Why hasn't there been an episode of Cops with military police?
It would be just as hilarious as any episodes in Baltimore or a trailer park.
>>33266870
Because it would reflect poorly on the US military.

>reality reflects poorly on the military
What did he mean by this?

After they get done arresting drunks and other fucktards, other countries see how our military acts whwn not at war. They're gonna think we're a big joke.
How did I do?

What are some of the more advanced firearms that humanity has made?
Im talking 2016 and after
The scar was super popular in 2007 to this day, are we going to see newer versions of the same rifles? Or could we be seeing new designs?

Advances
in the last year?
yeah, no
>>33266705
>are we going to see newer versions of the same rifles? Or could we be seeing new designs?
Maybe to an extent. There's not much new territory to mine with rifles at this point. Maybe polymer ammo, more advanced optics integration, or things like that.
no major wars, no major innovations
Alright lads
I live in the great communist shithole of Maryland. I've been scrapping together some money for a while to buy an FN PS90. Went into a gun shop today and asked about getting one.
Turns out the PS-90 has been added to Maryland's banned firearm list on grounds that it's a "copycat of a existing firearm on the ban list".
This does not make any fucking sense to me and I'm planning to inquire about it. If you've seen or fired the PS-90, then you know it is a very odd firearm with all proprietary parts. I believe they have made a mistake, but I might need to make a compelling case to have it taken off the ban list.
Does anyone have experience with this sort of thing? You can see the list here:
http://mdsp.maryland.gov/Organization/Pages/CriminalInvestigationBureau/LicensingDivision/Firearms/FirearmSearch.aspx
>Does meet the definition of a copycat weapon
Banned as of Jan 27, 2017.
Pic roughly related
>>33266647
What the fuck is the PS90 a copycat of? A P90?
>>33266647
>If you've seen or fired the PS-90, then you know it is a very odd firearm with all proprietary parts.
not really, it shares many parts with the banned P90, really everything but the exact barrel and trigger group is exactly the same
swapping in a P90 trigger group makes it a machine gun.....
>>33266647
you are not personally going to get a gun off the fucking banned list

What's the Australian Army like? I'm set to deploy to Darwin, Australia soon.
What's the Aussie Military like? Looking them up on wikipedia it seems they're competent and have worked with America on many conflicts, but that's all history and statistics. I'm more curious about peoples experience being a part of or working with the Australian Army/Military in general.

This is not exactly a "war is hell" thread, but general conflict photos.
I will try to include what background I have to the photos I post. Appreciate any who can contribute.
>Soviet soldiers move through the trenches amongst the ruins during the Battle of Stalingrad. The German and Axis allied offensive to capture Stalingrad began on 12 September 1942 and ended on 2 February 1943. It is among the bloodiest battles in the history of warfare, with over two million killed and the entire city in ruins. The heavy losses inflicted on the Wehrmacht make it arguably the most strategically decisive battle of the whole war. It was a turning point in the European Theater of the war; the German forces never regained the initiative in the East and withdrew a vast military force from the West to reinforce their losses. Stalingrad (now Volgograd), Volgograd Oblast, Russia, Soviet Union. October 1942.

The U.S military ALMOST adopted the G3.
Do you think it would have been better than the M4 and M16 variants why or why not?
>>33266216
The G3 would have been a lot better than the M14 but that's not saying very much.
>>33266216
What.
The G3 wasn't even in those trials, was it?
I thought it came down to the T44 and whatever the FAL variant was.
>Daily reminder that American admits the European designed a better GPMG than theirs.
All I want is a nice 7.62 rifle without having to wait years to get it. I want to buy a LaRue OBR, but I would settle for an LMT MWS or a GAP10, but no one has them in stock, and I just got an unofficial quote on 1.5 YEARS from LaRue to get a rifle.Fuck buying used
This seems common through several different rifles. No one has them in stock, year+ backlogs to order them, and gunbroker is overpriced, untrustworthy and expensive.
>>33266072
Picked up an MWS, during the panic, for $2400
They are out there
>>33266099
I lust after the OBR. I have the money, but for the life of me I just cant find it anywhere. Some asshole on gunbroker is selling a used one for $200 off the price direct from LaRue.
I will just keep looking until I find one I guess..
>LaRueshit is out of stock
It's a sign from god anon, he's telling you to find a better gun
Say I lived in seclusion in the woods of a state with decent gun laws e.g. the Castle Doctrine or similar laws. As I'm coming back from hunting I see someone climbing through the window and breaking into my home. The window was locked and I was not expecting visitors. I'm unaware whether they are armed, but yelling would cause them to flee or otherwise react and the police are 20-30 min away. Would I legally be in the clear if I were to shoot them? Would having a wife or child within the home make a difference (They are clearly not in danger of being hit)?
>Inb4 bury them in the woods.
>TLDR: Can I legally shoot someone breaking in from outside my home?
just shoot the nigger if you live in a non libcuck state and you will be fine
>>33265846
Most places with decent gun laws consider breaking into an occupied structure to be a shooting offense. a political activest prosecutor may try to make a case against you if the house is unoccupied, they are unarmed, and the round enters from the back. that case will likely fail though. if they are armed or the structure is occupied then no prosecutor in their right mind would bring charges on you in non cuck states.
>>33265911
That's what I thought, but was unsure if an emotional plea, whether it be that they were unarmed/had no identifiable weapon or hit from behind, would be enough to build a case against me.
You know the drill.
