There is a word for this kind of thing but, anyway can someone tell me how i can stop this habit to draw from left to the right? Is a weird habit i've developed and i feel the pencil like an obstruction when i try to draw.
Pic unrelated.
>>3090187
Start drawing from the right to the left instead. Physics says it should even out.
>>3090187
You want to intentionally smudge what you've drawn? Are you retarded?.
this no make sense
do i even need this
>>3092421
What exactly doesn't make sense?
>>3092421
go for the conic perspective if you want the science of that.

While it may not have been worthy of a thread, I've been where you are and must say I feel for you. Stay strong, OP. The best guys tend to be accepted in several places, meaning that depending on the size of the list, there may be a place for you in the end.

>That chin
>>3092218
>Draw anime
Literally doomed the thread from the start, good job OP.
>>3092218
next you'll make a community study porn thread and then a community study draw thread and then a community study animation thread
Whats the quickest, easiest way to get as good as Takehiko Inoue or Kentaro Miura?
>>3088282
No shortcuts, only practice
>>3088282
get a real job, pay an artist to draw your stupid idea

This thread is meant for artists who might want to try to make anime works in-between their studies, however, all forms of stylization is welcome here. It is strongly recommended that you use this thread in conjunction with learning the elements and fundamentals of art. You can also discuss the visual elements of various professional artists as well if you keep it relatively articulate and civil.
Submit your drawings, receive feedback or critique others! Share your knowledge and remember to thank those who've critiqued or red-lined your drawings. Most importantly, it's all about having fun!

How can i give my painting a brand new realistic cool look? I painted it 4 years ago and with the years i began to wonder if it could need some improvement. Give me some suggestions or advices, please.
Thanx

loomis
>>3092096
im new at digital art, help me.
>>3091818
how can I get better?
>>3091818
I'd go to beg, but I can't really help you unless you try and draw something anatomically correct
>>3091995
then were do I start?
Can someone help me draw the eyebrows on my baby picture.
>>3091641
you are perfectly capable of doing so yourself in the limited capacity you can
Looks like you already did
How to control them?
How to take care of them?
Any advice you can share will be great!
PaulAntonioScribe just released a video on them.
What's a good fountain pen for drawing? Lami Safari?
Dip pens have no secrets, controlling them is matter of getting used to them.
ALWAYS keep a napkin or toilet paper near and clean your dip pens regularly.
>>3091436
Fountain pens are not good for drawing, use dip pens.
Anyone use any other medium than digital/ drawing tool and paper?
Like any one do sculpture or collage or anything thats remotely interesting or worthwhile?
Like MtG card art is cool and all but it doesn't really get me going
I made a collage for a zine cover last week. It was fun
>>3089335
mtg art is all 3d now and photobashed. it's not that cool. It was cool when the artists actually drew from their imagination, much more creative.
also who's the chick?
What does it take to improve? How much effort are you putting in compared to people who got to a pro level? Do you need to make another thread whining?
2008-2010 all stuff by some dude who improved a fuckload
http://algenpfleger.deviantart.com/gallery/27635231/Tons-of-practice
1600+ files
browse it, gain some perspective.
>>3088767
wow, his stuff is really mediocre
Thank you anon.
We all know it takes a lot of hard work and time to get better, sometimes seeing stuff like that brings back motivation some of us lack.
>>3088767
All that progress for this shit? I've seen anons here make better progress. Guess talent is real after all.
can poor people still make it?
like when you only have regular pens and used printer paper
>i am poor
>this means my life is too hard so i will make excuses as to why i dont draw well or enough
not gonna make it
>i am poor
>i do not wish to be poor so i will let this motivate me to draw and improve like fucking hell
might make it
>>3087871
Certainly it will be difficult, but not impossible
>>3087871
You can get some cheap practice material, and I'm sure that even when you're poor you can put a few bucks aside to invest a little in better supplies.
Though, how poor are we talking?
I'm poor by my country's average but I feel like a king most of the time because I don't waste my money on things that a lot of people around me do, like new phones, clothes, expensive food and going out, I never go out.
Then I also have a jar in which I put small change and after some time there's enough in it to buy some more pencils, ink and paper.
Lots of information and knowledge can be found on the internet nowadays so self-teaching has never been this easy.
Look at the possibilities and don't give me a bunch of bullshit excuses, that's a sign that you don't even want to make it.
So, OP, what are you doing to reach your goal?
Yo, I saw a couple of these threads a while back but no one has made them since so I thought I'd make one. Anyways, the rules are simple, draw the next panel or the next couple of panels and keep the story going. You can take it in whatever direction you want or whatever, just try to keep it coherent. All skill levels are welcome. Pls contribute so this thread doesn't die, let's have some fun!
>>3086000
Also here's a lower res version if the resolution on the OP one is too high for some reason.

>Figure Drawing: Design and Invention by Michael Hampton
>Optional -> Analytical Figure Drawing by Michael Hampton (video course that goes along with the book)
>Optional -> Proko's videos
>Vilppu Head Construction and Anatomy videos (these will come later)
Requirements:
>Finish Drawabox Lesson 1: Circles and Ellipses (boxes not due yet)
>Read Keys to Drawing and do one exercise every other day. You should have the pepper exercise done by Monday.
>Read up to page 29 of Hampton and do 20 gesture drawings, applying what you have learned.
>Optional -> Week 1 of Analytical Figure Drawing
Note for newfags: Books and Vilppu videos are in the Artbook Thread. Proko is on Youtube, and Hampton's video course is on cgpeers, a private torrent tracker for graphics tutorials, etc. (registration is open but not for long, hurry up and make an account if you don't have one!)
Disclamer: I am not the OP of the other community study thread, I made this one based off of the same concept but with more focus on anatomy, so we can learn to draw cute anime girls together. I am also super /beg/, so feel free to make suggestions if the you think the curriculum or assignments need improvement.
I hope this thread takes off and will be helpful to you. Thank you very much Anons! Also thanks to the creator of the other thread for giving me the idea for this one.
>>3083199
Forgot to mention, requirements should be done by Monday 8/9.
>>3083218
disregard that, it says you're /beg/ and it's mere coincidence
>>3083218
No, I just used a tripcode to distinguish myself as OP so I don't have to say "OP here", etc. I have never used a tripcode on this board before.
