Not fully tighten the magazine tube on my Remington 870. Had to search for the spring for a good 5-10 minutes.

I am getting my first pistol soon and I am highly considering a USP Tactical. I've looked into a few handguns but I think a 45 is where I want to go for more versatile use. The reliability seems unmatched and can easily take +P rounds without worry. I know it is a big handgun but I will occasionally want to conceal carry due to alot of travel and going into areas with high crime but I also want something strong enough to go on trails and hiking with. Also plan on buying a suppressor with it but it isn't something I absolutely need and will probably hold off on for awhile so it isn't a deal breaker but is definitely a plus.

Thoughts?

Good evening /k/ourtly gentlemen!

As a loyal subject to our good King George (long may he reign), I have come to fear the safety of my self, my negros and my property at the hands of the rebel "revolutionaries", here in the Virginian colonies.

At present, I possess two fine fowlers and my hunting sword, but little else with which to defend my homestead! What say you: Shall I next acquire a German rifle to dispatch the villains at a distance, or invest my guineas in a English blunderbuss to cut a swath through them up close?

What would you pick?
I'd go with the MG42
1200/1500 RPM of 7.92 mauser
Easily changeable barrels if it overheats.
Only drawback is that you chew through a ton of ammo.

What would you pick?

An odd product that has appeared on Republic of Korea (ROK) Army K1A and K2 rifles in recent years is this brass catcher. Outside of a few dedicated reloaders in the United States, brass catchers are very seldom used at all anywhere else in the world. However in the ROK army, spent brass has a much higher importance than in most other militaries. Soldiers are required to turn in every piece of brass that they fired during a training regime or else face severe consequences. The reasoning behind this is the army’s strict control over ammunition consumption and reloading ammunition. Behind that regulation has to do with serious problems the ROK Army has with hazing, suicide rates, and soldiers making off with rounds for criminal activities. Thus, ROK soldiers have to turn in every single casing fired while on a live fire range, confirming it by also counting every single one. Many of us in the Military or LE are used to long lines of “Police Call”, where we would line up after a training event, sweeping the grounds for brass, collecting it and turning it back in. However the difference was that we didn’t count every single case when we turned them, it was enough to make the range reasonably cleaner than when we arrived at it.

I don't have one yet and I'm not genuinely really asking what a good first rifle is (unless you have fantastic advice). I have one person saying AR15 around $1,000 is my best bet because stoner accuracy, etc. Meanwhile someone else I know says a Nugget will do just fine.

I'm not looking for self defense or inching smaller than a fucking inch. Just looking for something to plink with and learn on for awhile.

PSL question

I found a guy selling a PSL locally. He wants $1100 for the rifle, but doesn't have the factory lps 4x6 scope. I wanted to buy this as a collectors item, so originality is important to me. I can't find any for sale online.

Should I buy the rifle alone and hope to find a scope later? Also, for those who own this optic, are they easy to use and effective? Is the factory scope worth it?

General psl reviews are also good. I have an SVT 40 and 54r VEPR

Hello /k/.

Need some help here.

I'm 22 years old I just bought a property for me and my family in southern Oregon, I've grown up here around guns, shooting, hunting, ect.

But I don't own a gun. I'm looking for a sturdy rifle for defense, and hunting. Mostly the wild turkey that roam these parts and of course the deer in the fall.

I have a budget of $450, I've done some research on a few rifles that may suit my needs. But nothing conclusive.

Reccomendations /k/?
Advice?

Thanks, Yogi.

Ps: I've never really posted or been to 4chan last time I was I was probally 17 and I probally fucked around on /b/ or something. So please forgive my "normie" tendincies.

Get a shotgun.

No, the turkeys around here are very accustomed to people and normally don't fly away you could honestly hunt them with a rock. They are very tame, and aren't easily spooked Esspecially the ones that wander into my property.

ITT: bombs

Do corny Looney Toons style bombs even exist anymore? Also, how does bomb defusing work?

Is it literally "cut the red wire first, then the yellow"?

.....could I make a board game based around bomb defusing or does it exist already?

Also, tell me about the suits.

Can you actually survive big blasts in them?

This could be an interesting capitalistic venture....

People sky dive, swim with sharks, do motor vehicle stunts, etc..

So why don't people blow up bombs a few feet awayrom them for fun?

In a controlled environment with proven suits and measured explosives, would you pay $1000 to experience the explosive?
>>
I dont know shit about bombs but I know a bunch about board games

There are two popular bomb defusing board games out right now, called Bomb Squad, which is a programmable movement game where you and your friends control a bomb defusal robot, or Bomb Squad acadamy, which is card based but I haven't actually played it so i can't really tell you anything else.

Both games are pretty good i've heard
