A buddy of mine shared this with me on facebook and was curious if anyone has ever been to it?
It's coming up on March 18th in downtown Los Angeles and apparently has a 2 story warehouse full of old surplus uniforms, bags, etc and a large dollar pile of items.
Thought it'd be worth checking out

Does this trigger you, /k/?

Hell yeah, the amount of rust on that hatchet is disgusting
I'm not even surprised when I see shit like this anymore.
meh
it's just a rifle
I bet there are still a lot of them in third world countries, as gifts from a potency so they can have some guns to defend themself
This is a major general at pistol quals ... the horror...

He's just doing CAR drills
I'm looking into getting into guns as a hobby, and online this just keeps coming up again and again. Want to know if this'd be a good deal, or a clusterfuck waiting to happen, as it's so cheap it's hard to pass up, and it's a historical bolt-action military rifle.

Ammo is a bit hard to find. I reload. It is great for plinking and hunting. 1 warning.DO NOT MAKE IT INTO A BIGGER CALIBER. DO NOT CHANGE ITS CALIBER.
>>33257869
Wasn't planning to. I know the ammo is also... not the cheapest. There's the one that's chambered in .308 Winchester that's also in stock, so would that be a good or bad idea? It's about $20 more.
>>33257908
No. No. No. .308 will kill all Spanish Mausers. 7.62x57 isthe only choice.
My Glock just jammed. Is there a quick way to fix this? I'm kinda in the middle of something.
Tap. Rack. Assess
Anon suicide isn't the answer.

Thinking about getting pic related.
Would these be good for dropping freedom bombs on some campus commies?
>>33257432
I'm conflicted. On one hand they're autistic fingerless gloves, on the other hand they're 'merica.
In any case if you want to drop commies buy weighted sap gloves instead.
the autism is too powerful
>>33257432
No, unless they come in full gloves.
Just bought a VZ.61 parts kit with original barrel from Sarge's surplus. Has anyone else built one of these? I can only find 1 video series online on how to assemble it, however, since the original barrel is already pressed and pinned into place the hardest part is over. Also, are the vz61 mags from CDNN reliable? They seem like they're new production which seems very strange to me.
https://www.cdnnsports.com/magazines/vz61-32-20rd-factory-mag.html
>>33257169
CSA is still making new receivers so new parts aren't weird.
This shit goes together very simply. youtube has a few videos up; hardest bits are the trigger pack and the front sight. Really though, it goes together with your hands and a rubber malt. You can push a new barrel in with a fridge and the bolt.
>>33257169
Post pics. I really like vz 61's.
>>33257169
man I really want one of those, in original 7.65 browning, those EVO 3 tacticools can shove it
I dare anyone to post a more accurate image.
That's about it.

Why
>>33257168
Why does everyone have karambits all of a sudden?
>>33257202
I've had one for like 2 years now
Why don't we just turn earth into a Starkiller base? It probably wouldn't cost that much and we could BTFO any ayy lmao spaceniggers
>>33256502
Wouldn't we have to destroy the sun in order to charge it? What exactly would we do after that since we have no ability to travel to other stars?
>>33256523
>imblying based Starkiller base couldn't travel to other stars

this is so fucking stupid
I'm bored, and not nearly drunk enough yet.
So I am just going to post various old military photos. The kicker?
I am going to try to actually provide some context to the photos I post. Shocking, for 4chan I know.
>Australian soldiers visit the Pyramids and the Sphinx during leave in 1918. Soldiers from various Australian Regiments visited the pyramids during 1918 while on recuperation leave from the Military Hospital in Alexandria, Egypt. The two wearing slouch hats were light-horsemen. The one in the lower left hand corner was Henry Faulkner, 12th Light Horse Regiment. He was injured during the massive Beersheba Offensive. During most of his service in the Middle East he was attached to General Allenby's personal staff.

>COSTLY VISIT. Immediate explosion from a direct hit made be a B-26 Invader light bomber on a church containing high explosives for the Communists, is shown in this photo the second after the 452nd Light Bomb Wing's plane had dropped its bombs directly on target. Wonsan harbor on the east coast of Korea is shown in the background, while buildings of the military supply area in the foreground are shown damaged in previous strikes.

>Soviet soldiers move through the trenches amongst the ruins during the Battle of Stalingrad. The German and Axis allied offensive to capture Stalingrad began on 12 September 1942 and ended on 2 February 1943. It is among the bloodiest battles in the history of warfare, with over two million killed and the entire city in ruins. The heavy losses inflicted on the Wehrmacht make it arguably the most strategically decisive battle of the whole war. It was a turning point in the European Theater of the war; the German forces never regained the initiative in the East and withdrew a vast military force from the West to reinforce their losses. Stalingrad (now Volgograd), Volgograd Oblast, Russia, Soviet Union. October 1942.

Going for a smoke, let me know if anyone is monitoring?
Post fun targets
>>33255839
What is the point of this? They are barely similar at all
>>33255715
It's got SOME parts that it shares commonality with. Admittedly the designers massively exaggerated how similar the three variants are.
>>33255715
reminder that C tailplanes best tailplanes
>>33255715
roughly 30% is common to all 3 models, splitting the cost 3 ways
Another 30% is common between 2 models in a mix and match fashion to split the casts 2 ways between models
40% of each is entirely unique at full price
This means developing all three variants cost roughly the same as developing 2 separate projects.
What can /k/ teach me about the AC-130?
My expertise is with WWII-era aircraft, and I'm trying to learn more about modern aircraft.
>>33255127
It's altogether pretty simple
Standard AC-130 airframe, 4 turboprop engines
Guns come out the side.
Only the gunners have thermals, commander has standard night vision.
>>33255146
Thanks! What can you tell me about pic related?
>>33255127
What model? They very quiet a lot. The newest ones are pretty much a flying kebab Holocaust. I won't answer any sensitive or classified shit, but if you want to know a little about it your going to need to be a little more specific.
I just spend a ton of money on a reloading press and I have no idea what I'm doing and already almost had a ND just trying to use it.
What am I doing wrong?
How do you almost ND on a press?
>>33255072
>he fell for the reloading me
>>33259982
this
I tried to get into reloading and it's WAY to fucking hard to get into and figure out. Don't trust anyone who tries to tell you 'b-but it's cheaper than buying ammo!" If you want a good set-up, ur going to be investing a crap ton of money into buying the individual pieces to set up a kit.
Reloading is a meme.
