You are a Yinglet, one of the “youngest” species to be discovered on the continent. Being a recently discovered species, 138 years ago, it is quite hard to fit into modern society. An interesting species given their diversity and anatomy. Unfortunately this species has a crippling gender gap between male and female Yings (about one female to 5-7 males).
What’s fantastic about this species are their coping mechanisms to deal with the rarity of females. Among enclaves/tribes of the Yings, there is always a female's den present, heavily guarded and closely watched by the matriarch and fellow patriarchs who essentially lead the enclave and its inhabitants.
Males, having longer snouts and tuftless tails, a distinct feature in females, have developed an evolutionary trait that is unlike any other documented on the continent. Thanks to the large absence of females among their species, males have depended on each other on a biological level, actually able copulate with each other, curbing sexual aggression and fighting over females.
They are also unable to produce the “th” syllable because of the layout of their front teeth (used to open oyster and clam shells as well as other shellfish). There is a great disagreement over how to imitate it, with “de” or “ze” being the most popular choices.
Ever since a hatchling you’ve had the special eye of the matriarch, this is probably obvious given the fact that you were the only hatchling to have successfully break out of your egg. The same can’t be said for your other 4 to-be brothers and sister in which it was determined they were stillborns. Besides the unfortunate fact that you are an only child, it’s quite a blessing, receiving special attentions from your mother(s).

Welcome to CultEvo. You will take the reigns as a group of disciples loyal to your deity, who has granted you with great abilities and immortal life, though not invulnerability. Your goal is to advance and ultimately realize your god's agenda. All cults know of the existence of other cults, but not their locations, although followers of Quet will sense their presence.

There are six deities to choose from. Each deity does differ in difficulty, so if you are beginner to tribe evo games I would suggest joining an easy cult, and if you want to challenge yourself and I suggest joining a hard.

Rules:
> Every turn is a month
> No limit on regular actions, can use up to one cult action OR research action
> Cult actions help flesh out your cult. Can include forming rituals (marriages, initiation, sacrificial, funeral, etc.), building structures (churches, obelisks, statues), and developing mythologies (basically roleplaying the feats of a disciple to become a noteworthy person). They help increase the number of boon points you gain per turn.
> Research actions must be PURCHASED after using some amount of boon points. It replaces a cult action when relevant
> Regular actions encompass everything else that doesn’t directly impact the structure of the cult. Includes warring, exploring, trading, providing services, etc. You can include as many actions that can be reasonably completed in a month with the people you have. Rules may change as quest goes on.

General Rules

15 min voting period after each main post. Write-ins votes are welcomed/encouraged. Votes that are non-contradictory and add to the narrative will be considered. Think 'Rule of Cool'

Combat mechanics/skill test will be done using best three out of five rolls of 1d100, unless otherwise specified. Modifiers may come into play depending on the MC's statistics which can improve odds and vice versa as the QM sees fit. The QM will do their best to inform players of when such modifiers will come up during votes. (Example: Aim at a target at long range with a scattershot weapon will require a higher roll to make a successful hit than a normal blaster weapon).

Training with other bots and successful missions can add to your overall abilities. Strong character relationships with your comrades can also benefit the MC as it will improve battle synergy and moral (less likely to want to fall back/retreat). Of course the vice versa can come into play as well. A failed mission may have consequences but result in unforeseen outcomes (In the show, Tarantulus, Blackarachnia, & Quickstrike were supposed to secure an energon post. The Maximals interfered, resulting in the loss of the post BUT Tarantulus gained a new lair.).

Keep an eye out at your energon build up levels; too much time in robot mode outside of a structure, such as a base can cause negative impacts on your combat maneuvers/skill test, including potential loss of spark. In the event of loss of spark, pending the results of a vote, a time lapse in the narrative will happen and a new stasis pod will fall. (Roll for new character or with a high relation level, a blank protoform will descend and your allies will reignite your spark)

Squire of Light quest is about the knights who defend the remnants of a world that was shattered by the darkness. Combat rolls will be determined by 3d6 with a 1d100 for perception/speech/ect rolls.

You tense for a moment, well, more accurately you tense the muscles you still have. Few people had ever really been this close to your personal space, and yet in the last few days this girl had completely disregarded the silent boundary you tried to force around yourself and instead set you on the backfoot. Even now, as you began to feel yourself taste a semblance of sobriety she baffled you.

And as much as you wanted to be angry, be frustrated with not understanding her; you couldn't be.

Even as the internal argument went on you quietly followed her lead, wrapping your arms around the blonde as you let your head lean down into the flat of her shoulder. You tried to drown out the internal fighting by looking outward to the feeling of her in your arms but even those thoughts only served to bring you back to your internal conflict.

You decide to speak up.

“Why?” You ask, your voice barely above a murmur.

“What do you mean?” She replies with an equal quietness, thought the tone is far softer than you'd ever heard creep into her voice.

“Why...this?” You try and elaborate, but even your own mind struggled to comprehend why any of what had occurred that evening had; Not only the moments now.

“You'll have to be more specific, tiger.” She responds, the softness in her voice replaced with the teasing mirth you'd only heard a few times before.

“The hug.”

“What, am I not allowed to hug you? We are partners, you know.” She points out and you sigh.

Khrone had told you once about the game of ‘playing ignorance’ and you weren't dense enough to miss that you were now playing that game; you just hoped it was for the fun and not because you were being ‘played’ as he'd put it.

“No...not that” you defend weakly, thankful that you're able to hide your face between her shoulder and her mane of hair.

“Then what?” She asks, and you can practically hear the grin in her voice.

An hour of meditation. That's all it takes. One hour and you feel as though you've slept ten and you've gathered the arcane force about you once more, all your spells are as easily refreshed as if you've slept and studied and meditated upon them once more.

That being said, the others have been less than idle, transporting the slaves and property from the Stronghold to the Lair. Yzia has assisted them in your stead while you remained with Yashi and Kteine. There was one interruption; Galtoso and Isedama delivered their were-gild to you: three bodyweight of Deep Crystal, three bodyweight in Void-glass, and twenty hand-weight in fine jewels, gems, and jewelry. Despite the short interruption you were able to continue the meditation as though you had not been interrupted at all. If they had taken more of your attention for longer, it might have been a problem, but as it stands, you make another imaginary note in your non-existent journal of self discovery to that effect.

Rising you see that the young gish and the ancient illusionist have built slave quarters, magic and the psychic disciplines combining to fabricate walls of stone and illusion, provide bedding and arrange for food, water, and latrines for them and the Cadre they are part of. They have also lightly furnished the cells, telekinesis and more apparent conjuration allowing them to do so without bypassing the Wall of Force you used to close the cells. They will need time to rest and recover, but that is all right. You don't need anyone knowing how quickly you can recover magics and power.

It does cost you to do so; the Elder Power can sustain you in that manner for a number of days if you conserve it, and that is something to be wary of perhaps.
