It wasn't a nickname so much as it was a joke that they beat to death. I enlisted shortly after that episode of South Park with all the gingers, so for four years I heard "you have no soul", and various versions there of. It got a real fucking old, real fucking fast.

As much as I hate asking. Why an FNS? What is their appeal compared to a Glock 17/19, M&P, P320?

It's a glock with perfect sights, full ambi controls, correct grip angle, excellent grip texture and metal mags right out of the box.

All that said none of that is why I oper8 with them, I train on them because they physically fit me the best, in the end that's the most important factor.

The LOP on the trigger is anatomically correct with my fingers, I can get a super aggressive high tang grip and not interfere with any controls (a big issue for me on my HKs, god bless 'em). I don't have to break/adjust my grip to operate any of the controls.

I got an M14a2 tanker's gas mask for 40 bucks.

Doesn't look that bad opie. Wouldn't worry about it. The M17 is an aesthetic as fuck mask though. The military style two piece lense (M17, M40, etc) look way better imo even though shit like the M50 with a one piece lens are much more modular and easier to use.
