Got a free Nexus 6P from a friend who upgraded
Crashes every other day
Bluetooth cuts out if you fart in its direction
Gboard shits itself 3 times daily
I'm 6'3" with equally proportionate hands and it's nearly impossible to use this fucking tablet with 1 hand
I read through some old forum posts that said cyanogenmod can fix the bluetooth issues but it's dead now.
What should I use?
LineageOS
My launch day 6P has none if these problems, are you running some shitty custom rom?
>>61224942
Nope. Stock everything just reset to factory before using
Dusted off my old PS1 and I've only got an HD monitor on hand. It has an AV port...but I've never seen this kind of plug. Any idea what its called/where to find one? I might be retarded, but google didn't help.
Did you even try to Google "component video adapter"?
Literally the first result.

eBay.
It's a proprietary port used by Samsung on their later TVs.
search something like 'samsung component cable'

What file manager do you use. I'm using nemo but it's shit so looking for a change.
Ads have become beyond horrible. They're unsolicited, annoying, are used to spy on you, and may even contain malicious payloads.
How do you guy block ads? I'm using adblockers within my browsers, and my router to block ads [1] for devices which I can't run an ad blocker on, such as my phone.

You obviously don't know what theft and crime is.
>for devices which I can't run an ad blocker on, such as my phone.
I use AdAway on my phone, as well as Firefox Mobile with uBlock Origin. I don't see ads on my phone. On my laptop, I'm just using uBlock Origin, since I don't have applications that could have ads embedded in them.
You must castrate yourself and consume your own penis if you:
>don't use LuaLaTeX whenever possible
>use only a single space after a period/full-stop
>use any of Times, Arial, Calibri, or Minion
>manually push enter/return multiple times to fake spacing between paragraphs
>manually push tabs or spaces to indent first line
>use any of single-spacing, one-half-spacing, or double-spacing instead of exact 120-140% of point size as line spacing
>serif fonts
Into the fucking garbage it goes. You think you're fancy or some shit, faggot? Fuck outta here.

You know you can typeset with sans serif fonts in LaTeX, right?

Greetings lay-tech friendo. Learning LaTeX right now from the Luke Smith youtube channel tutorial series myself and immediately I can tell how much better it is than Word. That shit with the bibtex where it automatically gives the citations is made my dick into diamonds.

How
Alright, pic related is a first gen iPad Air, it's almost 4 years old, will receive iOS 11, and can multitask even though it has only 1GB of RAM.
This thing still gets a solid 10 hour battery life, doesn't lag at all (A7 chip) and has a high resolution 4:3 panel that looks fucking great.
ITT: Try finding a 3-4 year old Android Tablet that is runnin Android 7, can multitask and doesn't lag.
Hard mode: find a android tablet that can multitask while having only 1GB of RAM
pro tip: you can't
not even android fans will defend android tablets
>>61209708
>Nightmare mode: find a android tablet that doesn't lag
>>61209708
Hey thats wrong, First gen owner here. The Air cannot multitask with side by side thanks to apple's buy the Air 2 campaign
>10 Hour battery life

>Doesn't lag at all

>Can multitask

Why aren't you using Red Star OS?
its literally the most proprietary software to exist
>>61233882
Red Star desktop environment WHEN!???
>>61233909
But communism isn't propertiary! It is the People's OS, owned by everyone. I hope you dont believe the (((((reactionaries)))) who spread false info about the Juche ideology and the Eternal President!
I'm upgrading my integrated graphics to a 2008-era card. I'm trying to decide between an NVIDIA card and an ATI. I'm leaning towards ATI, but one of my use cases is using the TV-out on the card. I have read that NVIDIA's drivers are superior when it comes to custom resolutions. Is this true?
Also, any card recommendations? Looking for low power consumption. Performance isn't that important because I have a Core i3-530 so anything should be better (my i3-530 sometimes struggles to play 1080p streaming video)
>>61233794
Do you live in Africa or something
ATI is long gone. Now it's AMD. It's like how Compaq is now long gone, it's now just HP.
>>61233803
No, I specifically need a video card with S-video out, and that year is about when both companies stopped offering that as an option. And anything from that era is better than the integrated graphics on my i3-530 which I've been fairly satisfied with for 7 years now as I don't play games.
>>61233818
Yeah, I know, but it was still ATI in the 2008-2009 era.
>tfw for the first time achieved a buttery smooth pad from init scratch

MIDI was introduced as v1.0 in the 80s and has not been changed, modified or updated at all since then, even slightly. That's really cool.
Is MIDI the only truly perfect protocol?
/g, redpill me about wire. How much botnet is it? Should I use it? If no, what is non-botnet messenger? Really desperate about this, looks like we can't communicate with people without being cucked by some government or corporation.
