Gore thread?
Gore thread.
Post the best car gore you got. Helped a coworker pull the head off of a car at work, found this.

Is that a car or a tractor?

red is on the larger road, thus has has right of way, so blue is at fault
>>17788126
For the safety of everyone on the road, you probably shouldn't be driving if you had to ask this.

>WE WENT TO VG I MADE THE THREAD AND IT DID NOT WORK NOW BACK O BECAUSE WAH: subedition
Friendly reminder this is the real thread
I finally bought a 370z!
What do you think, /o/?
The interior is crisp, no scratches or dents anywhere on the car. 2012, 26k miles, upgraded radio. I wasn't too keen on the color at first but it's grown on me. The only downside I've experienced with this car is the insane amount of insurance I'm paying on it. Don't be 20 and own a sports car my friends :(
eh
Wow, it's been 4 years since i've been out of the game and away from /o/...
4 years ago everyone on this board was going ape shit over this car, calling it 'God Machine'...
What changed since then and what is /o/'s general opinion of the Toyota/Subaru love child now?
It's too slow.
That is the main complaint of it. At this point it's an overpriced heavy Miata.

get ready to meet alphonse lol
Somewhere in the design process it lost an extra hundred horsepower it needed to be good. Also sounds disappointing as fuck stock.
Post your fantasy builds /o/

1968 Fastback Mustang Replica/Restomod
Independent Rear Suspension
Best Brakes Wilwoods or Brembos
Power Locks, but not power windows
Electric Power Steering
Custom Brake Lights like the modern Mustangs that flash in a pattern.
Limited Slip Differential
Black Rims haven't decided which ones
Color Dark Blue with Black Racing Stripes
Engine: Ls3 easy hp and hopefully I won't have to chop the engine bay since it's compact. Could go for a 5.0 coyote, but I don't know.
Transmission: Tremec Manual 6speed
Stock exhaust for that sleeper sound and calm collected muscle car vibe.
This would be my dream car I'd go with a replica and not the original car body due to not having rust and not pissing off Ford enthusiast if I put an ls3 in the fastback.
Pic related the blue color I'd want.

procharged 88 AW11
1JZ-TE swapped MA60 L-Type

Find a community college or specialist 'school' that can get you a CDL, either finance it or pay out of pocket, then get on board at a company that offers tuition reimbursement.
Stick out your two years in the meat grinder to pay your dues, then decide once you're debt free whether or not you want to stick around.
There are also companies that will train you in exchange for you signing a (typically) 2-year contract, and while these are generally regarded as a total shitfest, it's not the worst thing in the world if that is your only option.
That said, aim for a recognizable company - Swift, Prime, and Schneider all get a lot of flak for being 'puppy mill' companies, but the true shitters are companies like CR England, CRST, and a handful of others that aren't coming to mind.
Nine times out of ten, a smaller, locally-owned-and-operated 'Mom and Pop' company will be your best bet.

What's the story with those long hood Petes anyway? Special model plate? Does it house a special engine with more cylinders, or just more cooling?
Besides the GT86 being slow, what else is bad about it?
>>17776702
boxer engine. that is all. if it had even the v6 camry/aurion engine it would've been awesome.
Does it not use prius tires as well?

To the anon that asked about what racing games to get
The initial-D games for ps3 are pretty good, so are the Wangan Midnight games, they're very Tokyo Xtreme Racer-ish
GT 5 & 6 are good and you can find cheap copies at places like EB games now since they're old gen, then there's the old NFS games, and if I were you I'd download a Ps2 emulator on your PC and download the Tokyo Xtreme Racer series, they're VERY GOOD
you do highway battles for exp and money and do loops around the Japanese highways looking for racers to flash your lights at and pull, has alot of customization and rpg elements
is this the pinnacle of design?
Yes. This is nice but I would like more rubber on the , and less blingy wheel design.

NO
its not even that good looking
hell its not even the best looking slab
today i bought replica momo shift knob, it cost me around $20, looks kinda good with black gloss finish.

what do i expect of it, paint coming off? feels kinda solid and heavy.
>>17796239
Asbestos and therefore cancer
Im going to drive from Atlanta to Los Angeles the day after tomorrow. I've never done cross country driving by myself before, so this'd be my first time.Longest straight driving I've done was like 3 hours, but then it was a pure night trip.
Mean of transportation is 2013 Toyota Rav4 - 45K miles, oil changed and check out less than 500 miles ago. Water is gonna be Costco, food is whatever along the way.
I'll be taking the I40 since the I10 is pretty much crapped by flood. Wanted to check in with raltives in Houston, but that's not possible now. Estimate is 33 hours, factor in all the breaks Im thinking at least 3 nights.
That said anymore actual, practical tips, warnings, suggestions, etc before I go?? So far proper tire inflation, tow number handy, break every 2 hours, music. Motel or sleep in the car, and park where?
Come on, tell me some shit that could have been easily prevented from your experience.

Is it possible to convert an OEM Turbocharged car to Natural Aspirated or Supercharged? Apologies if this sounds retarded, but I've found little to no information on the matter and I'm genuinely curious.
inb4 "why?"
>>17796031
I imagine if you were to remove all the turbo components (bov, wastegate, turbo etc.) and undo the oil line plumbing then you could. You'd probably have to modify the fuel lines too as they're usually larger/more numerous on a turbocharged engine.
>remove turbo
>pipe-strap on K&N filter
Contratulations your car is now NA with open headers. Might want to weld in a piece of pipe if you want to not wake the neighbors.
You could also probably just take the turbine out of the turbo.
>>17796045
Besides wanting to connect the oil lines or maybe just plug them up the rest of that just becomes useless but doesn't hurt anything.
