Why Windows font rendering is so shit by default?

I never noticed the problem until I used Linux/Mac where the fonts are nicely rendered without hurting your eyes.

MacType solves the problem for Windows, except for office 2016 and Chrome and other DirectWrite apps.

>>
Because Windows is built on top of MSDOS and that's how fonts were supposed to look back then.
>>
Well one issue is that Windows does font rendering in kernel space...

And that completes the scam.
The owners are left with a $600-$400 brick that can connect to the internet.
Meanwhile the maker leave the scene rich and laughing their asses to the hipsters.
I wish I could be such immoral bastard. I blame my mum. She rose me with way too unbalanced (to the good) moral code.

Well design software had formal specs and documentation over software design challenges, tools and solutions.

Comments comes as part design process.

* Implementation notes.
*
* This map usually acts as a binned (bucketed) hash table, but
* when bins get too large, they are transformed into bins of
* TreeNodes, each structured similarly to those in
* java.util.TreeMap. Most methods try to use normal bins, but
* relay to TreeNode methods when applicable (simply by checking
* instanceof a node). Bins of TreeNodes may be traversed and
* used like any others, but additionally support faster lookup
* when overpopulated. However, since the vast majority of bins in
* normal use are not overpopulated, checking for existence of
* tree bins may be delayed in the course of table methods.

How come we're not talking about this?

> The upcoming Google Chrome feature won’t block every advert, but will block ones that are deemed unacceptable.
> Google is also set to introduce an option for website visitors to pay websites directly – in compensation for the adverts they're blocking.

So basically they are;

* Killing off all ads that are not funding Google
* By extension killing off ads a means of revenue for sites that does not qualify for Google Ads (Eg. torrent sites, "extremist" sites, porn sites, etc)
* Ripping off Brave's "block ads and pay websites instead" idea

2GB RAM, removable battery, 720p 4" display, not a retarded phablet. You can get them for $50. Give me a reason why this is a bad idea.

You're buying the phone equivalent of a laptop with 4gb of ram and a Pentium.
>>
>>62203579

Most laptop today are sold with 4 gigs of ram.
>>
>>62203579
Is that a bad thing? For basic use, it looks like a good deal for $50 and I'm pretty sure it's not botnet.
