What kind of spirit or entity creates an image of a baby doll (like the one in the photo) that disappears when you get close like a mirage?
When I was around four my family took me on a trip to Peru which is where I first encountered this entity. While at my grandparents' house in that country, I would see this doll in random places in the yard or house, and I would get curious and approach it and then it would vanish once I would get within a couple of feet of it. Sometimes it was during the day, sometimes it was in the middle of the night. It didn't seem to matter.
After I left Peru I didn't see it again. A few years later I went back to live in Peru, in the same house. I kept seeing the baby doll again, same thing. Popping up in random places, only at that house, and disappearing once approached.
This stopped after a few months, but I never saw anything like it since. Nothing's ever weirded me out more. Does anyone know what might cause this? I think I asked about it before many years ago but didn't get much of a response and most of the answers seemed silly to me. I'm going to try to approach the topic again with an open mind.

It is October 3rd, 2060, and you are anticipating a second term as the President of the United States.
Three ambassadors from an intergalactic civilization descend from the heavens to meet with you and your cabinet.
The physical and technological capabilities shown by these ambassadors imply that they are entities of unfathomable power.
Behind closed doors, the ambassadors state that they see the potential for Earth and its inhabitants to achieve ascension.

And what do these aliens really get from this deal? It doesn't sound like they would benefit from this deal, it just sounds like it would drag them into a intergalactic war because Earth was invaded.

I will only do so if these ambassadors promise technological weaponry that can be modified to not effect Earth life, but all other life AND is as destructive minus the 10000 years of radiation as the weapons I willbe disarming.
Anything less would require Earth be given the technology to advance to a place quickly where we can begin inhabiting other places in the cosmos so that we may continue on forever.
If these needs cannot be met I'd let the ambassadors know that without substantial definitive proof of their kind nature they will be regarded as an invading clandestine threat.
Guys I just had a shocking realization. What if We've been interpreting religion all wrong. I know this will sound crazy at first but don't discount it yet. What if Jesus was really just a alien and was sent down to earth to try and advance our race by getting us to work togather and cooperate. And the rapture is just going to be a mass abduction of all the humans they see fit to survive and not die before the world goes to shit. And by "created in his image they mean we're literally just clones or a similar life form left on earth to be observed.
