We're having a bit of a laugh here, over the idea of a humans getting a feat naturally in D&D, so a baby having a feat upon birth.
What would be the most dangerous or funniest feat for a baby to come out with?
>Pic reverse counter anti non-related
>>51780111
Exotic Weapon Proficiency: Umbilical Cord
For 5e, Magic Initiate.
The cantrips at will would be a mess, but the 1st level spell once a day could easily be the most deadly.
Or, amusing. A baby with Mage Hand and Unseen Servant could be pretty funny, especially because a baby can be carried by the Unseen Servant.

You'll be fine. Magnus isn't released yet.
>>51783078
Post list I'm curious.
What do you see as the most essential and iconic archetypes for classes for a D&D-style fantasy game?
Some friends and I are pondering doing our own system (With some of the same design philosophies as 4e) and one of the things we are debating is 'What would people want in a corebook'.
Exact names/D&D mechanics isn't what we are thinking about so much as the overall archtypes they fill.
>>51782296
You nee:
tank (fighter, paladin or barbarian, ranger)
Dps (sorccerer, wizard or druid)
Support (everything else such as rogue or cleric or bard)
>>51782359
Support , Utility, and Face are three different things.
Fighter
Cleric
Thief
Magic User
As in the subject. Something that fucks up the immersion, balance, encourages powergaming, whatever. I'm curious.
Cross class.

What are some good systems for a Superhero roleplay?
>>51776560
I've been looking at Mighty Six. it uses the Mini Six system (which is free)
its basically a simpler WEG d6. Want to use it for an X-men game.
Marvel Super Heroes RPG/ FASERIP is nice and simple I hear and all the shit is on the internet.
Mutants and Masterminds is probably better for people that refuse to not use a D20
Godlike/Wild Talents looked interesting.
HERO, Wild Talents (ORE), Icons (Fate-ish), GURPS, Marvel Heroic.
>>51776560
Pic related has a nice translation of he d20 format to a superhero-esque context but the list of powers/abilities/etc. Is shitty and you basically have to rework everything
>"Hey anon, can I play a character that is not combat-oriented?"
>No problem, I'll give you some non-combat challenges
On Gameday:
>As you're chasing the vampire, he cuts a nurse's throat and tells you that you're either saving her or-
>"I'm attacking him!"
>Eh... are you sure about that?
>"Yes! I attack him!"
>one quick PC asswhooping later
>"Anon, your game is garbage"
>Well, it's your fault for attacking a powerful foe when you can't fight
>"Whatever, if I wanted to get my ass kicked by your NPCs, I'd go play Pathfinder"

THIS JUST IN:
Players are brainless and don't know what they want
>"My character is a veteran of innumerable conflicts, and is renowned as a master strategist who always uses the battlefield to his advantage."
>Okay, the ogre swings at Rolf and (rolls dice) hits him for 30 damage.
>"I attack." (rolls)
>You miss. The ogre swings at Rolf and (rolls dice) hits him for 22 damage.
>"I attack." (rolls)
>You miss. The ogre swings and (rolls dice)... Sorry anon, Rolf is dead.
>"THIS IS BULLSHIT, YOU NEVER EVEN GAVE ME A CHANCE!" (sobs)
Alright guys, I think I fucked up BIG TIME.
Okay, so we were on a quest to go capture this genius from this city, but one thing lead to another, and we ended up laying siege to the whole damn place. Eventually, when we got inside, we tried looking for him, and had to deal with a bunch of plebian attacks and them throwing shit and it eventually just got so annoying that I started just slashing through them at one point.
Anyway, when we finally got to where the guy lived, and tried to make him come with us. He kept refusing, insisting that we couldn't take him as he was busy with some math problem or something, I didn't care, and tried to give him a little "poke" with my sword, telling him to get a move on, and ended up slicing an artery. Now he's fucking dead and the DM is super pissed and called for a hiatus.
I think I'm gonna get kicked.
>ITT: shit that never happened
>>51775587
I wouldn't say that.

So do you play the big dumb martial of the party or what?
You poked the character with the blade of your sword? What's wrong with you?

Ye oldie thread: >>51752457
OP here.
Should I start age of sigmar? I have lots of old warhammer minis/armies
Is the starter set worth it?
I also have a bunch of mantic undead I want to turn into a undead force (40 skellies 20 graveguard 10 mummies and 20 ghouls 20 zombones)
Is AOS community more open to using alternative models?
Does the Skeleton Horde box come with all Mortarch variants, or just Arkhan the Black?
>>51774455
All variants as far as my research goes.
Same for other boxes I think the ghoul court can also make vampire lord.
How will we handle the mass exodus of Yugioh players to MTG following the latest rule change?
>>51773218
What happened?
>>51773218
Wew will this replace DEF on every card?
DEF always kind of sucked as a mechanic

The Zones Pointed at by Link Markers Can be Used to Bring Out Extra Deck Monsters
Although Extra Deck Monsters can only be Summoned to the Extra Monster Zone Normally, if you have a Link Monster in the Extra Monster Zone, the Zones pointed at by their Link Markers can be used to Summon Extra Deck Monsters! So if you get out a Link Summon quickly, you can bring out Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz Monsters in succession. Of course, you can Summon another Link Monster in one of these Zones, so if you play your cards right, you can fill your entire Main Monster Zone with Extra Deck Monsters! The new metagame will require careful consideration of where to place monsters!

hey /tg/, I'm building a "multiverse" where players can travel between vastly different worlds through non-physical means. and when I say vastly different I mean, they could just from a medieval village into a cyberpunk dystopia into a amber wasteland filled with speaking stalks of corn.
I'm having trouble explaining the methods of travel between the world, and also the "why travel between worlds".
perhaps there is some overlaying unifying force between the worlds that connects certain individuals in them together? or perhaps the world are connected by "windows" and barriers between the worlds or collapsing (may be too cliche for me)
brainstorm any ideas?

Asked a few questions about making barbed wire lately and I'm back with another. What's a good wire gauge for it?
Update on my Skaven Gutter Runner. Happy with how it has turned out, though I haven't washed it in Nuln oil as was suggested, cause frankly I'm scared of fucking it up. This is probably the best model I've painted to date, so just trying to build up the nerve to throw a wash on it.
Just primed a battlesuit wew
What is it about yugioh that is so attractive to black people, and how come magic doesn't have it?
Yugioh cards are easier to steal
Shonen loving weeb is a running theme among black people, and yugioh is close enough.
Magic is "too white". The one black kid I knew in high school who played it had to keep it a secret because his family would have ostracized him if they knew.
>>51757964
It's cheaper and more weeb than MTG.
>creator deity is evil aligned
Can this be made to work?
>>51745495
literally Gnosticism
Yes, for example if the creator's goal is to create suffering and misery with the creations, or simply creates so that he can derive a cruel pleasure through death or destruction.
Also, PoE is the dank shit
