Also what does it mean to be "enlightened"
>>17987422
To be free from the illusion of ego and the chains of desire.
Follow Buddha's Eigthfold Path and meditate.
>>17987422
In the words of Jiddu Krishnamurti, "Any idiot can meditate." Enlightenment is a subjective process inclusive of not "getting rid of ego", but not being controlled by it or identified with it. Doing this requires a great deal of studying, holistic embodiment using several methods, psychological/ emotional processing to heal childhood traumas and other wounds, etc.

New readers should post that they're offering readings and what information they require from a querent.
Look for their posts in the thread to determine what's needed and before posting, check if they finished reading already.
Some readers will refuse to do certain readings -- respect that choice. Also, bullshit queries will get bullshit answers.
An "air query" can be made to no one in particular, but no one in particular may answer!

Hello /x/
First, let me give you some backstory.
I live in Poland in a village near small city. The village is big, more than 2000 inhabitants. The standards of living are not bad and most houses looks nice. Except houses near abandon railway station. Why is railway station abandon you may ask? It's because trains aren't really that popular anymore after Soviet Union collapsed. There wasn't really anything wrong with this place, it was very climatic and a little mysterious. I used to spend a lot of time there when I was a kid. And here my story really begins.
I will continue my story in next posts and I'll post images as a proof aswell.
Rattle my bones!
Waiting....
Story time:
8 or 9 years ago I was walking with my buddies along railway tracks. We was casually chilling out, talking and stuff like that. Then one of us (maybe me, maybe not) saw a small bone between the tracks. Normally we would ignore that shit, but somewhere around this time we was really into "mysterious and cryptic" stuff. You know - cryptids, mysterious cases of people vanishing etc. So we've tooked the bone and swore to "solve the case". On the next day we've came into the same location with plastic bags and shoe box to "store evidence". Our first step was to establish some kind of "headquarter" where we could meet, share our ideas and hide evidence without bringing it to our homes. We've chosen abandon railway station, but it was highschoolers favorite place to get drunk, so this idea was quickly abandoned. But near the railway station was small area surrounded by some kind of stone wall, around 7ft. tall. There was a lot of grass inside but it wasn't very high so we've quickly managed to made to the other end of the area and there it was.
Two big blue bags filled with bones stuffed in the corner of the area. This bones were much larger than the one that we previously found on the tracks. We stood there for like 10 seconds, stunned. Then, one of us picked a few bones (one of the bones was a shoulder bone, I remember that much) and put it into his shoe box. Obviously, after doind that, we've run away. After discussing what the fuck did we just encountered we decided to put the shoe box under few rocks near the abandon railway station and call it a day. On the next day we came to the abandon railway station once again, but our shoe box wasn't there anymore and it was really well hidden. We got scared by this and the case was abandoned.
But it isn't the end of the story because I've finally managed to went there again.
Continue in next post. Sorry for the delays, but I don't operate English perfectly. Forgive me.
It's illegal for any spacecraft to land at or even fly over the Apollo landing sites.
The Apollo moon missions were faked. No man has ever walked on the surface of the moon.
https://www.nasa.gov/pdf/617743main_NASA-USG_LUNAR_HISTORIC_SITES_RevA-508.pdf
The astronauts floated around in LEO while unmanned probes went to the moon. It was a big lie.
It has been proven that astronauts faked photography from their ship to make it appear as though they were halfway to the moon when the truth is they were orbiting earth in LEO
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BN8onEfnR0k
The film used in the supposed 'moon footage' featuring men hopping around in suits would have been destroyed by the extreme temperatures of the moon.
In many Apollo pictures/films the film technique known as front screen projection is extremely evident. This is a technique where a large curved screen is built behind the set and images are projected onto to create the illusion of a different environment. Usually a mountainous moonscape in the Apollo footage.
If you look this up, you will notice the actors/astronauts are always in the foreground of these shots. There are literally 10,000+ images online to pore through and confirm this for yourself.
Come at me. No man has ever walked on the moon.
Actually they just gave a private company permission to land on the moon.
Not on the Apollo sites of course, because those are historically significant.
Flying over them isn't a problem. Quite a few craft have flown over them since.
And it was more of a bouncing motion than a walking motion.
NASA did a pretty good job, but they made some glaring mistakes. For instance, here is a photo of the lunar rover
What's wrong? Well... there are no tracks. How did it get there? Did the astronauts lift it up and drop it straight down on the ground?
You would think there would be tire tracks
>>18011757
>flying over them is not a problem

What's /x/'s opinion on immortality? Do you think will it ever be achievable? Or is a way already discovered but kept as a secret?
>>17995291
>already discovered but kept as a secret
I have some investments and work close with Dmitry Itskov, the founder of project 2045. This is his life mission; if it existed, he wouldn't be pouring millions into this.
I however disagree with his route of achieving immortality. I don't believe uploading your consciousness into an electronic device is the way we will accomplish this. Nano computers implanted into tissue will aid and repair the body as it ages and decays.
Its all about genetics. Not nanites.
Preventing telomere shortening. Improving DNA repair mechanisms. Chromatin dynamics, Controlling hetero-chromatin availability.
There are jellyfish species which are immortal. they cycle through their life cycle ad infinitum. starting as larva entering a growth phase when resources are favorable and then reaching reproductive maturity.
Once it has reproduced it reverts to the larval stage and continues.
Imagine if, once people reached middle age, around the time women reach menopause, that a genetic switch was flipped. their bodies reverted to a state like the beginning of puberty.
elevated epithelial cell turnover, scar tissue degrades and is replaced with normal tissue. fat is burned off rapidly. Gaining muscle becomes easy again.
One of the main issues is getting the brain to survive for m,ore than a standard lifetime
I hear the Masons use anal sex to prolong life.

Also: Meditation General.
If this board doesn't prove to be unbearably toxic, I will renew this every time it becomes archived and hopefully it becomes an essential. How can anybody here even pretend to be spiritual without meditation of a regular basis? Without exercising metacognition, your thoughts are most likely restricted to existing somewhere in the spectrum of business related thinking and accidental thinking. One must expand their consciousness to thinking outside the box.
>>17988491
Any good guides or books on the topic?
>>17988492
Yeah, I read a few back in the day.
>The posture of Meditation
>The yogi science of Breathing
>Dhammapada
First is far more technical. Second is a bit into the psuedoscience genre. Had a few more reads but not entirely to recollection.
I am not entirely convinced that anybody can draft a self-driven spiritual claim without mediation. If one does not actually posses the attention span, or patience to know the benefits of meditation, then they are most likely ACCIDENTAL THINKERS. Ironically, these people would benefit the greatest from meditation and are the least likely to practice it. The benefits are rooted in concrete science and known to be what we should all add to our lives. On a psuedoscientific notion, many cultures (specifically Eastern) have meditation as the core for spiritual vitality.

In the Village where I grew up, this cat ( Pic related) has been at the same crossing for the last 12 years. It's a nice cat.
I first met him/her 11 or so years ago, when going for a long walk with my friend, it's one of the only things to do around here, so we would explore and fuck around on the moors until the sun started to go down, at which point we would head home.
On the first night we met this cat we had been with my friends older brother. Lets call my friend N, and his Brother Jay.
Jay Tells us that it's a missing cat and it's been a stray for at least a year and that no one really knows whom he belongs to, though he usually hangs out by the same area about a half kilometer away from my house.
We see the Cat every now and then during our time at primary school, we saw less of him when we were old enough to drink.
Not really spooky, but it looked at old when we first saw him, 11 years later I am back home from the summer and he is still there.
It's just one of the many little odd things that we have, Will list more. Feel free to contribute.

In the Village where I grew up we have 3 or 4 playgrounds, 3 of them were the stage for suicides and one of them an accidental suffocation of a child.
No one ever talks about these apart from those of us that were young when they happened in the early 2000's.
My Village is a somewhat up and coming area and talk of this would have detered families that planned to move into the new build areas.
No one leaves flowers, no one talks about it.
No new articles were ever published, you can only find evidence for it outside of the minds of locals at the local council office.
We are the central village of a whole bunch of smaller ones so we get our own council. This has always been that way, even before loads more people came. Before we barely had 1000 people living here, back in early 2000.
You'd think that would be common knowledge but it's not.
I had a cat once but my mom was allergic so we gave it away

Something closer to home.
There is an old Lady across the road from my house,
She doesn't live alone though i've only ever once seen the daughter she lives with.
The Daughter, my neighbours say, is very sick and I believe them, she was thin as a stick and could barely walk when the amulance brought her home a few years back.
It was early evening and I was sitting on the pattio with my brother drinking beer and smoking. We dared not ask if they needed help, she was so thin. Frightening, even for
highly mature 18 and 16 year old country lads.
That's the first and last time we saw her, It must be the only time she left her house in abour 6 years.
I am always polite and greet the older Lady from across the street because that's how I was raised.
She has a lot of trash bags that come out of her house though, just a very odd thing but I see her house every day and her every other day, but to have someone my age in a place as small as this that i've only ever seen once is a very strange thing to me.
