I bought this new pistol, in the manual it says to keep one chamber empty for carrying. BUT if I just twist the chamber slightly and let the hammer down it rests between the chambers on the cylinder, and cylinder locks up and everything is safe. My question is, why not CC with it in this condition? You get an extra shot.

Do laser activated claymores exist in real life or are they just a videogames thing?

i checked many army claymore videos and they all see to use the claymores with a detonator

can you nig-rig a laser Det into a claymore?

Short yet fairly informative video showing what the french army expects from their new HK416.
here are the keypoints:
>Famas does not have to blush due to its carrier
>it's time to welcome the HK416F which brings modularity
>2 versions : a standard 90cm long and short 80cm long (14.5" and 10" barrels)
>adjustable stock and sling, picatiny rails for bipod, grenade launcher, accessories and optics
>new blank rounds training kit with specialised magazines and a blank firing adapter resisting to ball ammo
>easy to field strip and clean

It will take more than 10 years to achieve the full transition to the HK416. Older Famas will be gradually scrapped. Those a bit younger and modernised ones will be kept as long as the transition isn't complete.

I would have to go with Sturmgeschütz III Ausführung G (StuG III Ausf. G)

because it is quite maneuverable, it can traverse relatively fast and has a powerful 7.5 Pak 42 L/70 Gun.

I understand this might be an apples and oranges kind of deal, but do you think I should trade my 8 shot Mossberg 500 (pic related) for a decent condition Winchester Model 12? The serial for the Model 12 is 336XXX.

I bought the Mossberg more for fun than for practical reasons, and I definitely like old guns with character better than shiny new stuff.

I've heard mostly good things about the Model 12s and I love the look of it.

One other thing, if I did make the trade, how bad of an idea would it be to cut the barrel down to 20 or 18.5 inches?

Also scattergun general I suppose.
