Let's hear em /tg/, the absolute worst experience you've had at a store. Inb4 "things that didn't happen".

>Autistic fat fuck at our store wearing leather trench coat and fedora, absolute stereotype made real.
>Grumbling about 8th edition.
>Girlfriend of one of the guys in store sits across from him to sit next to her boyfriend.
>She takes her sandals off under the table.
>Fat fuck starts breathing heavily, staring down between his legs.
>Some of us get worried he's having a heart attack.
>He gets really upset when we try to ask him what's wrong.
>Starts shifting around in his chair alot.
>Suddenly he gets up and goes to the bathroom.
>Girlfriend gets up to leave and says "hey where are my sandals".
>People look around for her sandals for a few minutes.
>Fat fuck is still in the bathroom, keeps making sniffling noises like he's blowing his nose.
>We haven't figured it out yet.
>Gets to the point where she's worried she'll have to walk home barefoot, manager offers her a pair of flip flops he keeps in the storeroom.
>Fat fuck finally leaves bathroom, but doesn't flush.
>Usually he stinks the place out, so when he doesn't even flush we expect a wave of fucking putridity.
>No smell.
>He grabs his stuff and leaves pretty quickly, quickly enough that when we get suspicious he's already gone.
>Manager goes into bathroom and finds a pair of cum-stained sandals.
>Girlfriend retches, goes outside to throw up.

And that's the story of how our local autist got banned from the store. He came back the next day and refused to admit what he had done. Only when the manager threatened to call the cops did he leave and not come back.

Why are War Game players so fucking boring? I went to a Game Workshop yesterday to watch a game of 40k and the battlefield looked fucking amazing with stuff like dragons fighting mechs, orks driving a huge destructive car through everything, huge battle ships, 5 tanks.

It was a cool sight to see but the players acted like it was all nothing and played with no enthusiasm, they just layed out the stats and acted like they were plying a board game. Are most War Game players like this?
Legit asking as a usual player of RPGs.

What system should I use for a science fantasy combat game?

I wasn't impressed with Numenera. I'm thinking of just reskinning 4E since my players almost never roleplay and mostly want to bash monsters.

I'm fed up with GWs stupid imba point system. I'll give an example to see if you agree. Land Raiders vs Ghost arks.

LRs are 357 points GAs are 170. For a 187point difference you would expect to get a lot more from your points, instead you're paying for 2 more wounds, a 2+ save and some lascannons. With the GAs having 14 wounds, immunity to heavy weapons and an ability to repair + extra RP rolls, how are they balanced, you can bring two GAs for the price of one LR. I wanna know how a land raider is over double the points of something with such value. And its not the only example.

Pros:
>Great builders of fortifications, especially underground
>Great weapon smiths, most should have masterwork weaponry
>Sturdy
>Long lived

Cons:
>Slow, can be kited to death
>Basically useless in any open terrain

Are Dwarves at all capable to exist outside their underground cities where they have all the advantages (assuming they do not build 20x20 ft large corridors to allow dragons to roast them alive)?
