I don't. They show me their normalfag memes and then laugh at me saying I have the worst fake laugh or other 'funny' pranks. Once I asked a person where [nickname] was and spoke of them in third person only to realize I had been talking to that very person all along. If I don't know what to say I say something stupid for the sake of talking and they think it's hilarious. It definitely helped that one of the women in admin has an autistic son with the same first name as me. She always makes comments about how I have same mannerisms as him and shit.

Before my current job I worked in psych and was liked for knowing/following all the rules and being good at communicating with the crazies. Before that I worked a gofer type role at a big airport. Everything from simple cleaning to loading/unloading with forklift, handling recycling/waste, and transferring oil from drums to tanks. "Fitting in" with the work culture is hard part but some places like to have at least one straight arrow who loves rules and regulations, if it's big enough they don't need all people persons we really fill a valuable niche in the company. Autism still hurts here, but it's nothing like front end roles in food and retail. Those you are paid to be liked by the customer and little else. The actual work done is secondary to that. Basically go for the idiot savant archetype. Play up failures as being a charming retard but have a strong skillset so compensate for the mistakes.
