Tell me again why this series gets so much praise? Is it just the pixel art? Because the gameplay is far too coin-grabby and turns from fun to frustrating very quickly if you haven't memorized the arbitrary stage layouts.

No, my complaint is that the difficulty stems from manipulative arcade-era design choices that are typically shunned even in retro games. An arcade game with poorer graphics would definitely catch flak for having unresponsive controls and invisible/cluttered sprites.

Maybe you just need to research a bit better. Don't pay attention to IGN's "best N64 games" lists, it's all 1st party always.
If you want to find the good 3rd party stuff, you got to do your own work.
Hint: as per with Saturn, a lot of good shit never left Japan.

Did you beat the scooter level in Battletoads as a child?
My parents only allowed me to play 1 hour a day. I think I've tired to beat that level over 100 times. I always got stuck there for more than half an hour and then get my playing time for the day was over.

Funnily enough, I beat Battletoads and Double Dragon, but still couldn't beat the Turbo Tunnels in the original.

Out of this pile? Its tough. Robocco Wars is awesome, at least I really like it.
Evangelion is a guilty pleasure, but I think its a fairly solid title.
Goemon 2 is great and obviously is Super Metroid (I bought them because I the English versions are too expensive). I also have Harvest Moon for the Super Fami.
Its hard to pick just one, so I'd say its a tie between the Goemon 2 and Robocco Wars.

The 3DO controller has 3 face buttons, 2 shoulder buttons, and a start and select button.
SF2 requires six buttons so for the 3DO game one of the start/select buttons is used to do moves.
The game lets you redefine buttons.
What is the best way to play:
Use the select button for the slowest moves - roundhouse kick?
Map the select button to the least useful move and then don't bother pressing it - which move to sacrifice?

Soo, this game cant get out of my head, i think was one of the first games i have play when i was a kid, i dont remember if it was release for snes or genesis maybe it was for the 2, all i know is that the first level was a snow one ,it was a action game , wolverine was the protagonist i think but i could not found any x men games that have a snow level, soo anyone knows?
