I'm struggling to find a job and as I didn't complete high school it's that much more up my ass. If on my cv I were to tell a little lie and say I completed high school just as a way to boost my chances, could it work? I mean the worst outcome is that I get fired right, how would businesses check?

far as I know, lying might work with no downsides. you can also get a GED or take intro college classes.

So there isn't a way for them to check? Man, education costs in Africa would bankrupt a tycoon.

I'm pretty sure they can do background checks and find you out, but don't quote me on that. I'm in the US and know people who've lied about completing college and they haven't been caught. I also know people who've been caught and fired. It's a ymmv type of situation desu
Depends on organization. I know at my job they ask for a diploma but I could make the argument that there's no way to check because no one has time to call schools and cross check credentials. Be warned that some jobs do. Like I heard the Feds so thorough background checks.
Construction
Warehouses
Restaurants
Airport
These places don't care about education. Just apply and be honest

There's an automated service interviewer uses to quickly do a background check. Fortunately for you, the service database doesn't cover smaller African countries.
One important thing, a major role of an interviewer is to identify the person if they're not insane and not lying. If you're going to lie make sure you practice damn hard on it. Tripple proof all your lies' facts.
I think it's worth a try, thank you those who responded.
