Feels odd not being the guy starting the thread... anyway, I'll be honest, for a Hagspawn that feels like it'd be actually fun, my kneejerk writeup would be as follows:

Hagspawn
Ability Score Modifiers: +2 Strength, +1 Charisma
Size: Medium
Speed: 30 feet
Vision: Darkvision 60 feet
Powerful Build: You count as one size larger for determining Carrying, Dragging, Lifting Pulling, and Pushing Capacity.
Hexweaver: You know one Warlock cantrip of your choice, which uses Charisma as its spellcasting ability score.
Witch's Kin: You have Advantage on Constitution and Intelligence saving throws against magic spells and magic effects.

Actually, the only reason I didn't have three spells per Tail was because I couldn't think of ones to fill the missing slots in Wrath and Malice. Maybe Bane for Wrath and Dissonant Whispers for Malice?

Firstly, I'll be honest, I really don't see what the point is to go to all that hassle to make a "large, but not really" racial trait. You lose access to the one trait that most appeals about Large characters, doubled damage dice, and in makes extra work for the DM to fit your character into different spaces.

Also? Personally, I DESPISE negative ability scores and I want to kick the head in of whoever thought to bring them back in Volo's Guide, so that's a big hit against them in my eyes.

Why?

There are more efficient ways to lose friends.

Finding a game on Roll20 is like winning the lottery, you need a smaller community. I recommend the lfg subreddit, only took me two days there.

There are way more players trying to get into games then there are DMs running. I just posted asking for players yesterday and theres like over 40 applications. If you really wanna play i suggest learning how to DM by watching some youtube videos. Matt coville on youtube has some good beginner videos for new DMs.

Definitely a las-something. With an interesting powerpack placement, too.

Chaotic Evil people have no respect for others or how things 'should' be done, as such a Chaotic Evil being would enter a relationship looking to get as much personal pleasure out of it as possible, with no concern for whether that relationship follows social norms or how it affects anyone else, including the person the relationship is with.

Essentially you just need to answer two questions: what does the Red Dragon want from the character? & How are they going to try and get it?

this, /tg/ is full of sad, bitter shells of what once were people, most will ridicule and cry "Special Snowflake" on literally any character concept you present them with. Better to just make a fun character concept that you will enjoy playing rather than what /tg/ accepts.

Well I know that, but I'm also interested I setting people come up with concise ideas for compelling characters.

In my experience the best way to build a character is too think of a backstory and motivation for adventure with blank spaces wherever the proper nouns are, and then fill those blanks in with setting-relevant names and places after talking to the DM. The whole thing should be summarizable in one sentence.
