Last I checked the Threezero Guts preorder was almost 100$ cheaper than the newest RAH Guts. Problem is, I heard their Getter has trouble holding its axes. Now Guts has a much bigger accessory and much smaller arms. Id hate to preorder something that cant be posed in mid swordswing.
I have no experience with this 1/6th scale or the 3A/Threezero lines. What am I in for?
Dunno about 3Z, but with the seamless arms it'll probably end up being shit regardless. The RAH's sword is hollow and relatively light, so posing him swinging it is easy.

It doesn't have ankles so it'll look like shit regardless.

Anyone know of a release date, or anymore information for this guy?

anyone know a decent source for packaged wholesale gachapon toys?
I'm thinking of renting a vendor space at an anime convention and setting up gachapon walls like pic related, but I can't seem to find a seller that sells wholesale. I already have a source for the machines, just not the toys.
>>5848178
Alibaba or Rakuten global market
>>5848209
I'm not finding anything on either site like what i'm looking for.
I'm looking for licensed anime/game figs, not toy froges.
something like pic

I don't know if any of you would know this, but I'm gonna ask just in case. I bought this Br'er Bear plush from a thrift store today for 84 cents. It's 16 inches tall, has the vest and hat with it and is in good condition. However, I don't know what year it was made, and it doesn't say on the tag. Do any of you possibly know?
>>5848089
He's most likely from around 1992 or early 90s. I have the exact same one. I got it from Walt Disney World in December 1992, the Splash Mountain ride he features in had only just opened two months prior so they were cashing in with merchandise.
>>5848096
Ah, so he's pretty old. I got really lucky with the price considering the age and quality then.
>>5848101
You can usually get a good timeframe from the tag since Disney World changed its logo in the mid 90s.
Any clue on what this little fella might be?
It reminds me of some monsters from Dragon Quest...
some kind of pokeman
mchappymeal toy from burger king for that new phone game probably
thats Pubs McGoiter, one of the UK's "Blokemon"
I posted in the wrong thread earlier so here it goes again.
noob question here:
I wanted to order a figure from amiami but I live in banana land central america and sending stuff here is a mess so I was planning on using a freight forwarder in the US but how does the delivery work in the states? do you have to pick up packages at the post office or do they do a drop off also what about US taxes?
>pic related
thanks!
I don't live in the States, but I use forwarder services all the time.
The package gets delivered to the company, you don't need to pay taxes as it's from Japan. You just need to cover the figure's cost + shipping to Japan->US + middleman fees. They repackage everything (if necessary) and send it off to you.
Keep in mind that, since you need an account at Amiami to purchase anything, you should contact them beforehand about it.
As for the package itself, it can either be left at the PO (so you'll need to pick it up), left on your doorstep, or the mailman knocks on your door with it. If you live in an apartment, you'll most likely get a delivery slip to pick it up at your closest PO.
>>5847665
>figure's cost + shipping to Japan->US + middleman fees, and then your own shipping from the US.
fixed.
It's gonna cost a lot extra. It might just be better to pay the custom fees, which I assume you have in your country, than paying for a middleman.
Unless you plan on buying multiple figures and have them undervalue it or something.
>>5847669
gotcha and thanks for the info, the thing about sending it here is that I'm pretty sure it's gonna get lost or damaged so I would rather pay the middleman.
And the thing about my forwarder is that they are not gonna go pick it up at the PO, the packages need to be dropped off but if that's what they normally do then it's no problem. I think
>figma is already expensive as hell
>AmiAmi raises price from 7,580 yen to 8,030 yen
>shitty no cancellation policy
>EMS prices just went up and AmiAmi has always been higher than most
So what's the advantage of buying from this store again? Best case scenario I save $5, worst case scenario I save $1. Yes, ONE dollar depending on if the exchange rate gets worse like Japan predicts. I remember when AmiAmi used to mean saving upwards of $15-25+ on figma. There is no reason to put up with their inflexible policies if you're not saving money. Pretty sure this one will end up hitting the bargain bin anyway regardless of how popular the character/franchise is.
The fuck are you on about? Gilgamesh is legitimately one of the most expensive non-bundled Figmas they've ever put up for sale, It's not amiami, look at his price in other stores too, he pretty much comes with two full torsos and a fuck tonne of other crap

I'm saying you're not saving money with AmiAmi anymore. This isn't a complaint about the price of Gilgamesh, it's a complaint about AmiAmi having shitty customer service and prices just as high as the competition.
I can order this from local shops in America for $5 more right now. Or HLJ would have also been just as cheap (they are sold out now) because their shipping costs are so much lower. I repeat, what's the point of using AmiAmi anymore?
I have no problems cancelling with Amiami I've been doing it for years now. I think people like you are just scared and autistic at asking.
The price is decent for what you pay for. I pretty much stopped using Amiami as its much easier to manage things with the HLJ stock system.
All in all your complaints are hardly anything to bitch about. Stop being a cheap ass or get out of the game.
Oh booooy!
Something arrived in the mail!

Why not? It's the ANH era.
I hope this movie focuses on the "War" aspect of Star Wars, looking good so far.
Hasbro's SDCC stuff is supposed to be available today sometime. Its already listed but not available.
How are you sure it's not that they were put up for sale at midnight and sold out?
>>5846622
Ah, TFW2005 threads say they were listed at midnight immediately as sold out, which suggests they were never in stock and will be later.
Huh. I don't even see the 3-pack or anything from any other brand. Just Fortress Maximus and that tablet Soundwave from Asia.

What's out there for accurate or moderately accurate toys of ancient animals post-Cretaceous? Bonus points if they have articulation.
This set from Marvel's Savage Land has an inaccurate-but-articulate sabretooth.
>>5846107
Did they run out of time on designing the set and had to cut corners with Zabu? How did they think that was perfectly fine?

Yes.

So preorder a figure that has no relation to this one on their website that marks up prices and shipping cost for a nearly essential effect piece? That is the sleaziest thing I've ever seen
