Hey 4chan I wanted to make some money, I read that people buy plushies on eBay like nothing. Would I be able to make any decent money with these? I have more than these but these are just a example, i will post more and of course I'd clean them before putting them up
Hello,
Does anyone have any experience using a wax or removable adhesive on hinges and joints, so they hold position better?
If so, any suggestions on material? I have some Lego kits I picked up second hand and the articulations have more play than I'd like.
or other similar items. also i think the name may have changed. still own the same bottle from 2010.
best thing about it is that it's not superglue so it makes a pretty good temporary adhesive. if you make a mistake, you add a nice shine to your toys. also it smells good. also lego joints are weak because the c-clips are usually bent out. a little coat of it will help though

Excellent, I have some of that already (I use it for a paint modifier).
Thanks anon!
This worked great on my Clover Polynian, and it worked just as well on a couple of Figmas that had loose knee joints. Also worked on ball/socket hips, and neck joint on an Ultra ACT.

Holy shit, that Dreadnought looks great.
Who made it? Do instructions exist?
How does /lg/ recommend I go about creating an Ashley J. Williams minifigure?
1.) What hairpiece should he use? I think Supes would be a great fit.
2.) What torso should he use?
3.) How would his chainsaw hand be replicated?
4.) How would his shotgun be replicated?

I'm not sure so don't quote me on it, but they "might" be what you call Toys.
Whatever the fuck happened to Mio Boutique? They used to be easily accessible. Ever since they moved/merged with PROXYRABBIT JAPAN, I don't see them listing any new pre-orders for exclusive or limited edition stuffs. Am I missing something here?
>>5857377
As a longterm user of /toy/ I never even heard of them. Either I really missed out or they are suspect.
C'mon... I'm pretty sure there are ex-Mio Boutique customers here on /toy/; we used to recommend this place for exclusive pre-orders. Where have they gone?
Only did business with them once; not sure what happened but put in a order for MG Heavyarms anyway to see if it's reliable.
Are these things worth the time investment?
>>5857153
is anything?
if you just want a party trick you'd be just as well off learning card tricks or yoyo tricks. I don't think there are kendama competitions like there are for yoyo tricks though. Not sure what the question means desu
>>5857153
I have about two just to pass the time. Spent about $20 on both. The $100+ Mugen Glokens aren't worth it. Go cheap on Kendamas.
Was a fad in Singapore a few months back for a while. Mildly funny seeing the kids fiddling with it while walking or riding the trains.
Yu Knoe?
After tackling a lot of Xenomorphs including old kenner designs, I'd love to see NECA attempt Sil. A monster arts would be cool too.
Also Wheres the Predalien NECA?
>>5857312
>NECA doing anything fanbase wants earlier than 100 years after interest dies haha
Believe me, I knoe
What are some good figures of horrific beasts?Bigger the better.

I want an extra body for my Hot toys Harley. Her hands and head should fit on it.
What's the best brand for this?
Hot Toys?
They do have blank bodies.
>>5855669
I found some before but they're about $200 which is as much as paid for my HT full figures.
>>5855671
Yeah, finding blank female 1/6 bodies is a toss-up between rare and wallet-rape. Unless you look for 3A female bodies, because those are common as hell.
What's the worst looking officially licensed product you own /toy/?
>>5854406
I'm talking things people actually shelled out money for.
That Saber is a bootleg, though.
>>5854411
Is it? I know that kosmos figure is from the collectors edition for the game.
First time me coming to this thread. Just started getting into unresponsive yoyos. Anyone else playing around? practicing? experiences?
>>5853647
I actually just got into them last week. Pic related is my new throw, a MagicYoyo n12. I swapped out the stock bearing with a Buddha Whipple and it runs great. Lately I've been working on the tension reducing trick for unresponsives:

Pic actually related this time
Make sure you get your binds consistent, as well as the trick than speed. Learn Magic Drop, Whips, and Slacks when you feel confident enough. Green Triangle, variations also come in handy. Thrower for going on 3 and a half years now. I use mainly me YYF Shutter, I also really enjoy my One Drop Gradient.
Super Iron Man figure?
Iron Man rocks the cap.
>>5853558
how is this thread even toy related?
just end this thread already
Are there any chances of this guy being re-re-released since there's going to be two new seasons of FLCL coming next year?
If not, is he worth the price? I know it's a pretty penny but I'm seeing some listings for him for $250 and others $350, is there any reason for the difference?
Also are the ones listed as "Reproduction" from certain sellers legit, I see that he got one re-release already, is that what they're referring to? From the looking around I did there doesn't seem to be any bootlegs made of him so seeing that confused me.
Small chance it will re-release for a 3rd time for the new season.
Pinch your asshole and hope for it otherwise prepare to pay the market up price.
You know the guys behind the thing, They will whore shit out of the franchise and make us all happy. Now, will it be a Sentinel or a figma, or whatever, we'll see.
>>5853272
It'd be cool to get a figma of him but the one thing that's drawing me to saying fuck the price and getting the Sentinel is just how much cool shit he comes with, I doubt another figure of him would come with all that stuff.
I was just at Target and saw this; 6 inch action figures for girls. DC Princesses and Miraculous Ladybug figues.
I've never seen this before, I thought girls just got 12 inch fashion dolls and the like.
>>5851604
It's kindof meant to be like a go-between of typical superhero action figures for boys and the fashion dolls for girls.
Admittedly they did find a pretty alright compromise and were smart about how they did this line by going with plastic hair and outfits with rather good levels of articulation so it's like a proper action figure, just with the stylization of a fashion doll.
>>5851604
no waist articulation? is this aimed at toddlers?
Every since superheroes became really popular in movies and TV shows girls have been wanting toys of female superheroes. For a time they didn't make toys of female superheroes for kids. When they did they were collectables for adults .
Katana action figure from DC Superhero Girls.
