.

I never owned the 12" ones but just recently I picked up a couple old halo 3 figures MOC, a red EOD and a green Security. Goddamn are the joints garbage, security was fine but EOD is completely fucked none of the joints in his arms work, none. I managed to free his right and left shoulders and at least twist his right elbow into a decent position, the hinge is still fused though, and the left is still fucked right wrist is fine, left is broken and I'm working on pinning it.
Hey guys I'm wondering if you can help me. I'm looking for a ninja turtle action figure with a crystal on the chest and a interchangeable head... Was a ver cool figure and I think in the crystal they had Japanese writing. This image is the only thing I can find that's similar.

A friend of mine pointed out to me recently how a lot of cartoonists/animators online he follows have large figure collections, just like I do; so basically everyone he knows of that collects also happens to be an artist.

I sculpt for fun, used to paint and have a background in game-art but I wouldnt call myself an artist anymore. I dabbled in customs a bit and used to sell customized vinyl figures but my job has pretty much vamped my time. Given me much more of an opportunity to collect. No ones paying me for my art though so I won't refer to myself as an artist atm.
