Name a situation in which you would order a Cold Cut Combo at Subway
If I was on the verge of starving to death and there was no other source of food but a Cold Cut Combo at Subway, I might think about it.

The Apocalypse
The Cold Cut Combo, is not a good hero, you see, it features....
Well, it's just that it features the bologna, and well, that not a good meat for a hero, the bologna is really more of a meat you have at home because its cheap and kids like it, I see no reason to order a professional hero if it has it
If a recipe calls for salt and pepper (during the cooking process or as an ingredient during prep, not as topping when everything is already cooked) I just use montreal steak spice instead. Do it for burgers and meatballs, do it for some soups, do it for stir fries, what ever.
Ketchup on eggs fags need not apply.
>spice

homemade neutral is unironically better than literally any commercial vodka available.
What's the proper way to make Turkish coffee?

There's literally only one way.

The florets are good sauteed, steamed, or in pasta
The stalks are great roasted with garlic and paprika, or if yr feeling memey run thru a mandoline and deep fry, season with something like ground sumac.
Why does American whiskey taste like corn and sugar?
Scotch and Irish whiskeys taste like whiskey. American stuff seems to be ashamed of being whiskey and makes it taste completely different.
>established 2013
>their oldest possible whiskey is 4 years old
>>8952744
It was just a random picture really. I mean American whiskey as a whole.
probably because you're drinking bourbon which is literally supposed to be corn and sugar
If you buy your groceries from either of these then you're a filthy pleb

An Aldi just opened in my town and I'm curious about it. I dare you to redpill me
Guess I'm a pleb then cause I think aldi is the bomb.
I want to make some fake chili in my slow cooker. Fake chili = ground beef, beans, tomatoes etc rather than real chilies and stew meat. Which spices go well with this kind of fake chili? I find that slow cookers tend to dull herbs and spices due to the long hot cook time.
I don't understand making chili in a slow cooker. It only takes 10 minutes to fry meat and mix everything together?
Fake chilli is the best chilli. It really hits the spot. Its made out of construction paper.

Chili is supposed to be cooked low and slow for many hours. The flavor and the texture improves.
What flavour crisp/potato chip do you want to see?
a sriracha flavor that doesn't totally blow
English mustard
amaretto
I just turned 21 and I feel overwhelmed with the huge variety of alcoholic drinks available. I've been doing a lot of reading and googling, but there are so many obscure brands and styles that google doesn't seem sufficient, so I figured maybe this board could be of assistance.
I've tried a lot of the basics - cheap vodka and rum, Bailey's, Jameson, a variety of popular mixed drinks, a few different wines from California, and craft beer from a friend's brewery. From what I've found, I tend to like sweeter, stronger drinks with dessert or after dinner. I had pic related neat with a dessert at a restaurant and it was really good. I've also tried some port wine and sweet moscatos.
Where should I branch out from here? What are some other sweet, after dinner style drinks I should try? Any other recommendations? Anything obscure that I should be aware of? Also, is mead any good? I'm thinking of getting some but it's $35 for a bottle and that's kind of steep for something I may not even enjoy.

Personally for me, I hate sweet alcohol. I like gin, red wine, a variety of different whiskey's, vodka and dark beer. My personal taste now is a result of about 5-6 years of experimenting and trying various things. I am just about 22 now, but I don't live in fatland so drinking laws here are much more relaxed. When I was 16, I loved wine coolers and sweet things, now I hate it. I liked Jameson when I was 18, but now I find that it's too sweet of a whiskey for me. I resented gin when I was 17, but now, I love to drink neat brokers and I legitimately like the taste. My point is, don't worry about it so much. Try whatever you want. And if you don't like something now, keep experimenting with different things and after a while give the thing you didn't like initially another try. It is amazing how much your tastes and perception of things can change over time. Don't stress about having to become some scotch or wine connoisseur or whatever.

I've heard that from a lot of people who have been drinking for a few years. It seems the general trend is to start with sweet and move away as you become more experiencing.
It's just crazy to me how much shit there is out there. Honestly, until a few weeks ago I had no idea that there was this much of a variety, even in drinks that you'd think would be really similar.
Mix parrot bay and Mike's hard lemonade. Very sweet, and you'll get really trashed
/g/ here, can we have a stupid questions thread on this board?
I need some simple tips to keep my hubby happy, such as:
>the best way to cook a medium-rare steak (i like)?
>the best way to cook a well-done steak (he like)?
>tips on making the best mouth-watering brownies?
>is it true you can bake a cake in a microwave?
Lets be friends, /ck/
>>8948549
6 minutes per side on the grill = medium. Don't flip it more than once a side. Do not press down on the meat, or poke it with prongs.
Don't ever eat well done meat.
Fudgey brownies with chewy edges = GOAT, there is no other answer.
Don't cook food in nuclear ovens. The cake is a lie.
microwave baking is the ultimate mixture of rock bottom effort and high gourmet. literally mix any kind of flour, seasoning (sweet/savory), and liquid (water), and microwave it in a cup. a minute later youll have an entirely edible morsel
>>8948549
>well-done steak (he like)
Leave him.
>bake a cake in a microwave
On second thought you obviously lack the self-respect to leave him.
Thoughts on store-bought pancake mix? I know, processed food, but you can forgive it for being so convenient, right? Quicker, less cleanup and easier to make for one person than homemade.
It literally takes the same amount of time to make a home-made pancake batter as it does to mix up the boxed kind.

Super white trash.
I don't understand where bisquick stands here? Always used it and the pancakes turn out great
>They build a McDonald's in your town
>They place it next to a restaurant that sells good burgers for cheaper than McDonald's
>McDonald's still wins somehow
I just wonder how this happens. Are drive thrus really the appeal? Is the appeal the brand name? Does a Big Mac really just taste that much better?
It's like a brighter light. People will just head there, instinctively.
Buying shitty products is an American tradition.
There's probably someone out there that went without meals so they could buy a Garfield phone.
God, I'm ready to die.
>>8954720
Brand recognition, that McDonalds signature taste, and the fact that McDonalds has the Happy Meal are all factors here
>Does a Big Mac really just taste that much better?
Yes
McDonalds also serves breakfast, desserts, salads, chicken products made from their signature and famed McChicken etc, so they have a broad appeal as a food stop
What sort of demonic influence would compel a person to do this?
>>8954575
People who don't know how to cook and thought ''let's be innovative today! This article from the newspaper will surely bring me newfound ecstasy!''.
Holy shit did that person just apply heat to food.
