I actually prefer more natural/non GMO local artisinal pizzas made with organic ingredients that support local farmers. Some of the combinations that I often go for depend on seasonal varieties and I always ensure that large corporate ingredients such as pepperoni are no where near my pizzas which are often thin crust. Anyway my favourite toppings

Most important thing for any soup is the stock. Plain water is tasteless and textureless. You want a good homemade stock. It adds flavor and texture. And if you're into /fit/ it's also highly nutritious and high in protein.

You need a cured/smoked pork product to add to the pot while the beans cook. You can use bacon, a ham bone, smoked hocks, smoked neckbones, a chunk of old-school style country ham, etc.

I'd also suggest to start all your soups with a base of mirepoix. That's just a fancy name for finely chopped onion, celery, and carrot. You cook it in your soup pot for a little while, then when the onions go translucent you add your stock, other ingredients, and start simmering. This adds flavor and a lot of nutrition as well.

The liquor store thing sounds odd but I'm ok with it because there are a lot of tiny neighborhood shops where the wine selection is really niche and unique

If everyone could buy wine at Whole Foods and Fairway it would kill off these places and we'd be like California where there are only Bordeaux and Rhone knockoffs and the fun stuff would be impossible to find and stupidly expensive

Liquor stores would have to cater to the lowest common denominator to survive
