Got problems constructing the plot more than anything. If I know exactly what I want to write the words come out naturally, but before that I have to outline the actual story and I'm struggling with connecting all these great scenes I have in mind. Makes me question how I was able to finish a novel at all.

I used to be that way and now I'm all flipped around. I think it's because I don't write to an audience anymore, just for myself. And nothing sounds right to me so I stop a lot.
Then when I do write for others, mt confidence trips all over itself. It's a negative feedback loop that I'm trying to break.

BATAVI, WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU? STILL IN KOREA?!?!

I am posting this here because it needs to be made if it doesn't exist already:
>Wasnt there a manga about a guy with magical powers who literally did all that,[Pic-related] then saw a lonely young guy who reminded him of his past, so he used his magic to turn into the perfect waifu for him so that at least both of their dreams come true in a way?
I'm writing a book about mecha-piloting knights in a post-apoc wasteland.
Its fun, its coming together okay, and I hope I find a publisher. First draft is almost done at almost 200k. The game is to make sure the prose isn't eye bleeding terrible. I read a thing recently that made me want to restructure my entire writing style. Shit sucks.
What I really need is some kind of editor to give it a look, but that's a dollar bill problem more than anything else.

Damn I hate outing myself like this. Still in Korea. Getting worked like a dog, but I have tomorrow off. Tell you what. I promise to dedicate it to writing. The plan had been to wait until everything was done and then just drop it all at once, but if you'd rather i suppose I could do it in installments. I understand that this prolonged silence on my part is quite dispiriting and vexing. Believe me I've been on the other end of it, I get that you're pissed at me right now and you have every right to be, and i'm sorry about that. I'm just doing the best I can, and sadly that ain't all that great.

Fuck you bats.
Yeah, I still do...or at least try to. Been writing something for years, but I keep having problems with the start. Its an Urban Fantasy.
Is the sequel to Spiderwoods ever coming out?

Nothing that /tg/ would appreciate.

>What are you working on right now?
Working on a weird western setting where zombie cowboys escort the dead west so that they can enter the gates of heaven. Some info in pic related if anyone's interested. Ironing out the last bits for the four main cowboys, trying to figure out the beats to the plot atm.
Also some shitty fanfiction, but I ain't gunna post that shit here.
>Did you still love to write like you used to?
Not really, but mostly I've just been in a horrible slump. When I can actually get off my ass to do something I'm sure I'll love it again, I just gotta un-funk myself.Got a girl's attention and number for the first time in four years, so I'm feelin' pretty good atm. Will write definitely a bit before I go to bed this morning
>Are you aware of Our Lord and Savior Gene Wolfe?
Heard the name but I don't know any of his stuff. Recommendations?

I'd ask if you're me, but I haven't managed to finish anything yet. Midpoints are my fucking weakness, man.
