Hey /k/
So today I have a mission I've been working on for you. There's a fuck ton of blackbirds in my neighbourhood killing Robins and the likes, and I've taken it upon myself to be the vigilante of the community and eradicate them. My weapon is a red Ryder BB gun. This promises to be somewhat fun
>>34238824
>red ryder
Probably wont even kill them, might hurt a but but they'll only fuck off for a while. Kill one and put it on a stick for all its bird friends to see, THAT will make them fuck off.
>>34238824
That's complete underkill. At least get something that'll push a pellet past the sound barrier.
>>34238838
Already did that before I started this thread. I dunno if I got a special model or something, but as it turns out a 350fps red Ryder kills em good
Come. It's time you confess your /k/ sins.
>I tried drunkenly shooting off a round for New Years but I accidentally put the round in backwards.
My battle rifuu is a hi point carbine that I've spent hours polishing and supping up. I unironically trust it and handle it better than any ar or ak I've handled
I just traded a 590 and sporterized mosin nagant for a gen 1 sub 2k in .40 and a marlin .17 hmr rifle with a pretty nice scope. I really just wanted a sub 2k, i dunno why but I'm happy. I realized I don't want to learn to shoot shotguns.

When I was 19 I used engine enamel to refinish a Mauser I own. It looks like shit now.
Does anyone know what kind of gun this is? Is it even a weapon? Found it on a construction site I snuck into.
caulk gun is still a gun right. don't steal.

It's Summer time and I'm feeling fine...
(I hope your mom gets raped for this post)
Its a Mass Assaulter
Sup /k/, so I was thinking about taking a cycling trip around the U.S.
Now I'm very concerned for my safety and I'll be traveling mostly in rural areas. I can't bring a handgun because I'm 20, and bringing a shotgun or rifle on a bike is impractical and probably not legal.
So I was thinking about buying one of those vz44 flareguns and bringing them along.
I figured if I get stranded it could signal my position and if need be I could fire it at bears, moose, or people if necessary.
Would this be ill advised? I saw a flaregun thread on here a few days ago and it got me thinking but I'm not sure if it's something illegal to carry cross country.
Maybe get an adapter for it?
>>34238549
Flares themselves dont work well as a defensive item. A 12ga insert makes it a an illegal SBS and the .410/22lr/9mm inserts are impractical against bears/moose. Better off with a can of mace or just bicycling away.
I dont know about the legality but if I was taking a long hike alone it can't hurt to have some kind of signaling device if you get injured.
Anywhere I can get a decent repro of these? I need them to operate in the summer.

It's like you don't even bother to pretend to be the Lord of war.
We've been over this, anon.
At a competition in Kamloops, BC, Canada, Dr. Richard Cho apparently fumbled his pistol and while grasping for it managed to pull the trigger and put a round into his chest. He died. Just bad luck? Or does the press have it wrong? Aren't grip safeties a thing with IPSC? Pardon my ignorance, I only shoot a bit of .22lr for plinking and mostly airguns, no idea about IPSC gear. Anyone here who was there? Apparently 120 competitors there for the weekend.
This was the poor fellow, a chiropractor:
http://backdr.ca/about/
And here's a couple of news stories about it:

Not trying to be disrespectful, just wondering mostly about how a thing like this can happen to a shooting instructor. I mean I guess race car drivers get killed in crashes, and recently a marine died when his parachute failed to open... so I guess something like this is just part of the game?

>Dr. Richard Cho apparently fumbled his pistol and while grasping for it managed to pull the trigger.
Bummer. Not sure if a grips safety would have covered him though, since he could have gotten his hand around that too.
> How a thing like this can happen to a shooting instructor
I wish training past a certain number of hours made you either bulletproof or gave you bullet-time, but it never does.
>>34238098
>i gotta go fast
shit happens.
>>34238098
One of the first things they tell you during pistol training, or at least the basic training courses I've been through, is that if you drop a gun, you let it fall. And then stare at it for a minute before picking it up and think about how big of a dumbass you are.
And no, there is no grip safety requirement.

What does /k/ Think of this knife?

Fuck off with overpriced bullshit.

SOG has been a shadow of its former self for the past couple of years.
You can get a Bark River for nearly the same price in 3V.
Reminder that now that the X95 is the new meme rifle, original Tavors will be looked fondly upon down the line as overall well rounded platforms.
Reminder that its only downside is a crappy trigger.
Reminder that having to learn a manual of arms that isnt an AR's is bot a downside.
Reminder that despite the shills, this is actually a fairly accurate rifle for its purpose.
Reminder that in 20 years youre going to regret not having one of these as a collector's piece.
Reminder that this rifle has actually been fielded and used in a modern conflict.
Reminder that no one cares about your Colt or S&W budget AR. Might as well drive a Civic.
>>34237916
That 4+ MOA though
>>34237936
Hello friend.
You seem to have been mislead eithet intentionally or accidentally about the accuracy of the SAR/TAR 21.
Proofs?
Its a 2MOA rifle at worst.
>>34237916
I can think of worse tools for HD. A lot goddamn worse.
So if someone shoot a gun is side a sound proof room does that make the room into a suppresser.
What if someone where to drill a hole from the outside and stick the barrel through the hole?
What if someone made a sound proof trailer with a hole .
What if someone made a sound proof box with a hole?
We should make every sound proof room into a suppressor till the nfa is repealed.
The ATF has ruled on this.
It's not a suppressor if it's not physically attached to the gun.
I would think being portable with the gun is part of making it a suppressor
Is every indoor range a suppressor? Call the feds we got doggo to shoot
Did we ever get a ruling on the hamster machinegun scenario
If you're still buying overpriced lead flowers because you think a bigger hole is better, or that what cops use must be better, please post in this thread so we can laugh at you.

150% the original diameter is significant and the main goal is reducing over penetration

I'd like to see you triptard being shot even by some .22LR hollowpoint and watch you bleed, idiot.

I practice with FMJ but I carry with JHP that I shoplift in its easily lifted small boxes. Thank you Sig and federal for those bites size boxes. Never had a feeding issue in muh Shield 9mm

This. I see them at gun shows as well. My town has monthly gun shows, I usually see a handful of these at sometimes reasonable prices.
My front barrel band on my VZ24 won't budge. What do /k/? I've already tried to lube it up and heat it up with a blow dryer. No success

How effective would motorcycle cavalry be in today's wars? Take some dirt bikes, put ceramic rifle plate fairings on them to protect the rider, and give the soldiers guns that they can easily wield one handed and maybe some swords for if they get really close.
What is automatic weaponry, Alex?
>>34237188
slightly related, didn't the japs once invade some city in oceania by riding bicycles through the jungle?
