Have you seen a UFO, an alien life-form, a strange unearthly phenomenon or all of the above? Maybe something completely different?
As long as it's related to UFOs and aliens, tell your story here and discuss others' experiences!

I drove in the woods and I saw it was an ayy lmao
I had a dream last month where i was at the beach with a bunch of other people and suddenly the ocean just sunk and everybody was falling into the hole that was formerly the ocean and then some otherworldly creatures put on some space dvd about how we humans are stupid and to stop killing eachother and be civil
Thats the closest ive gotten to a space alien.

I admit there may be a force that we're not aware of, but you can check force due to gravity, electromagnetism, strong/weak nuclear forces, etc. and your computer and chair are going to exert more force than the all of the planets combined.
There might be some truth to the moon having an influence on behavior; something able to generate tidal forces surely could do something to people and anyone who works in EMS/healthcare will tell you that a full moon brings out the crazy.
When I was young, we lived in a house built by my great grandfather. After my aunt and her children moved out, we moved in. I've stayed a couple of nights before hand and have always heard the crazy stories my cousins told me, anywhere from shadows to full apparitions. To continue on with my personal experiences that I can not explain, I first started to feel a presents day or night, to the extent of even sleep paralysis. After a while I remember having a pool table in the basement, never liked going down there but every once in a while we kids would play a few rounds, we noticed that every time we took care of pool stuff, later that day or night it would be all over the floor and even once I remembered it being set back up as if someone or something was about to play. Protip: Either finish the story or don't. Don't come here expecting people to beg you to finish your stupid story.
Op here...
Besides the pool incident, we would have brown outs (the sudden dimming of lights). But it only happen in one room at a time. My first experience with the shadows was simply terrifying. I was about 8 maybe 9 years of age and my siblings and a couple friends were playing hide and seek in the dark, the first time I saw it, I was hiding in my closet which was just an inlay in the wall with shelving, I hid on the bottom just past my cloths. I got real good at holding my breathe and keeping it so calm I can hear my blood course through my vains. As I peered up to see if my eyes adjusted to the lack of light, I stared off and could hear my heart beating like a drum next to my ear. That's when I saw it...
It was a dark shadow figure, standing just in my doorway, too tall to be my dad or mother, definitely taller than my friends or siblings. The shape looked humanish, but the head looked way too weird, like sharp points all around it. I could feel it looking at me and I was so scared stiff I couldn't move an inch, let alone say anything, I ducked my head back into the shelf and tried so hard to not make a sound hoping that whatever it was didn't see me. I dared to pier out again, and it was gone, I started crying and my friend came in and turned on the light, I was a shaking mess, noone else saw what I did that night. This was not the last of what happened in this house.

So I'm pretty new to the whole Tarot thing.
I've begun to use the Osho Zen Tarot set, witch I find to make the most sense for me. But, one card, I really don't understand the meaning of, and I keep drawing it, when ever I ask anything related to myself.
I'm hoping some of you guys with more knowledge on the subject than I, can help me out. The card is (as the picture shows) the "Past Life" card. What does that card "mean"?
There must be someone here with more knowledge on this subject than I have!
And I would really appreciate your help.

I have successfully astral projected 4 times, all unintentionally. However, whenever I try to willingly, an intense fear takes hold of me and I desist. For example, last night I was basically projecting already (could see my own face and astral body was making very strong attempts to detach) but I was stricken with intense fear and my heart rate rose very greatly. Don't expect to get quality replies given the current state of the board, but if anyone can direct me to a place where I can ask such questions, it'd be appreciated. Picture very related.

Am also curious. I'm stuck in the same boat, I can my leave, I get mad scarred. Even thought a demon was attacking me for a sec. Wished I could done it when I had the chance.

*cant even leave.

That's part of it. When you hear the extremely loud static noise that's when you just want to relax. I know it's easer said than done but it's something you just need to power through it or I guess relax through it. When I finally did it I just kept telling myself that no matter what happened im not going to die and just basically went for it and I did it during the day so it wasn't as scary. I thinks it's more like a dream that you being in the real world as it is the real world but you can tell it's not it a weird way and nobody was around when I did it.
There are hundreds of religions that many millions of people follow. Each one of those people believe that their religion is the correct one. Some even have 'proof' that theirs is real. How does one define the concept of reality when almost everyone has a different theory on why we are here in this life and what our purpose is. How does one define good and evil when people have put labels on these things that have meaning when millions will say an evil thing is good and a million more will say that good is evil. How does one identify the real truth.
If you look at the moon everyone calls it a planet so then it's a planet.
If you look at an apple everyone says it's an apple so it must be an apple right?
No one has physically seen God, Baal, Satan, Buddha etc.. So then does that make them real or imaginary illusions we have adopted to find meaning in a life we have yet to completely understand?
Discuss?
The moon is the moon not technically a planet BUT I do see your point And I find it perplexing yet very thought provoking.
>>18010673
not really, half of it is bitching about semantics and the other half is "whats self awareness hurrr"
>>18010665
Many people have incorrect or mistaken beliefs, and differing opinions. That has nothing to do with the abstract concept of reality. Reality and a purpose behind existence are two entirely different things. Good and evil as moral constructs only have objective meaning if derived from a supreme authority.
Empirical facts are true, they can be substantiated.
Stop trying to be deep. You're the shallow end of a kiddie pool.
My sister just showed me this picture, it was taken by her friend in his home from a security camera.
Some background: her friend is dying from a brain tumor, has a history ofor drug abuse. Also, my niece (5) has apparently said that a 'man is following him' when he visits my sister.
To answer you first questions, no, nobody was in the house and no, he has no means of faking such a thing.
Any thoughts?

Does anyone really believe in spiritual healing? I mean, there are some documented benefits in meditation, but what about stuff like crystal healing or sigils? Anyone carry around gems or minerals for psychological benefits?
Lately I've been stressed because of debt, family, and restlessness. I used to do meditation but the calm quickly dissipates as I am left in reality. I haven't slept well in the past couple of weeks and I began smoking more than I previously have. I've been thinking about trying crystals, specifically lepidolite, as I try to get a job and get enough money to move away from home, but I feel crazy to consider crystal healing. So I'm wondering, does anyone use crystals as a way to heal themselves?
>>18010281
work with an iniatory system of some kind
the gatewalking system in the necronomicon is pretty good for this, but you can pick what you want
the secrets will reveal themselves to you and your earthly affairs will become easier to deal with. the healing will come, you will be okay my friend
>>18010295
but to answer your question, crystals are generally hubs of high vibrational energy
use them as focuses when you meditate to vibrate yourself higher, but don't rely on them.
you wanna get to the point where you can meditate without them.
>>18010300
i also recommend you read astral dynamics by robert bruce so you can better understand how the energy flows inside you, without dogmatic shit attached to it

Hello, I've been pretty damn interested in the occult, Divination, and generally things beyond mortal understanding. However I am also in college to be a chemist, so I have a hard time rationalizing my desire to believe in the supernatural with the scientific consensus. has anybody seen, recorded, and tested anything supernatural with basic scientific rigor? Or has anyone at least tried to record and test something?

uuuh. I'm going to guess not?

First time visiting /x/ after probably a year, as gonna post the same thing.
I remember asking this a few times before, and I was always told to fuck of, thought today I might get lucky.
Basically when I was into this stuff, the closest I got to any hard results is stuff like NLP, but nothing on hard magick or occult that was supported by experiments or even something you could try on your own.
I'll be monitoring this thread though.

How is this like Meatsleep?
There will never be some kind of alien invsaion. Highly intelligent beings would easily destroy or kill all life on the planet if they wanted to.
If an aggressive alien race was able to get to earth, they must have the ability to travel at the speed of light, or more likely even faster.
If thats the case they wouldn't even need to come to earth themselves. They would just fire thousands of missiles through space at this speed at earth, boom, planets gone. Amirite?
And if they just wanted to kill us, they would be smart enough to design a chemical bomb that targets humans - fire it at faster than light speed towards earth - boom, were dead.
A malevolent highly intelligent species of alien surely doesn't exist.
Why would you kill a planet, before learning everything you can from it.
>>18009417
I think that you're making the mistake of attributing omniscience to these supposed aliens. The universe is so vast that even the most technologically advanced lifeforms couldn't be faulted for being ignorant of our existence.
If they exist they probably don't know that we exist. Or we are of little consequence to them so why even bother.
>>18009417
A possibility exists we could be exploited as sport, similar to what we do to ourselves.
