What are all of the games that have revisions/version differences? For example, Ocarina of Time has three different revisions (v1.0, v1.1, v1.2) that all have different content present.
I'd like to know of every game that has multiple versions and the differences listed in detail so I can know I'm playing the best revision of that game.
Sure let me just type up a full and comprehensive list of every single game that has different versions for you.
>>3561368
there's literally hundreds if not thousands, no one is going to give you that list

Google jas aéé the amswerps.
I'm starting off with just random webms and some OC if you wish to contriboot
Emulator shots? Not on my /vr/.
Can /vr/ recommend some Famicom Disk System games? The wiki has, like, 5 fucking games on it for some reason.
I have the ability to burn games onto a disk, if a game is text heavy but has a translation.
So far, I'm looking at
>Ai Senshi Nicol
>Kaettekita Mario Bros
>The Mysterious Murasame Castle
What else?
Games I already have are:
>Famicom Tantei Club: Kieta Kōkeisha
>VS Excitebike
>Mario Golf U.S. Course
>Namida no Sokoban Special

Did the FDS version of famicom detective club finally get a translation?
Metroid
Legend of Zelda
Otocky is a pretty good musical game and a precursor to Rez
What /vr/ games allow me to customize lots of shit?
I don't care about the genres. I just want to customize/upgrade/manage my characters/vehicles/whatever.
Custom Robo 1 and 2
Xcom
I thought that was a zaku and there was a gundam game on psx that I missed somehow
but that was no zaku, boy. NO ZAKU.
Alright guys, any tips for an early GT virgin like me? Just got this game today and can't quite get used to the driving physics. I'm normally used to GT4, and as far as I'm aware they tweaked up the physics in that one a bit.
Also, GT general thread, I guess.
Keep practicing on tracks and hopefully get a feel for the game. One of my favourites is the one with the mini forest in the middle. If you love the game you won't find dedicating time to understand the physics. Also I'm not sure if 1 and 2 have tutorials as the earliest one I've played was 3. If not, remember that every car functions differently when reacting to breaks, turning etc. Also the most basic advice I can give you, if say you were making a right turn remember to be on the left side of the track and when turning you want to be turning turning towards the right, not already on the right. When you're confident your car won't under or overturn, you can accelerate.
I do better with the d-pad in early gt it is pressure sensitive too. start in a low pwer car and work your way up, dont start the main game until you can international a license.

take that back only ps2 was. mixing up contrillers.
>Boot up random arcade game
>Is wonderful colorful and fun
>Boot up another random arcade game from a genre I don't even like
>Is wonderful colorful and fun
Why are arcades so great, what makes them so good bros?
Because they were designed to obtain a million allowances worth of quarters.
>>3560815
But modern games do that too and they are not as fun
>>3560798
Part of the Arcade Culture. If your game was not good, it could not be featured in an arcade because it would not attract revenue. Thus, many developer would put much time and effort into the quality of their arcade game, so as to make sure that the game will stay popular for years.
The other two games in the third Sega 3D classics collection have been revealed!! Alien Syndrome and Columns!!!

Sorry for the bad screencap, I didn't realize the top portion was like that.
A waste of the last two spots, I feel.
At least this drawing of mary is both sexy and cute.
>ABP
I never see anyone talking this le hidden gem. Do you guys like this game?
>>3560507
Like most Sunsoft games of the era, the music is pretty awesome.
DESU, it's not a good game. I mean, the weapons suck, and upgrading it changes patterns. Also, your bullets stopped dead when it hits a wall, and there's narrow corridors, meaning you have little chance to kill anything or survive.
>>3560698
*To be honest. Not desu.
What does /vr/ think of pic related?
Best non-arcade X-men game.
War of the Gems is better.
>>3560468
No.
Hello, /vr/...I was in Goodwill and found this in its original packaging. I sunk $4.99 into it.
I'm new to games and have no idea what I've picked up. Did I do good?
>>3560442
If you don't know what it is you'll have no idea how to use it. Maybe worth $5 if you collect this sort of stuff and don't have the patience to wait and find it for $1.
>>3560442
It looks like a pack of 3rd party add-ons to those games it mentions. I hope you have them installed.
hey guys what are some cool military games where it's got stuff like armies and tanks and helicopters and stuff
Could be nostalgia but I loved jumping in and out of tanks.

Rush'n Attack

>2P Mode in NES POW
Is this a mock-up or did someone actually hack POW to allow up to two players?
what game should I play on my retro win98 pc with a 3dfx voodoo 2?

Complete list of games that use glide for ideas.
Unreal.
If you're like me, this image will remind you of money well? spent.
Do you remember all the crazy shit that went along with it? I remember a magazine i used to read (this is the 90s, no internet) comparing screenshots from Voodoo cards to PowerVR (i had one of those as well) and other cards as well.
Like the image quality was different and not just the performance? Was that a meme?
I think the most I paid for a card was like $200 for a Diamond Monster 4mb Voodoo. It was worth it at the time.
>that logo before the game started on Need For Speed 2 or Turok etc
Aww yeee.
I was tech at the time and a tech i worked with ordered 2 Voodoo 2 12mbs on release, it would have been a fucking fortune.
Internet, like playing quake online back then, would have cost a lot back then too, i never touched that shit! LANs if anything, mainly single player for me :)
I wish play Mechwarrior 2 Matrox Mystique limited edition but there is no way to emulate the Matrox Mystique on modern PC.
>>3560008
>Like the image quality was different and not just the performance? Was that a meme?
No, Power VR doesnt use a passthrough cable like the Voodoo but has more rendering problems instead.
What are some weird obscure PSX games?
Pic related is Jumping Flash, basically a cross between FPS and 3D platformer.
Nigga, that was a launch title, it isn't obscure.
It's just nobody knew how to make 3D platformers yet.
>>3559956
Jumping Flash is honestly better than most 3D platformers in general
Jumping Flash is pretty well known, and was a 1st party Sony title (although the developers who did it were Exact, who worked on Sharp X68000 games before that, Geograph Seal is basically a proto-Jumping Flash).
Play the sequel as well, Jumping Flash 2: Big trouble in little muu, it's pretty great.
Why did Third Strike look so shit compared to Second Impact?
For everything that they iterated on in the final Street Fighter 3, it seemed like the stage backgrounds took the worst beating.
Why do people care about stage backgrounds again? They're a fine addition when done right, but it's not like the game would play any different with a pure white background.
>>3559927
What a boring attitude. Why not get rid of music, sound, color, and character designs too? Let's have a fighting game where stick figures fight on a flat line with zero sound effects. All that stuff is useless anyway.
>>3559934
Some former SNK guys actually did something like that
