Parappa the Rapper and Um Jammer Lammy.

You can finish them both in an afternoon.

Abe's Oddysee (short and sweet, sequel is much longer though), Crash Bandicoot (2 is the shortest and best), Resident Evil (any one, they're all around 3-4 hours long if you go in blind).

Enjoy your music that runs at 1.5x normal speed.

Fucking uncalled for, man. I never seen anybody shit on this game. It's one of the few Treasure games, along with maybe Alien Soldier that doesn't have haters (apart from the anti-Treasure guys who claim to hate every game they made, but I doubt they actually played the games).
It's just a fucking good game, fuck console wars.

What video game is that?

There are many elements that are present in /vr/ games that just aren't incorporated in modern day games. This is coming from someone who isn't even 20 yet. Not because they are old or "different" I like my share fare of more recent titles but there is just this distinctive charm and style about older games that just draw me in that newer games cannot. There are so much that I can choose as examples for what I mean like SotN, FF6, Sonic CD, Maro RPG, Seiken no Densetsu 3, Super Metroid, aLttP, I could name so much more.

What are your favorite old skool games and why do they stick out to you?

No video game is worth playing for the story. If you want a good story read a fucking book, or at the minimum the transcript to a video game.

It'll save you hours and have the exact same impact.

Asking because I want to get into the Warcraft lore and never played anything before 3, and that had great story and lore.
