Changed the oil on this yesterday.

Just pulled a mates turbo motor appart to find the 2nd and 3rd ring lands have turned to aluminium beads.
Totally melted, top land is fine, just 2 and 3 turned into little balls of molten alu.
Never seen anything like it, will try to grab a pic tomorrow.

You can't fix a tire with a puncture on the sidewall. You're figuratively getting on your knees and begging for a blowout if you do. This customer was retarded and did it anyway, it wasn't me who plugged it. You won't find a real shop anywhere that will plug a tire with a gummy plug, let alone in the sidewall. Most won't even patch anything on the outside blocks of tread.

I wasn't gonna touch shit, except for replacing the tire. If I cut it it might have slipped inside the tire since the sidewall is thin and flexes so much, and then it would be made my fault when it blows out because I touched it last. Instead, the order has my comment about how they need to replace the tire ASAP because of the plug in the sidewall.

Unfortunately the customer declined a new tire.

The fuck is the point of having 5 turbos, what do you do with them. If you chain them one to another in a way that one takes the air in and pass it to another one, that makes zero sense. having more turbos doesn't make the air come into the engine faster but it does take more energy to spin all 5 of them. There are some drag engines that have cascaded turbochargers. I've seen two smaller ones feeding a large one which directly pumps into a 6liter v8 or something like that. That was an >2000hp engine though which probably needs to be rebuilt every run.
