I'm SURE an action figure or statue of this beautiful fucker must have existed at some point, but I cant find one anywhere

even MONTAGE DRAGON got a figure, I dont even remember where this thing appeared and I watched 5ds last year

How is this allowed?
Hey /toy/, I'm not really a toy guy, but I saw this (as well as the Kaiman they're making) and I think I need to have them. Anyone been following these or own them? From what I'm seeing it looks like Kaiman is already out, so if anyone has it I'd appreciate a very brief review.
Also, anyone know if they're making anyone past Kaiman and Shin? Having a little Shin and Noi on my shelf would be so great.
>>6269475
Holy shit!!! Any idea if he comes with an unmasked head?
> Having a little Shin and Noi on my shelf would be so great.
Same. If Noi isn't properly scaled I will be pissed though
>>6269592
>>6269475
I decided not to get Kaiman and I'm kind of happy because now I can get Shin, who in my opinion is a way better (and less costly) figure.
Really looking forward to more Dorohedoro stuff.
So my two best friends got me this for my birthday coming up on the 18th. Ever since I saw it I'd been a little curious about it but avoided it cause I don't like trendy Baby's First Weather shit like Ashley Woods does, so I was a little hesitant to really check this out. Happily I can say it's much better than I thought it ever could be. Before we have NECAnon come in and shit all over it, these are I would say a little smaller than a GI Joe.

Extremely happy with the packaging, it has a dust sleeve.

Metal gear series action figure appreciation thread
This should be the smallest thread ever.

6" Quiet figure when??
My Revoltech Snek is lonely :(
>>6251968
Probably should've snagged one of these when it was going for ~60, fuck paying 100+ now.
>>6251979
All my Sneks are lonely. We didn't get nearly enough supporting characters in the smaller lines. PAK had a pretty impressive roster, but those are crazy expensive now and not all that great.
Now with all the Konami bs going on, I doubt we'll see another MGS line, at least for a long time.
What's a good alternative for a Phicen body for something like pic related? The whole seamless-body thing is a real turnoff.
what are you a faggot or something, i nearly fapped from the thumbnail. give her another wristband and you'd have no sign of joints anywhere
>>6248852
Suicide Squad Harley immediately comes to mind.
>>6248852
I figure a Play Toy body could work.
Lately I was talking to someone about the old Digimon V-pet and I ended up wondering what happened to V-pets. Seems like they stopped making digimon ones ages ago and they only barely still make tamagotchis. I know they're the most childish shit ever but are there still any good digimon-esque virtual pets still around? I'd love to have one again.
>>6246716
You're in luck OP, they're releasing the 20th Anni version in waves. The order period for the next wave ends on the 27th and ships out in July
It'll have the rosters from the v1-v6, I think? You don't need two to battle anymore, as you can battle with one. They're also including an online element.

Tamagotchi has slowed, but it's not dead yet. They did close doors to their last permanent store in.. Harajuku, I think? They've switched over to pop-up stores.
They're currently on the series called "M!X", where breeding has genetics now so they can have features of both parents. A Sanrio version is releasing soon.

I really wonder how a full color tamagotchi would do if released outside of Japan (I got the English id version, but even that was limited and way hard to find). I have a Tamagotchi P and a bunch of the Pierces and loved it. I hate that their revival attempt a few years ago, if it could be called that, just just a huge black and white clunker.
Although I do think modern Western audiences might balk at a 40-60$ Tamagotchi. It's been a 20$ kid's toy for so long... maybe they need a hot new app to get back into the public consciousness and then try a release of a modern Tamagotchi.

that sounds a little more fair than the digivices

Here's some tips from the previous threads:
Beginners: practice on cheap figures first.
For sculpting on figures: use 2-part epoxy putty like Aves apoxie or fixit.
For tools: try a basic carving/sculpting set like the kind arts & crafts stores have, and calipers for symmetry.
Dental tools have also been said to work well.
Also, using a Dremel is recommended. Minimites (the small $20-25 ones) are fine for starting out, but the battery life is poor. Upgrade to a corded one only if you want to get deeper into customizing. They are useful for stuff outside of the hobby though, so it's a good investment regardless.
For paints: use acrylics. Paint in multiple, thin coats. Brands like Vallejo/P3/Citadel are recommended, because of pigment quality.
Use a sealer when finished to protect your work. There are matte varieties and sealers that give a glossy look. As with painting, use multiple thin coats.
A flex shaft attachment on a Dremel is a godsend and relatively inexpensive. The grinding shield is also pretty useful, but you can improvise one using a cut open soda bottle.
Also, there is a guide in the works, by mellow

Remember those old Kamen Rider figures with removable armor that had unmasked heads? I kinda want to make some unmasked alternate heads for some of my riders, but I don't know what to use.

Whoa, when did they make a Will Arnett action figure?
Wow, that dude payed $100 for those 3rd party starts wars back drop panels just so he could take shitty photos.

Mighty Max thread?
>What sets do you have

Man I would love a return to toys like this. I still have nearly everything released under this line and the sheer imagination on display is impressive. It seems like any micro toy to come out in the last 15 years has been both few and far between and extremely cheap and lacking in detail when they do come around.
>>6209539
Also toys these days almost never have blood or anything too scary these days like MM did.
Apparently the stuff isn't 'kid-friendly'
>>6209539
I used to play with Mighty Max while my sister bought Polly Pocket. Some time ago, I found out that Mattel recently brought back Polly Pocket...as 3" dress-up dolls.
It's just not the same anymore...
Are there any realistic water pistols that are better than regular water pistols?
Only thing that comes to mind are the old, battery-powered Entertech water guns from the mid-to-late '80s.
>>6274103
I have not seen reviews on these yet, but if the line goes further there is potential for some more powerful realistic looking water guns in the Walking Dead line.
>>6274300
Man, no matter how popular and successful Buzz Bee get they still look bargain-bin.
