Hey /tg/ this is going to sound very fetishy but I promise you it's not. I need some reason why elves would prefer anal intercourse over any other kind, can you help me out?
>>53995826
Cause they're faggots.

>I need some reason why elves would prefer anal intercourse over any other kind, can you help me out?
If they had Cloaca's, technically normal intercourse for them would be anal.

Are Beast Races still furry if they are not anthro and purposefully unattractive?
Kinda want to make them tribal/savages humanoids.
>>53994861
Everything is someone's fetish. Just roll with it.
>>53994861
Nothing is 'furry' unless it was made specifically as fetish material for furries by furries.
>>53994861
I thought furry specifically meant anthro?
Pick your favorite /tg/ related character.
Now pick one of your own favorite PC you've played before.
Now pick your favorite /tg/ related monster. The character you chose is on a mission to impregnate a member of the species of monster you chose. Your PC is sent with them to help them in their quest. Up to and including finding a wizard/Admech/diety to make this possible.
Tell us what happens.

I dunno, a bunch of cute white haired purple eyed beholders following him around calling him Daddy would be fucking adorable. Like floating fluffy beanie babies.

Fucking wizards man. When will they stop?
I've been having issues lately with building characters, i dont know whats wrong. i have come up with 15 different ideas for characters but none of them really pull me in.
what can i do? has anyone gone through something similar where no character they come up with is even fun?
maybe i can just get some ideas for stories to read? just branching out my tastes might help. i dunno.
im not worrying about "muh cliches" or making him super unique, i just dont like any of the shitty ideas that come to mind.
Well, post a few character traits/ideas that appeal to you, and we can try to help you out. As for advice on how to get through your funk, try to take some time to explore different stories you might enjoy. Be it books, games, movies, whatever, seeing some other ideas can help spark new ideas in your noggin, and get your creative juices flowing with new perspectives.

i like characters that are usually glass half full characters, even if theyre not explicitly good or bad they try to keep positive.
Generally they make me and the other players laugh even if the in universe consequences are bad.
i bounce around from playing the parties face to the party support character depending on the group of people I'm with.
I've played a couple things in my time and the one I've liked the most is the "Charming fool" character, but it would get old if i ever over played that.
but I've played many other things, the only thing i really didnt like playing at all was the lone wolf.
thank you, I've seen /tg/ has an approved literature thread every now and again, ill check the archives for something .
>>53994432
Alright, this is a good start. Lucky for you I also love the charming fool type character. Now, what type of setting or game do you see yourself playing soon? That should help us narrow down some specifics for these characters.

Besides WoW and D&D, where can I get some polymorphs to hit enemies with? Turn them into sheep or squirrels and such?
>>53992678
MtG. Well, I know the system has it but I don't know if it's available in any of the current jumps. If it isn't, you can probably still engineer it though.
That are most recent jumps uploaded to the drive?
I've been getting curious about dice and the math behind them.
I was wondering if you know of any usual combinations of dice, or usual methods of counting them that you can use in order to get strange results?
Pic related. If you roll three d6s that are marked with {0,0,1,1,2,2}, then it basically makes a curved version of a d10's results

11nVOW/Bain_Introduction_to_Prob_and_math_stat.pdf
Chapters 2 covers random variables (a die is a discrete uniform random variable) and chapter 4 covers joint distributions (multiple dice)
It's an undergrad text, so it should be too difficult to understand.
Check for astragalomancy, roll 5 d4(sides 1,3,4,6).

Defining values at the edges of the spectrum as exponential can lead to highly unusual results.
Splitting a task up into a few rolls can lead to unpredictable results. For example, I heard of an adventure that was played in a world where magic could become unpredictable. Whenever you used a spell or a magical item, you had to roll 4d100. Roll 1 was for the deviation from the intended effect. Roll 2 was for whether the resulting effect was beneficial or malignant. Roll 3 was the severity of the resulting effect, Roll 4 was the scope of the effect.
The party entered the game world through a portal and found a magic book that was supposed to tell them about the game world. But the player who activated the book rolled:
> 01 on d100: complete deviation from the intended effect
> 01 on d100: the effect was completely malignant
> (1)00 on d100: maximum severity
> (1)00 on d100: scope was the entire game world.
The book malfunctioned, opening a sphere of annihilation that destroyed the entire game world over the duration it was supposed to work, which was five minutes. DM let the party escape back through their portal.

In 8th, can ANY unit regardless of unit type or battlefield role seize objectives now?
In 8th is it better to play the Soul Grinder as a melee or artillery unit?
It doesn't limit Characters to a specific style of play, is descriptive enough yet naming is simple, and best of all, it just solidifies the fact that Golgari is top-tier.

Well done.

It's still a bit limiting within color interactions, but I generally think its a pretty cool setup.

How to create a monotheistic religion that isn't a rehashed version of chrisrianism (with a few jewish elements)?
I've seen a few fa/tg/uys saying that (fantasy) religions with a single god are the best but I've yet to see one that isn't some abrahamic rehash or dragon crystal jesus.
Do you have any good ideas or approachs to a single-god religion that are very different from the three big religions?

Just go with the flow.
Kavara the grand serpent sang the world into existence but failed a few verses causing demons to exist. Kavara still sings but slowly so that life may grow.
One day you will die and be re-sung but eventually Kavara will fail your tune and you shall become a demon.

>we told Steve to rip off Tolkien in his setting and he did it, the absolute madman
We all know that the decks that came with the recent Archenemy set are total shite, so what are some things we can change about them to help balance them out while making them all a little stronger (and maybe add some more theme flavor along the way)? I'm thinking of mostly scrapping the base decks entirely and rebuilding them all from the ground up. I'd like to use a nice mix of new cards from Amonkhet along with good old stuff. I want to keep the theme of red DPS deck, white defensive deck, and GU supportive deck that adds much needed card draw to the mix. We can also adjust how many of each Scheme card is used and which ones are added from past sets or dropped from this one.
What are some must haves for each deck and what numbers would you use for them? Any spicy cards that you think would make this endeavor more fun? Any suggestions are welcome.
What exactly is archenemy, and what is planechase?
>>53990305

Anon, are you even trying? Just google "mtg archenemy" and "mtg planechase" and you'll have your answers.
>>53990323
No I ain't trying. I was gonna add a "I value /tg/'s opinion far more then google" caveat to my post but I figured that even if it wasn't implied, OP'd appreciate the bump for what will definitely be a slow thread but maybe I was wrong.
