Who else believes this guy? Anyone versed in his ideas? Can someone tell me how exactly would there be a morphgenic field?
I've known at least one microbiologist who did. It's an interesting theory.
Have you seen, Trialogues at the Edge of the West? You'll see that Ralph Abraham also takes him seriously.

https://youtu.be/vv2g3vyvxO4 trialouge with Terrence McKenna, Ralph abarham and Rupert Sheldrake.
I think Rupert's idea is based on genetic memory, but he believes that there is some form of consciousness involved in the memory and it extends beyond inheritance, more similar to jungian's concept of mass consciousness. Only Rupert believes that it's species related.
Some evidence for this is the hundredth monkey effect (supposedly debunked) and scientific discoveries being found by separate scientists without the sharing or communication of any data. I believe he has better examples of this also.
Other scientists will ates that genetic memory is just simply a necessity of evolution and the reason we developed brains was to better interact with the world because they can store and process a lot more information then genes.

Huzzah!
Welcome to /sum/, this is the thread for anything to do with summoning (evoking, invoking, etc) demons and other things like gods and spirits
Want to learn about ritual magick, summoning etiquette, and roll around in all the inevitable shitposts? This is the thread for you!
>PLEASE READ THE STICKY http://pastebin.com/ZHPM0KVz
It contains a complete step-by-step guide to your first evocation. Don't forget to post your experiences and results (or lack thereof) here so we can all learn from them.
The curious, the skeptical, the critic, the practitioner, the babe, the Grand Magus, all are welcome here!
So we've been mostly focused on the goetics, but has anyone successfully (or unsuccessfully) summoned anything else? Non-Goetia demons? Angels? Ancestors? Elementals? Ross from Friends?
I'm considering trying to work with some elementals next. I have not had strong successes yet with the goetics.
>>17978018
The elementals are supposed to be very hard to summon and they're reportedly quite unstable. I've heard Angels are easy to summon (if you have pure intent) but most people won't see/hear anything, just feel their presence.
No matter what you summon, make sure you take necessary precautions and ALWAYS make sure you are talking to what you think you are. Demons are notoriously able to lie and are able to take the form of anything. They only do what will benefit them.
>>17978039
Strange, I've heard the opposite - that elementals are easy and Angels are very difficult.
do you old-timey witches still exist -- not that new age or wicca stuff ?
Sure, traditional practices are still used in latin and south america, as well as africa

You seek to live deliciously, do you?
This is a new thread since the last one died.
>Any movie considered /x/ material is allowed
>Discuss the movies if you want
>Don't be a dick
Also has anyone seen The Hills Have Eyes 2? I just watched the first one and I want more, but if its trash then I won't bother.
The movie is pretty bad, but Slash did the soundtrack. Its pretty cash.
Time Lapse made in 2014. I was pleasantly surprise at this hidden gem
the coplaps of the skyscrapers in ney yorke was predicted years before to happen.
there were many kids shows like the Simpsons who gave a clue that the buildings are about to be blown up.
OK knowing this i am aking.
Which are the new warnings, which are the new hints in the movies for the near future.
What should we pay attentions to?
what
Funny thing about that, they never become predictions until after [it] happens. We never seem to notice the warnings until after the event occurs either.

oh sure but there must be somebody who noticed something

Hey /x/. A friend and I are going to drive over to Centralia PA tomrrow, get high as fuck, eat shrooms and camp there the night. The initial idea was to camp in Centralia, but I'm a little worried that we won't find a safe/legal place to park the car. Wouldn't want my friend to get tickets and/or towed for some stupid bullshit. So I figured we might rent a camp site in a state park 30 min east of Centralia (for when we get tired of exploring the town), leave our car there, hike out into the park and set up camp somewhere. Of course we'd rather just camp for free and do it in the town itself, but I'm not sure that's a legal/safe option.
So what I'm asking is, does anyone know any safe/legal parking spots/camping spots in Centralia? Have any of you camped there? Will we get bothered by police or are we cool?
Also, general Centralia thread. Best/spookiest spots? Experiences? Etc...

In sleep paralysis the most recurring "beings" that show up are shadow people. What interests me is the shadow man, but with a hat. What's up with that?
I saw the documentary "The Nightmare" (2015) and he showed up there too, but turned out to be an authority figure, like one guy tried to fight back two normal shadows, he was winning and then the hatman showed up and scared the shit of him back into normal waken state (or at least that's how I remember it).
Here's another really wierd case: in a ayahuasca session, a friend of mine got into a bad stage of the trip and lo and behold, hatman was there. He's never heard of sleep paralysis before that.
So, who is he? why the hat dude? it's out of style.... or at the very least, what would he represent in the subconscious mind? do some of us see the hat as scarier and/or more authoritative?
He's even in the thumbnail of "The Nightmare" trailer in youtube.
So 1930-1950 fashion huh?
Actually the first living memory i retain is me meeting the hat man at around 5-6 years old
Hey /x/, long time lurker here.
I want to summon an incubus. How do?
Pic not related. Well, maybe a little.
>>17991828
Hey bro.. an incubus is a dude.
>>17991833
I'm aware of that.

Fag
What is your favorite lovecraftian/eldritch entity? I think mine would be the king in yellow, but I wish the concept would be more explored since I personally think he is the most uncanny of them. SCP-701 and a creepy pasta called "the puppet masters regime" both explore the concept of a play that causes you to go insane or invades your mind and further elaborate on what the king in yellow could be.
>>17991564
Underrated thread.
I'd have to go with old Nyarly. Showing humans elder secrets causing them to "go mad from the revelation." Also he's pretty much the ultimate troll.
>>17991564
The king in yellow IS a play bud.
It's not an entity.
That being said, the hanged king of alagadda and his ambassador are pretty neat.
SCP-2264
As for other eldritch horrors...
That one giant thing from Greek mythology that just chills in the ocean and sucks in everything in the area is neat.
>>17992056
Just because it's a play dosen't mean it's not an entity
saw humanoid figure dash across my peripheral vision, wasn't "shadow people" was more pronounced that I actually thought someone walked by really fast. When I realized it wasn't anybody I got a real bad 'something isn't right' feeling and got goose bumps. did I just legitamelty see a ghost?
Try talking to it, ask jesus christ or archangel michael for protection first. If no response it probably is just a residual energy

lol fuck religion

>I actually thought someone walked by really fast. I got a real bad 'something isn't right' feeling
You witnessed a black person committing crime, congratulations.
Hi guys, this is my first post on 4chan. I love anything related to the paranormal or occult. I'm an astral projector & an empath. I'm also a huge horror fan. Just trying to chat with some like minded people on this forum & have some fun. Let's talk about some cool scary stuff!
>>17991280
You are a stupid mother fucker. I am going to psychically send some demons to your house to torment your stupid ass forever now.

OLDFAGS OF /X/!
Has anyone of you remember the name of the creepy saran wrap/plastic wrap body cast doll some art student made for their project and posted it on /x/ way back before the /b/ raids were a thing?
I remember that they posted a pic of the saran wrap doll in a playground, it wearing a blond wig, yellow hoodie, and blue jeans.
The creepypasta that went with it said that supposedly the doll moved on its own, and went missing one day - but that's about all I can remember. Does anyone know, or even have the picture of what I'm talking about?
>>17991246
Bump. Anyone?
Or maybe anyone have similar creepypasta involving dolls, art projects or something similar?
>>17991246
Yeah, I know what you're talking about, but I forgot her name. Maybe Carol or Karen? Not sure. Last time I tried digging up archives, none would work. The story wasn't really THAT great, though.
>>17992261
Yeah, the story wasn't that great, but I believe the pictures could be used in new, scarier ways.
Fav songs about the paranormal? Godsmack's "Voodoo" really seems to do it for me.
and if you dont know who the woman in the pic is, you don't know shit.
Most death grips songs
How about a song called, "Use the Fucking Catalog"?

SpongeBob is stupid, I dunno if 'fake' is the right word for it though.

Idk if you're being sarcastic or something but i'm not talking about the image,i'm talking about the embed
its hard to say. nothing flashy so you cant call bullshit right there. its the only vid in the channel and it was uploaded 6 years ago
hard to make vids if you go to jail. there is something odd with youtube you may not know unless you play with proxies. the entire site is segregated by region because their servers are all across the planet
long story short other regions front page and recent vids ect are different. its not until something gets a few thousand views or is in a popular channel that it goes global with copies on other servers
data is exchanged between their servers using much higher bandwidth lines than residential connections get to create the illusion that its all on the servers in your country
anyways if he uploaded it with a proxie and a bs google+ account it might explain how his account name is in english and every comment is like portugese on youtube
something you dont do for art. something you would be more likely to do if you just kidnapped some one and wanted to brag
