Xth for how should I run the 6 aggressors and 10 reivers I impulse pre-ordered for this weekend? I was thinking boltstorm gauntlets and bolt carbines and shoot from over 12 inches away with the raven guard chapter tactic

I was thinking a bit and came up with a army concept.

GSC do their thing on a hive world and pretty much take it over, only to have the world bombed to hell and back by retreating imperial forces.

With the hives reduced to a toxic wasteland and the hive fleet nowhere in sight, the remnants and their benefactors decide to pack up in what space ships are left and travel around the galaxy spreading their special flavor of love to anyone who gives them the time of day... and bring battle to anyone who won't.

They keep a petting zoo in the cargo hold of their largest ship. Occasionally particularly devoted cultists like to feed the trygon, but most on the ship are apprehensive about that level of direct commitment to the hive fleet. Still, the trygon rarely goes hungry.

I was thinking of having the neophytes run and gun with shotguns to be a nuisance and to soften targets up for the bugs to snack on. I like the ravener and trygon models, just something about those snakelike bodies...

Let us poll what sides the Xenos(es) showing up want to take during the Campaign.

So, for those of you that don't know, hundreds of people are disappearing off the face of the earth every year in national parks. So, this is pretty fucking weird right? Well, it gets weirder. Let's say a group of hikers were walking about. Since I'm bad with names, we'll have them be hikers A, B, C, and D. Suddenly, hiker B goes ahead of the group, heading behind a rock. The rest of the group follow along, only to realize B is gone. No trace of leaving at all.

lets say they ran back to a sheriff's office or something that's nearby. They report it to the sheriff, and they send out a search group. There's nothing. B just disappeared.

A few months or a year later, let's say a new group of hikers, H, J, and R, find B's dead body a few miles away on a really high mountain. They report it to the same sheriff, and they're all like "wtf?!" Because they checked that area many times seven years ago. They go and take a look at B's body, only to find fresh food in their stomach.

What are they hiding?

Got problems constructing the plot more than anything. If I know exactly what I want to write the words come out naturally, but before that I have to outline the actual story and I'm struggling with connecting all these great scenes I have in mind. Makes me question how I was able to finish a novel at all.

I used to be that way and now I'm all flipped around. I think it's because I don't write to an audience anymore, just for myself. And nothing sounds right to me so I stop a lot.

Then when I do write for others, mt confidence trips all over itself. It's a negative feedback loop that I'm trying to break.

Don't give them extra money. Instead, offer them the equivalent of a line of credit. That way, you can do small things like make them able to enter any social event or book rooms at any inn, that kind of thing, that illustrates a highly affluent way of life.

Limit their access to said funds via some arbitrary contrivance like an allowance or a set amount of spending permitted per a set amount of time due to a fear of destabilizing a market. (We are only allowed to sell X amount of product at Y price to keep diamond prices artificially high)

Limit the supply of people willing to take their money. Have their money be considered "dirty" because of something they or their family did, meaning no one wants to deal with them or handle their money at risk of being killed or something.

Limit the supply of an item to the point where no amount of money will be enough (food and medicine to the starving and ill is worth an infinite amount of money due to immediate need)

Belief doesn't matter so much as action. Their soul will go to whichever god that their personality and actions in life is most similar/connected to.

Same nothing that happens to everyone else.

Science Fantasy isn't ScFi and Fantasy, it's Fantasy with superficial SciFi elements plastered over it.

That said, exploring the consequences of Fantasy setting or trying not to handwave in SciFi tends to produce the same result because they're both just cliches of Weird Fiction.
Maybe try one of those? The latter is easier to direct, but the former usually gives better results.

I tend to enjoy settings which make use of the logical extrapolation of in universe principles, creating a new, logically consistent 'science' from the fantastical rules of the universe, rather than just clumsily applying real science on top of fantasy stuff.

as a matter of fact, whatever the result of the campaign, nothing of it matters, GW already decided to which extent chaos will win and at best any saved or destroyed planet will appear as a footnote in a book just to pretend how influential it has been

I play MTG. Usually my group is fine for proxies used in formats we don't usually play. We had a full proxy league a few months ago which was fun, but now we're having a non-proxy modern league because everyone and their mother has a modern deck in this town.

Proxies are for testing before you commit to buying. If you're playing in tournaments you need real cards anyway and for casual play it doesn't matter so just use a cheaper card

Yeah sorry. They find the limited spell slots too frustrating.
The other two things you cited are why we are currently switching to pathfinder.

In our homebrew, every single spells must've been ruled by the GM. Even after I proposed to used spells from pathfinder.
The preparation part is actually enjoyed, because it add a real sense to camp and have the PC sleep and pause in a long run.
For this last point, I may use the RAW rule of sleep for having the slots back.

I could see the villains attacking him. But even the most goody-two shoes hero would have a hard time fighting a dude who is genuinely trying to help people.
