Do they really need to be that large? Can you not cut a tuna with a standard knife?
I mean you could cut it with a pocket knife, it would just take forever. You could eat pasta with a toothpick, it's just not ideal mate.
It's so you feel like a samurai cutting peasants like in the old days
>>8670830
I would imagine you get a cleaner cut with a long, single stroke of a very sharp blade.
What are you guys eating tonight?
>self control
>>8670818
Homemade pizza. It was ok.

Tendies? Fuck you're lucky man
Anyone else feel 711 is really underrated for food? Been going for lunch the last few days. Would recommend.

do you buy bottled water?
>>8670495
Unless you're a retard or live somewhere with shitty tap water you shouldn't buy bottled water
*tips*
>>8670495
Yes. The eggy popcorn flavor of my well water makes it undrinkable alone, and the amount of iron silt leaves my mouth and throat feeling dryer than before I drink it.
>>8670495
Do I look like an idiot?
In my part of the world, 2x50 cl water cost the same of a bottle of wine.
Does anyone have any cooking webm's like this? I had most of the stuff so I tried it and it was pretty good.
This is what I made. I would use 2 tortillas like in the webm cause my single one started falling apart.
>>8670474
What kind of sick fuck puts rice inside of a tortilla? Would you eat a rice sandwich?
>>8670497
>3 corn tortillas per sandwich
This guy is fucked in the head. Fuckin sick faggot.
Anybody here ever eat some mole crabs?
Not me but from what I hear, they're edible. You just need a lot of them to actually have a meal since they contain so little meat.
>>8670396
So they're sort of like even skimpier crawfish?
As far as I knew, these are basically sand lice.
>>8670400
Apparently, they taste like soft-shell crab. I never knew they were edible myself until recently either.
>meatball and spinach pizza
why is this so good, and why did it take so long for this to become a thing? my new GOAT pizza
>>8670363
I actually prefer more natural/non GMO local artisinal pizzas made with organic ingredients that support local farmers. Some of the combinations that I often go for depend on seasonal varieties and I always ensure that large corporate ingredients such as pepperoni are no where near my pizzas which are often thin crust. Anyway my favourite toppings
>Stinging nettle, potato and chili
>artichoke, non medicated organic grilled chicken breast, olives, roasted red organic bell peppers, feta and white pepper.
>Pine nuts, pesto, basil leaves, organic cherry tomatoes, pecorino romao and fleur di latte and a drizzle of balsamic
You know I would encourage most of you here to stop eating garbage like pepperoni and fast food chain "pizza" that is full of disgusting synthetic lab made chemicals and just switch to eating wholesome, artisinal goodness that is not only better for your body but supports your local farmers.
look at this beautiful bastard, you can't beat this pizza kino
Sounds good. I usually get mushrooms and spinach, and save the meatballs for when I want a calzone. Nothing beats a meatball calzone.
I just love the taste of a thick, juicy sausage in my mouth :)
They are so delicious. It's hard to stop at just one! I think that Savoies, Manda, and DD (mild) are probably the best.
Eehhh, gonna sage this.

If you love meat sausage you will love a wholesome vegan sausage as well!
The exact same flavors, but with the enormous satisfaction of knowing you are not consuming torture victims who are horrifyingly murdered.

So a few days ago I got drunk and on impulse ordered frog legs from a local vendor. Anything I should do with them besides sauteing or grilling them?
These remind me of my first girlfriend.

Your first gf was a frog?
>>8670016
Yours wasn't?
is it wrong that i like taco bell's "Mild" sauce? i feel like it has a bit more flavor to it than Fire when all is said and done. goes pretty well on eggs, too.
>>8669901
Well their all just corn syrup and tomato with zero spice or flavor so its litrally only you that thinks this.
>>8669901
I haven't had Taco Bell in ages but I remember liking the mild sauce a lot. Shiiiit, I might have to pick some up, I've been on a real scrambled egg kick lately.

what makes a lentil soup good?
beany soup secrets?
>>8669746
>>what makes a lentil soup good?
Most important thing for any soup is the stock. Plain water is tasteless and textureless. You want a good homemade stock. It adds flavor and texture. And if you're into /fit/ it's also highly nutritious and high in protein.
>>beany soup secrets
You need a cured/smoked pork product to add to the pot while the beans cook. You can use bacon, a ham bone, smoked hocks, smoked neckbones, a chunk of old-school style country ham, etc.
I'd also suggest to start all your soups with a base of mirepoix. That's just a fancy name for finely chopped onion, celery, and carrot. You cook it in your soup pot for a little while, then when the onions go translucent you add your stock, other ingredients, and start simmering. This adds flavor and a lot of nutrition as well.
>>8669760
Thanks
What are the proportions between the onion celery and carrot? What other veggies could I add just fill it up with more healthy stuff
If i only have access to store bought stock, beef or chicken?
>>8669801
store bought beef stock is absolute garbage
chicken is ok
What are the drinking laws in your state/country? And how do people bypass them?
Reason I ask because I've heard of some wacky laws in other states.
California here, we're able to get stuff till 2 AM.
Alcohol is banned im my county
Legal age for consumption is 18 years old.
Beer wine and liquor are available at your nearest corner store from 6 a.m to 11 p.m
You can drink at bars/night club until 3AM.
You can drive with less than 0.08% alcool in your blood.
Drinking in the streets tolerated, but the line is thin.
>>8669266
NYC, not a degenerate but offhand
>wine and liquor stores can't sell beer
>other stores can't sell liquor or wine
>brunch spots no booze on Sunday before noon
>otherwise it's a free for all
The liquor store thing sounds odd but I'm ok with it because there are a lot of tiny neighborhood shops where the wine selection is really niche and unique
If everyone could buy wine at Whole Foods and Fairway it would kill off these places and we'd be like California where there are only Bordeaux and Rhone knockoffs and the fun stuff would be impossible to find and stupidly expensive
Liquor stores would have to cater to the lowest common denominator to survive
I'm fine the way things are
What are your true thoughts on this?
It will do, and has done, in a pinch but I don't ever crave it.
>>8668354
Looks a bit bland, have to get some brown sauce over that shit
I really hate butter on pancakes
