>>8670582
This nigga actually knows.
>>8670892
It's pretty much sodium
>>8670892
it tastes disgusting by itself because there's a subtle bitter aftertaste and nothing else for it to enhance.
God damn right. I always have a container of Cachere's and of

Jane's in my cabinet.

Commercial:
TANY TACKERYS
BINY CLACKERYS
PIMMY GRACCKERYS
Find it in the grocery store!
>>8670091
flavor god seasonings are much more better and lower in sodium. creole seasoning is disgusting
>>8670091
It's nothing but salt. You can mix up a quick cajun seasoning with common and available herbs and spices you already have in your cabinet along with the "trinity" with veggies you probably already have in your fridge.

>Tony Chachere's
>not Zatarain's
Not a big fan of prefabricated spice mixes, but pic related is good shit.
>>8670091
This is the original Tony Chacere recipe:
26 parts salt
2 parts cayenne
1.5 parts black pepper
1 part garlic powder
1 part chili powder
1 part MSG
To make a small trial sample, mix the following:
salt - 2tbs + 1/2 tsp
cayenne - 1/2 tsp
black pepper - 1/4 tsp + 1/8 tsp
garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
chili powder - 1/4 tsp
MSG - 1/4 tsp
Note that it is a seasoning salt and should be used as a substitute for plain salt, and not with additional plain salt. It goes with "everything" because salt pretty much "goes with everything". You can exclude the MSG if you want, but that was in the original formula, and it really does enhance the other spices in the mix. It WILL clump up on you, and to help prevent this, add some uncooked rice in your container to absorb moisture.
Try it on eggs, popcorn, any protein, or any vegetable, because it really does go with "everything".....well, damn near everything.

My nig of nog
I respectfully disagree with your opinion and put forward an alternative
Goya master race in here
>>8672036
I just googled this and it looks fucking awesome, ancho powder is even the primary ingredient. Considering ordering some because I love to make chili every week or two
>>8670534
Agreed
>>8670096
No it's just the power of white trash.
Real americans wouldn't touch this shit.
>>8673251
It's basically MSG w/ enough Annatto added to turn whatever you're cooking yellow/orange.
>>8673520
You can get the sodium/msg free one that colors it less orange but it taste the same
Kek I'm not seeing a point from your comment saying it's not good so
>>8670577
The Extra Spicy is indeed superior
>>8670892
You aren't suppose to lay it on thick m8.
>>8673285
Yes do, I highly recommend it. I always use it in my chili.
