I've been in an LDR for two years, with a whopping distance of 500 miles between us. During these 24-months, I have been the sole person responsible for us seeing each other. Be it the bus, plane, or car -- I've always been the one who has gone the distance. I am 21 and she is 19.
However, my GF has never made the effort to come see me during these two years. She was finishing High School for most of this relationship, which kept her tied to her home state -- something that I do not hold against her. Additionally, she lets me stay at her place when I do visit her, which I am most grateful for.
However, now that she's about to head off to college, I believe that it's time that she make her way to see me (I'm actually going broke from the visits -- I had a job, but now am doing some freelance work which pays bills). She refuses to take off from her part-time Summer job, despite the fact I've taken off multiple times to come see her. I feel like the relationship is incredibly one sided as I've spent so much time and money to come see her -- I feel like it's time she comes to see me, especially after two years of dating. Am I justified for feeling this?
tl;dr: GF never makes the effort to come see me, relies on me to travel to see her. Am I justified for feeling like it's one sided?

I have an ex who is stalking me and trying to ruin my life.
I went out with this girl when I was 16 (I'm 27 now) and haven't seen her since we broke up. Our relationship was normal, but I'll admit she had some personal issues (depression, bipolar, etc). We "broke up" because at one point she had a weeklong breakdown and I kind of slid away. She never attempted contact.
Now 10+ years later I have a wife and child, my own home, and she messages me on Facebook claiming I'm the father of her daughter. I haven't seen this woman in all that time and she claims her 2-3 year old is mine. When I told her I wasn't interested in talking to her, she messages my wife and says in our relationship I "emotionally raped" her, whatever that means, and I was abusive/physical (I was not). Also tells my wife I've had several trysts with her and have a second family with her.
This all culminates with her messaging me my home address and work address, saying she's going to visit. I phoned police and tried my best to explain what is going on and they claim since no crime has been committed, they won't do anything, although they suggest I get in touch with them again if she shows up at my home.
I get messages every day, most of them unintelligible. I look at her Facebook profile and from what I gather, the father of her child is some 52 year old (wow) she dated 3 years ago for a couple of months. She tells me in messages she wants me to own up and take care of them.
What the fuck do I do? I block her on Facebook and she messages me through a proxy account (typically a friend). I fear for my family's (and property's) safety.

I'm trying to ascend from basement-dweller status by attempting to get a job. I've never had one before, but I want something that keep me on my feet (Dishwasher, retail, whatever). I'm worried that I'll be instantly looked over for lack of experience.
I guess my question is what do I write down? Do I just make some shit up then fix my resume when the ball gets rolling?

For sure don't make stuff up for a dishwasher job. If you're going into retail, if you've ever done anything that requires interaction with people, consider putting that down, but don't lie. Exaggerate maybe, but not lie.
Dishwasher might be a good start, particularly if you're getting out of the NEET lifestyle and need to take the first step. Best thing you can do is spew resumes everywhere that you feel you can do/are comfortable with then at the interview let your personality win them over and make them forget your lack of experience.

I had a job interview almost a month ago that went fucking stellar.
They told me they'd contact me a week later with the results. Two weeks later they still hadn't contacted me so I sent them an email and they told me "sorry about that, been a bit busy, we'll get back to you in a week or two".
As you might expected, they didn't.
So my question is, should I contact them again? Is that considered "dedicated/headstrong" or more "pushy/annoying"?
The reason I'm so careful here is because I don't want to fuck this up, it's a great company, and I feel like I nailed the interview.
Sidenote: It's a video game studio, and the reason they were so busy was E3.

In most cases, if you nailed the interview, a company would be falling over themselves to contact you. A week, during a busy period, is acceptable but over a week? It suggests that perhaps there was either a disagreement on the panel or perhaps you weren't successful.

I agree with the first anon. I have been on it a few years now. It prevents my panic attacks. It works for me but you have to work at it as well. It doesn't fix your problems. It helps with anxiety. I have noticed it made me gain weight and lowered my sex drive temporarily. The sex drive returned to normal but it took awhile.

So, I'm not a supertitious guy. I have been doctrined by my family to believe God, had a christian education (just to get my eucharist since everyone in my family has) and have lately become kind of an atheist? I mean, I believe the existence of the whole universe is a mathematical impossibility, so it has to be arbitrary, but I don't buy a lot of biblical things.
Lately I have had many encounters with black cats. On the street, at uni, even indoors at places they shouldn't be? Like metro stations and shit - pic related. They mostly just stare at me with those involuntary (I hope) demonic eyes and go their own way.
The problem is that lately I have had an awesome lucky streak! I found out I'm the single heir to a lot of money, my uni's grades have gone way up (even when I'm kind of slacking off instead of studying), my parents have been having their health problems amenized - it's crazy!
The culmination of it all was when a black cat (around 4 months old) turned up at my house. I took him in and took care of him. A few hours later I got a call telling me I was accepted for an awesome internship! I named the cat Lucky.
Even girls lately have been ogling me (maybe due to my newfound confidence after all this).
So, what the fuck is going on? I have been kind of unlucky my whole life, kind of miserable too through my teenage years. I'm scared this might be temporary or that I'm about to get hit by a stray bullet while walking down the street anytime.
What do you think anons? Is this Satan tempting me? Is it just a coincidence?

Yesterday I was robbed by 2 guys on a motorcycle, rookies, kids, 16 17 maybe, but the looked so clean, new clothes, no facial hair, hair cut short, dressed like supermarket clerks, I didn't suspect them for a moment, they pulled up, out comes the gun, stainless double action revolver, probably a 380, one fondled through my pocket for my phone, distantly mind you, whilst the other keeps the gun on me, as they remount the bike to leave, he has his gun lowered for a moment.
I step in to take a swing, he snaps the gun up to my head, I think about my wife... I step back.
My worthless fucking life, I could have hit him, I don't think he would have pulled the trigger.
Even if he did, I'd rather have died a man than living as a cowardice piece of shit.
I hate myself for what I didn't do.
I don't care about the phone, I wish I died with my dignity.

Hi Adv, got a question for ya.
So I've been seeing this girl casually for the past few months, we're both going our separate ways for 2 months while she travels China and I visit family in France (currently living in Australia, and she's Australian). As she's already left, and I'm not going to see her for a bit, I've started trawling Tinder and managed to match with a pretty attractive girl who sent me a message. We got chatting and she was quite keen, so we added each other on Facebook.
Herein lies the issue: I don't care what my friend gets up to while in China, but we discussed continuing it when we're both back home and she's quite keen. I'm also keen, and would gf her further down the road, but we haven't discussed our status/boundaries per say. The girl from Tinder went to the same school as her and she might also share similar friends (or at least similar friendship networks).
Is this too risky or wrong? I'd love to screw her, but if it's someone who she might know then the idea of having sex with her seems dangerous, despite our non-committal status.
