I really like the Destiny line. I hope they bring bigger vehicles for 2 and cool stuff like the spider tank, and hopefully mega will pull it's head out of it's ass and distribution will improve.

That is indeed a Titan, but those blue pieces are meant for the Warlocks. There are grenades in the game, but Mega hasn't really put any in any sets yet.

That blue thing that comes with the Warlocks is supposed to be the ball of energy that they hold in their neutral stance on the character/status screen.

Some people call it the Nova bomb, but the nova bomb is ball of purple energy.

Its kind of weird, to be honest, because none of the Warlocks actually use that ball of energy for anything, so the closest anyone can come up with is the Nova bomb, but it is the wrong color. Really, its just kind of meant to be there to look cool, I guess, and show that the Warlocks are sort of masters of energy and whatever.

For most of those the cpdes don't work anyway. It was an issue with the first series where any figure could have any code. I don't think there's feel guides. Given how awesome the figures are - and even how well they've done with less realistic licenses like the TMNT cartoon and Minions - there really isn't anything that I don't think would be improved by having Mega make its stuff.

They only license thag I truly see as mega is Metal Gear. Lots of vehicles and different kind of soldiers. You could have troop packs with three soldiers and a member of foxhound/deadcell/cobras. This. The average WoW player doesn't buy toys. I made a long argument like a year and a half or longer ago on one of these threads about why WoW failed.

Essentially it comes down to the demo that actually plays WoW (not kids who would ask their parents to buy toys) and the failure in execution (players of WoW who would buy toys can't get toys like their characters).

WoW could possibly work now with the new Mega Construx. There's a basic buck sculpt on which armor and accessories can be added and changed. Articulation is also better and quality of bricks is better.

I've been working on a base for my Destiny figs. 4 levels, huge, the only flat place big enough for it in my apartment is right in the middle of my desk.
It's mostly 3 TMNT Sewer Lairs and 2 CoD Dome Battlegrounds, with bits and pieces from other sets, though I'd like to get at least 1 more of each main set to keep expanding.

The biggest problem with trying to recreate Joe stuff with these figures is the lack of easy-to-get red pieces. To make Vipers I think I'm just going to paint these guys' punches and grenades red and their visors silver and call them close enough.

And you're right, they do look a lot like Vipers. Just paint the visor silver, and the hands, lower arms and shoulder straps red, and change the lower legs to black boots.

I've got plans for some specific Joes I'm just missing pieces atm. There's a lot of stuff coming out that will be perfect for certain characters. Luckily any CoD figure can basically just be a Joe as is as far my headcanon goes.

I masked off their forearms last night and I think the extra red really helps to sell them as Vipers.

Thanks. I actually think that shade of blue goes better with the gold than the lighter blue, and it makes CC look more serious and threatening. But I'll definitely be making a lighter blue version of CC as well when I get the parts. And I plan to make Xamot too. Strider would also be easy to create since he's basically Tomax with a scarf and some rearranged parts.
