Why is it that those treading the Seven-Fold Sinister Way stress physical ordeals, physical training and indeed, reaching an elite level of physical fitness? Why is it so important for those who are endeavoring to become the sinister agents of preparing eorthe for the return of the Dark Gods to undergo such ordeals and training?

It was a few years ago now, I was still in high school. For years, my parents left me home alone because they both worked.

My brother went to his friend's house to play World at War, so I decided I would get a good fap in. Sound and all. As I began, I noticed that my dog had got up in the living room.

Her nails clacked across the wood flooring until I could hear the transition to dog paws on tile. She was in the kitchen... my brain immediately ignored the fluffer getting pounded on the screen.

She ended up at the basement stairs. Dead stop. No further, no shorter. Why? I put my junk away because fuck getting robbed and killed with my dick out.

I grabbed the aluminum bat I have at my bedside at all times. I walked as gingerly as I could across the floor: I checked corners, I opened every door and I made sure that the doors were unlocked in case I had to escape.

I was ready. The dog was still staring down the basement stairs. Her ears were forward. I still remember just how... concentrated she was. I knew someone was down there.

No one was in the driveway except my own car. The gate to the backyard was not open however, and the windows of my house were all intact.

Something was not right. I lightly approached the stairs. Step by nervous step. All my little hairs were standing on end. I tried to breathe lightly through my mouth but ended up nearly panting by the time I reached the stairs.

I anted up the bat before swiftly rounding the corner. There. Down the stairs. Was a coat. Not just any coat, a little plaid coat that I had not worn since I was five or six.

We had recently moved around boxes and bins to prepare for renovations. I let my guard down. I thought perhaps the dog thought it was an animal or something.

I let out a loud sigh. I remember it. I was so happy that no one was in the house; that it was just my dog being curious. Just as I turned to go back to my room and resume my glorious fap, I saw it.

In my other hand I clasped the Gideon Bible. Yes, the same little green Gideon Bible that the faithful old men dressed in their Sunday's best pass out every year at my street corner.

I held it so tightly that the cover crinkled under my fingertips. I put my back to the wall. My dog had a different approach. She sat just in front of the door. She stared at it for some time while I tried to calm down and rationalize the situation.

Just when I thought I had an explanation, my dog's gaze shifted from the center of the door to the crack underneath it. Then she laid down. She started sniffing. I started babbling like an idiot.

Every verse of the Bible my young, undevout self could muster I spat out like Slim Shaddy on "Rap God". I couldn't even keep my arm outstretched; I kept shivering too hard.

After a few moments of that, my dog sat up once again. Her gaze went to the top of my door, then back to the center of it. I thought that was it. Something I never believed in was now going to possess me or kill me...
