Have you bought Creamsicle Prime yet and his orange delicious goodness yet?
Or did you go with Grape No Neck Faygo-tron?

Hasdrones have no standards. If they don't buy every Hasbro product and stand up for St. Michael Bay, they're lives aren't complete.
>>5841430
>buying any of the shitty voyagers.
Alright, this pic makes me want a playset that is more than merely a setting. But what is the best option for ONE purchase?
It does not ned to become a robot, it can also be a planet, ship or other form of object, but it does need to be worth the price, even if it comes underpainted from it's potential.
I also would prefer one mode to be somewhat compact, for storage or similar.
>>5840215
How is that blaster? The fan made dance stand mode is sweet looking, but how is he alone?
>>5840215
>>5840533
For Transformers, Titans Return Blaster is loads better than Prime in base and bot mode. As for altmodes, Prime has a little better play with Titan figures, but not significantly. Fortress Maximus is definitely a standout just purely for his size, but is actually quite barren as a standalone.
Imaginext and Playmobil tends to have better generic stuff occasionally and work for the miscellaneous small scale figures usually.
Toys R Us still has a generic line of 3 3/4 toys that has bases and some of the FAO Schwartz are classy toys.
Other than that, toy bases aren't as common anymore, except in the building toy lines.
Lego uses a lot of brighter colors usually while Megablok uses muted and metallics, McFarlane sets do their best to hide pegs.
Skylanders has a few playsets to actually have something to do with their figures physically.
>>5840577
Yeah, some of the playsets work really well with other lines
Fuck.

Why
the fuck
is this so expensive for a vinyl toy??
What is the best Shin Godzilla figure atm? Preferably tall and no articulation
I know the movie is going to be bad
ass
It's expensive because it's a highly desired prize figure. It also looks really good, and is pretty much your only option for a good representation (for now).
If you don't want articulation, just wait until the inevitable X-Plus. Otherwise, go SHMA or NECA (just wait till reviews are out).
>>5839843
It's the A prize fro a lucky draw distribution, so numbers are limited and you can only get it via scalpers if you're not actually participating in the draws.
>>5839843
Nothing is "better" than the replica of the actual model made by the designer.

For those unfamiliar, "Plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model." If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.

***GM Group Build***
Rules:
Pick an HG GM, and paint and customize it. For it to count as a GM, it literally just has to have GM in the name of the MS on the box, otherwise, no, it doesn't count. As far as customizing it, I'm going to place a limit on that. The limit is 50% additions to the kit.
To define 50%, look at it like this, you could take a GM Custom and replace the arms (including shoulders), legs, and backpack and I'd call that 50%. I'm not counting handheld bits in that. If you're unsure of something please ask in IRC, the thread, or email.
Due Date: 8/12
Submissions go to
Submission format
Please submit photos in jpg via a compressed file (zip, rar, or 7zip), please don't link images to imgur or photobucket or the like. Please also name yourself, even if it's a pseudonym. Also indicate your participation in the contest below.
***Contest***
Instead of doing just a generic group build this time, there's going to be a prize pack. The prize pack will contain a GM Sniper K9, a set of glass paint mixing jars, and a Tamashii stand (sized for HGs or RDs). Shipping is at my expense.
Rules for the contest:
If you wish to enter the contest I'm going to actually need some proof. Please send me pictures of your kit as a work in progress and a final product with a timestamp and your email address. I hate to put his burden on you guys but this is the internet and people suck.
Judging
Regardless of who wins the contest proper, all entries will be made available on a blog post on Saturday, August 13th. Actual judging will take place Saturday as well, with the winner announced that evening. The winner will be contacted via email and be given a two day grace period for responding. PLEASE USE AN ACTIVE EMAIL WHEN SUBMITTING!

Your challenge this month is to design a Microfighter for a vehicle that doesn't have one yet. It can be of any property, as long as it has 100 or less pieces, seats 1 minifig, and is cute and chibi. Get swooshing!

52,565 JPY (46,990+5,575 S&H) order due tonight. Politely requested (almost begged) for a week extension, even noting if possible I would like to send a 50% deposit in good faith, but was denied. I've spent a decent amount each month ($200-400), so I thought I might be granted one.
I'm short exactly $178, and that's not due to spending elsewhere or adding too much to the order irresponsibly. Did work for a company and because there was a dispute over the number of hours, the $300 I invoiced has yet to be paid. Going on 17 days, and they have 30 days since invoice submission to pay (though I don't know how much of that they'll send, as they said they felt I did 50% more hours than expected). These were people I called friends (family friends anyway), and never expected them to act in such a shitty manner.
A loan isn't possible, and everyone I know is hard-up for money, so I can't ask anyone even if I can pay them back by next Monday.

Are you living paycheck to paycheck? If you don't even have $500 to play with in a bank account after all expenses of living are covered, you are doing really bad in life and need to stop buying toys. Them banning you would be the best thing to happen to you.
>>5832333
Honestly anon, you sound like you got royally screwed over.
Best thing to do now is change up your address/personal details you might have attached to that order + your AmiAmi account and hope for the best.
Can anyone identify this Iron Man? I've been looking for a Select-scale Iron Man for a while, as all of the Select figures so far have big flaws (which is odd for what's become Marvel's flagship character). This one looks pretty nice.
>>5830765
I think its just the Legends Extremis Iron Man. The paint looks different, but it might just be the light.
