Self Replenishment at EX wouldn't be toooo much bigger since even at A+ it's only a small amount per turn. Maybe something around...20-40 units of prana every 10-20 seconds or so? That's about the max storage of the average human Magus so it seems pretty right for it.

Self Modification, think of it as basically shapeshifting, even into pretty sizeable monsters, but it takes time to do. Like super plastic surgery. You can graft other peoples bodies into your own to gain their abilities and knowledge, though you'd only be able to take in so many, and probably do all sorts of freaky bioengineering shit with your body with just a few minutes work.

God Slayer just increases the damage you do to Divine beings. Counter Hero just applies an automatic magical debuff to the stats of any heroic when they try to fight you.

I love MTG finance. I am a new player who
follows the markets quite regularly. It bothers
me that there isn't a speculation thread up 24/7

Speculation has allowed me to trade up and build a decent collection very quickly, I have only been playing for 6 months but have almost doubled my collection value every 2 months strictly through trade.

Lands are always in demand and with each new block you will see new decks. New decks may cause a spike in existing lands. If the land is playable in multiple formats it won't
lose very much value post rotation and if it is a first print it has potential to increase exponentially.

My friend gave me this advice and based on market history he was 100% correct as I am sure most of you know.

How do you know what cards you should speculate on when a new set is released?

When AER was released there were tons of
people speculating on Oath to Ajani, however
multiple different sources were calling the card
overrated. On the other end I saw many other
"professional" MTG players picking Walking

market. It is more interesting to me then the

of mana for a small cost are a good
investment. (I bought a playset for about

another 2 Saheeli for 10$ ea CDN. I ended up
trading my 2 Saheeli for 2 Chandra, Torch of
Defiance (which I think has potential to go up
based on initial spec as well as the advice of
my friends who are long term players) . I also
managed to pick up 2 Mox Opals for 2 Saheeli
Rai's plus a few standard staples to make up
the difference. I made this trade during the
initial Cheeri0's hype. With demand the card
has risen 40% from my initial trade value.
Currently debating on getting rid of them.

I also picked up Paradox Engine for 5.99
(CDN) a piece because I heard it was a great
casual card and many speculators state that
casual/EDH cards can make you some
serious money. They are now sitting at 11.99
(CDN) a piece.

Research has payed off and as long as you
are willing to do a little bit it can go a long
ways.

These are just a few examples of my success,
but like I said I am building up a decent
collection very quickly and I think many
players underestimate the collection building
potential.

Please feel free to shit on what I say, but I
think threads like this have a place on /tg/ to
benefit all of us.

What's the basic premise for the campaign.
Simple answer for that is enough for character creation session and after that I have much more tools to move onwards with.

I usually like to think how I can allow every PC to use their various strengths in the session, give them options that make everyone turn and look at that one guy who can do the job. It's also good to mix up what kinds of things you're doing. My first campaign I GM'd for fell into a cycle of "go here, kill cultists, find some stuff out, follow straight-forward leads, kill more cultists, etc.". It's a good idea to mix up different types of sessions (investigative, combat, social, sneaky, etc.), along with how they tie into the overall plot. Your players will probably want breaks from the main plot, they'll want to explore the world and interact with the characters in it, so build those situations into your plans.

You can't kill Gods til they have Stats.

Strategy 1 is to find what makes them Gods and stop that. Ancient Artifact? Break it. They're worshipped? Cull the worshipers/Make up a new God and convince them to worship that. They eat fruit of the gods? Burn the tree.

Strategy 2 is to just become Gods yourselves. If it's something that was a one-time boost and they're just Gods now, find out what it was and then do it yourself. Some kind of ritual or test they took? Go do it yourself, if nobody has stats its either a stalemate or they spontaneously grow Stats for the purpose of Combat


Tell me more about the campaign you're in. I'm worried your GM might be one of my old players and these legendary heroes are my players old characters

Because why not? It helps protect their squishy bits and it doesn't impede their ability to play an instrument.

Of course, if that isn't their thing, they can always invest in evasion instead. With a bard, you aren't pigeonholed into any role if you're creative enough.
